Summer was just trying to make a living, she wasn’t ashamed of her work. Why should she be? She loved her body, curves and all. One day everything is turned upside down. Summer is trying to learn how to live without her best friend, she found her demon mates, so Summer finds comfort in her friend with benefits. But can he be trusted?
Max and Kameron are just your average hard working demons. They miss their son but are determined to give their twins the best possible life. They gave up on finding their third mate and are happy with their relationship. They just want to have a happy family. But sometimes you learn the hard way you can’t always trust your family. Also, sometimes what you need is what, or who, you least expect and they can turn your life upside down.
Summer Time was a really cute story; very dark at some points but still cute in the end. I loved the reference to Sincerely Sammi! She’s hilarious and I could totally picture her as Summer. I liked all the self acceptance and love throughout the book, as someone who struggles with that it’s nice to see a positive point of view, even when treated negatively.
I’ll give this book a 3 only. I liked a few parts of the book. The political stuff wasn’t my favorite so I skipped over it. The conversations could have been done differently instead of paragraphs and paragraphs of their conversations. That bugged me. The SA shouldn’t have described the way it was. That was difficult to read. Definitely read the trigger warnings if you have them.
I got this as an ARC. DNF @26%. It picked up right after All Caged Up ended it. The book was pretty good until it started getting into politics. I just don't want to/plan to read about politics in a fantasy book. I enjoyed meeting Summer, John, Max and Kam.

I thought it was a very cute book. It was dark at times but in my opinion very good. Little errors here and there but nothing that turn me off. It was easy to read without reading the first book but I’m totally going to read the first one to check it out
