The author had no scientific sources to back up any of her claims. She only calls herself a nutritionist. I did not try any of the recipes because I decided to do the 10 day cleanse instead but still the recipes in this book look good and simple. I like how this isn't a diet book. The focus isn't on losing weight. It's about changing your eating habits and implementing green smoothies in your diet
In the past, I have purchased her 10 day green smoothies and tried a few times since I purchased 10+ years ago. Now that I am trying healthy alternative (YouTube, and Facebook group), water and/or dry fasting, I know that I need to detox and gather a whole food type of lifestyle. It is challenging when you are an emotional eater, or addicted to food and not used as a outlet to live.
I keep getting heat rashes or such for the past 3 yrs and harder to lose weight no matter what I do. I love the photos in this book, 30 days of smoothies, and most I tried or tweaked are so good. I do not like flaxseeds, prefer black sesame seeds, not a fan of chia seeds, I tried these things 10 or so years ago. Not a fan of most protein shakes, even plant based ones, so willing to add seaweed gels with flavor to get protein or extra in the smoothies.
I got my copy. Ninja blender does more in volume but not smoothies texture so go to small cup of 16 of smoothie maker. Also does dressings and sauce.
I love the shrimp, salads (tried apple, spinach, and pecans to replace or substitute for walnuts and used grated Parmesan than feta cheese). This is something she could have added is substitutes or alternatives. I can figure out for self or willing to search google when unsure.
Success stories I can relate to, especially Melanie with high blood pressure no matter what you do, but need to get the weight off and detox my body.
I tried the castor oil pack as suggested to use; can get gauze (hurt one) pads is the best soft cloth, and put oil on them then wrap in cling-wrap and will put in fridge to last up to 30 days. I have tried dry brushing, and been advised when I got past massages or to exfoliate, just not a biggie on it. I will keep seeing if I see results. Do not try one time and expect something to happen. Helps with blood circulation.
She kept her shape and saw a video on 5 women who keep their bodies in shape and routines, which JJ was in that number on YouTube.

Good book. The content didn't really introduce me to anything I had not heard before. That is why I didn't give it a 5-star rating. However, the recipes are excellent and really make this a book you want to have on your shelf AND in your Kindle. Definitely a keeper.

I've been drinking the smoothies for two months. Twenty pounds down, and I feel great. Just finished reading the book for more tips on how to detox and live healthier. I'm hoping to maintain smoothies for life.
I read her book on 10 day green smoothie cleanse. Formula worked and I lost 12lbs (5.5kg) I bought this book to get more smoothie recipes. Aim to lose 30kg this year. Following her books and being disciplined I know I'll reach my goal this year 2021
After completing the 10 day green smoothie cleanse, I just had to purchase a physical copy and read it on my Kindle as well. I learned so much and I look forward to doing this 30 day program as well for Green Smoothies 💚 for Life!!
This book is basically a follow up to the 10 day green smoothie book. It contains recipes too. The author also gives insight to some life changing habits that dont require a lot of time or effort.
