Wow! This was a crazy ending to this suspenseful and erotic series. Jakob and Bianca are two characters that I have mixed reviews about. There are things they both have done that I haven't liked. They weren't my favorite characters ever but this book wrapped up the whole series so well I was really hoping for them to get a HEA. This series took me out of my comfort zone but I'm so glad I read it. There were twists and turns I never saw coming and the suspense was well worth it in the end. I loved the way this author wrapped up this series with Resolution. I was on the edge of my seat, anxious to find out the truths from the lies. So good! Also, the sex scenes were really hot. There were a few minor things I didn't like, there was a little useless dialogue that I didn't like and there was a question or two that I still wanted answered but overall, I really enjoyed this book and entire series. This is a really great series if you like suspenseful romance.

FINALLY, we get answers.

While the prologue may have your very worried, this last book in the series picks up where the last one left off, with Bianca watching Jakob and David on video. That revelation is then followed by a confrontation with Rosie and Steve. Yeah, this series gets stranger and more confusing as it goes. But I promise you, you will get answers.

Since I can't give you those answers, I'll give you a recap on some of the key characters:
Bianca - while I still don't think she's very smart, repeatedly putting herself in a bad situation, I did like how she stood by Jakob and believed him first and foremost.
Jakob - throughout this series, my thoughts on him wavered from good to bad, but I've come to the conclusion that his personal feelings for Bianca have overtaken his need for revenge. He proves he will stand by her and is committed to finding answers with her.
Rosie - my thoughts on Bianca's supposed BFF, have declined with each book. And it turns out my instincts were right, she is a Grade A Bitch.
Steve - this guy is loco, a screw loose, one card short of a full deck, etc.

And then there are the men from the past that got everyone in this mess. This book does flashback to how Bianca, Jakob, Rosie and Steve's parents knew each other and what cause the rift among them.
Jeremiah - obsessed with control and power, he manipulated others and was beyond selfish in his need for that control and power.
Nicholas - did he break the bro code or did Jeremiah? That's up to interpretation, but it's clear that Angelina unintentionally was the cause of a lot of problems between this group.
Oliver - I felt sorry for this guy. He just want to be loved, but he ultimately was used by everyone.
Larry - in the flashbacks, I trusted this guy even less than Jeremiah. His desire to be in charge ruined a lot of lives.

Mistakes from the past have come back to haunt the offspring of these four men. It becomes a matter or who can forgive and who cannot. Those that can forgive, may finally find the peace and happiness they deserve.

Finally, we are given the answers to all of the questions we've had! Of course, Ms. Cooper keeps us on the edge of our seats right up until the very end! Little by little, the truth comes to light in this final book in the series. When all the cards are laid out on the table, the truth is far more complex than I could have ever imagined.

Oh, what a web Ms. Cooper has weaved! Everyone in this series seems to have a motive. To top it all off, they're all tangled together and betraying one another. It was a full-time job just trying to stay on top of who was working with who and who had double-crossed who. My head is still spinning!

I won't give away the ending, but I will say that this book does, in fact, provide resolution. The entire book was like a thrill ride that slows down a little right at the end. I was quite content with the ending. All my questions were answered and the numerous deceptions came to light. What a ride!

For so long now, Bianca has just wanted to know the truth...who can she trust and who is out to get her. In this final installment to the Swept Away series, she finally learns everything.

All I can say is wow...that is not what I was expecting at all. As with every other book in this series, the author kept me guessing and just when I thought I had it figured out, I was wrong.

From the crazy prologue to the last paragraph, this book will suck you in. It is not a standalone, you need to have read the other books in the series, and have read them recently, or you will be lost.

To keep this spoiler free, I will only say that this one jumps back and forth between the past and the present to reveal all the secrets and all of your questions will be answered by the end.

My thoughts:

POV: switches between characters throughout
Quick hook or slow starter? 5 (I was hooked from the first chapter)
Character development: 4
Level of Romance between characters: 4
Passion/Heat level: 4 (not a lot of sex in this one but what there is does not disappoint.
Angst/Heartbreak: 4 (this one is a roller coaster ride from start to finish)
Cliffhanger?: No all will be answered by the end.

Overall, I really enjoyed how this series was wrapped up and definitely recommend these books.

Highly entertaining conclusion to the Swept Away series! I've read all previous parts to the series (Illusion, Charade, Disillusioned, Masquerade) through NetGalley also. As a result, Resolution was one of my highest anticipated reads of the year. And it didn't disappoint!

Resolution is comprised of intrigue, mystery, suspense, and--last but not least--romance. There were definitely some surprises, some twists I didn't see coming. (Pretty sure I gasped aloud at one point!) J.S. Cooper has crafted a serious page-turner in Resolution, and I'm so pleased with how all of the loose ends were tied up.

I've enjoyed watching how Bianca progresses throughout the series: evolving from whiny and unsure of herself, to the self-confident and brave version we see in Resolution. In addition to the novel's fast-paced plot, her growth as a character is definitely one of the series' selling points.

Oh, and I loved the movie references--just the right amount without being shoved down readers' throats!

Although I've received a complimentary copy of the series' books in exchange for an honest review, I can say with 100% certainly that this story is something I would spend money on. Well-worth the read!

I have to preface this review by saying that I reviewed this without reading parts 1 and 2. Big mistake. You absolutely have to read the first parts of the triology to understand anything about this story.

I felt lost throughout most of the entire book. There is no lead in at all. I gathered what was going on by snippets of conversations and tried to follow who was who in the complex tangle of names and characters.

What I did come away with a was a tangled web of deception and suspense of who done it and why. Once I unfolded the characters and caught up with the story, the twists and turns were interesting although I was not overly impressed by several of the characters, especially Bianca. Jakob was declaring his love and attention to her and she rarely returned the affection, in words anyway. She was too engrossed in the mystery and deception and it seemed off-putting and out of place to me.

In some places, the conversations and scenarios seemed stilted and very repetitive. Maybe that is because many parts of the story seemed to be a rehash of things that happened in the past. I am not sure. I just did not warm up to this story.

Perhaps my overall review would be better had I started with book one.... so take this with a grain of salt.

omg omg omg I've finally found everything out!!!
there will be no spoilers in this review, I'm not going to ruin it by saying who's behind it all! no sorry you have to read and find out yourself.

for fans of this series you won't be disappointed, I thought if worked it out halfway and I was wrong, I kept guessing along the way and drawing my own conclusions only to have them blown apart.
I was really happy with the ending I think Miss Cooper did a brilliant job with this series.

I loved that we kept getting the story of the past from Nicholas POV, for me that was a highlight I really enjoyed, being in the centre of the twisted group from decades ago and see what went on but still everything is not as it seems!

more twists and turns, truths to be uncovered a wrong to be put right

I marked it down one star cause I felt the first have was a little slow but once your in your in, there's no putting down.

I do bloody love Jakob

'Resolution' (Swept Away #3) by J.S. Cooper is a great read. This story finishes out the Swept Away Trilogy. WOW! J.S. Cooper has done it again. I was on the edge of my seat waiting to see what would happen next. This story was full of passion, drama, suspense, twists and turns. This is an excellent finish to the Swept Away Trilogy. I think this was a perfect ending to the story for Bianca, Jakob, Blake, David, Rosie, Steve, and all the others. Highly recommend to all fans of romance and suspense.

book review: 5++++++(…) stars!!

From the first time I laid eyes on Swept Away series I kind of realized its greatness and saw how special it was/is. But I could never predicted that I would become such a junkie of Jacob and Bianca’s love.

With the first book, Illusion, I got my first incredible dose of this captivating love that did exactly what name of the series says: it Swept me Away!!!! And the intensity was just ….. GOD!!!

With the second book, Disillusioned, I became all-the-way dead. And the intensity kept rising…….

And, now, we come to the third book, Resolution. The book which is the until-now conclusion of this ………… no-words-could-ever-be-enough-to-describe-it masterpiece. The book that I waited what seems like forever to come ut so I can read it because the waiting was driving me insane. The book which revived me after what the second did.

Whatever I say about this magnificent story, it would never give the whole picture because simply, this story is all about emotions. Only the heart can grasp what is really about. And once I got into it and started meeting every aspect of it, I was screwed since we’re talking about a unique and steamy mind game. But as a reviewer and authentic bookworm, I will try to help you get the idea.

First of all, during I was reading the series, I constantly in a WTF-but-give-me-more mode. I couldn’t get enough of a-n-y-t-h-i-n-g. Love, conspiracies, secrets, lies, tender moments, pain, hate, twisted minds and plans etc. And it’s obvious, this series has it truly all. There is nothing that I didn’t find in it. Although, the main element of it is the Surprise. Actually, the constant, one-after-the-other, breath-taking Surprise.

Also, what had and still has me so …… obsessed with it was how beautiful and unique is the love that Bianca and Jacob share.

Beautiful as a rose, fragile as a butterfly. I watch her in my window with every sunrise.

The journey they took me in was amazing and I am not regretting a thing. Just thinking from where they started and when they ended up, and all of it thanks to their powerful love and the courage, strength and stubbornness they had to not let anyone or anything ruin their future and love, it couldn’t not let me overwhelmed and inspired. And PHEWW!! The banter between these two? Plain steamy and wonderful……

“I’m going to blind fold you, okay?”

“A blindfold?” he asked, his smile growing wider.

“I’m a kinky bitch, what can I say?”

“If I;d called you a kinky bitch, you’d slap me.” He laughed. “So right now, I’m just going with the flow.”

“That always works.”

J. S. Cooper did once again her magic and created a story and love which, from the beginning, went straight to the top places of my Top 5. And I bet it’s going to stay there forever because this kind of outstanding series/stories is not something you come across every day. All this mystery, suspense, unexpected, love combined into one is a guaranteed way for every reader to lose their mind and heart into it and cherise this unforgettable story for eternity. There aren’t any words enough for me to thank Cooper for all that she has offered and keep offering to the contemporary literature. And never give me a reason to diminise my love for her stories and her writing.

I've been following this series since Illusion first came out, and after each cliffhanger that was delivered in both Illusion and Disillusioned, I've always been left going out of my damn mind. And when I was able to get my hands on an early copy of Resolution? Not even the end of the world could have made me put this book down. I had so many questions from the first two books in this series, and I've been dying for some answers, and boy did Resolution give me those answers and MORE! As soon as I read those first eight words, my heart was racing, I was giddy with excitement, and already I was hooked and on the edge of my seat, ready for whatever this book was going to throw at me... except I wasn't ready. Not. At. All! Because what this book did give me? I did NOT see coming!

Set as a past/present scenario, we get this book told from Bianca (present), and her father's (past) POV; we see how Bradley, London and Maxwell came to be, and we see how it is this feud between them started. You don't get the answers right away. Nope. This whole book builds up to a bombshell of an ending where all the answers and more are revealed, and by the end of this book, I was left completely and utterly speechless. Resolution is a book filled with many plot twists, and just when I thought I knew what was going to happen next, this story takes a completely different turn, one that always came out of nowhere, and one that always left me gobsmacked.

I've been waiting for this book for a very long time now, and it truly did not disappoint. Many times I was thrown from the loop, and after the first two bombshells were delivered, I realised I was reading this book blind, and I soon just came to expect the unexpected, because even though I really did try to figure out what could possibly happen next... Nothing could have prepared me for all that did happen next, and through it all, I was glued to this book and I did not could not put it down. I applaud J.S. Cooper, for managing to create a plot twist of a plot twist of a plot twist that wasn't overdone, and always had me gasping out loud, my jaw dropping to the floor, and my heart racing at everything that was happening. In my opinion, Resolution is the best book of this series, and what a rollercoaster ride this series has been; I can't believe it's now over, but with how it did end? It was perfect, and I loved every single minute of reading it.

While I hate to say goodbye to Jakob and Bianca, I can deny that I was signing hallelujah to get the final book to this series. J.S. Cooper had me so twisted up in knots, I didn’t know which way was up! All of your questions will be answered and there are a couple of twists that were a surprise. *This is not a standalone, it is book 3 in the series.*
At the end of Disillusioned, we are left on a pretty big cliff hanger. I wanted to be so sure of Jakob, but J.S. Cooper was messing with my mind and I’ll admit, I started to worry about my HEA!
The author had me so tied up in knots, and so confused with the first two books, I was concerned about how she would clear it all up. However, she did a really great job of answering 95% of my questions and wrapping it up clearly and concisely.
As usual, the chemistry between Bianca and Jakob is off the charts hot! Turn up the air conditioning before you read it! We also get to see even more of Jakob’s sweet side and I fell hard for him. His attitude toward her possibly being pregnant was not something I expected. I could understand Bianca’s trust issues, however there were a few times when I had to ask myself if she would ever let them go.
The book is well written, although there are a couple of timing issues (also a prevalent issue in the first two books), mentioning several days, when it’s been just one or two, that sort of thing. Although, they certainly aren’t a detraction from the story itself. I’ve loved the roller coaster ride with Bianca and Jakob and I’m sorry to see the series end. However, I was definitely ready to have the pretzel straightened out!
I look forward to reading more from this author, and I would absolutely recommend this series! It’s sexy, intriguing, and suspenseful. I loved it!

This story is like a big soap opera! There's a whole bunch of shady things going on. This is the finale of the Swept Away series, so everything comes to a conclusion in this book. I've only read the 1.5 & 2.5 novellas before reading this book, and reading those made me want to read the whole series, and I got this book first, so I went ahead and read this first. I do recommend starting from the very beginning because the books are all connected. Bianca and Jakob met because they were kidnapped and stranded on an island, and they made a connection while trying to save themselves, but some hard truths were revealed, so trust is difficult. In this book, Bianca and Jakob are trying to unravel the mystery of what happened between each of their parents, and who is to blame for the threats and possible murders of Bianca's parents. I like the mystery of this series; there were some good twists, some I knew and some I didn't, so the revelation of everything was interesting, and I found how the story ending entertaining. I liked how the author did flashbacks to the parents at younger ages; even though I didn't really like any of them, I think learning more about them added a nice element to the story. I do like Bianca and Jakob together; they have some cute moments, but I didn't really like the sex scenes because they talk too much during, so they aren't very romantic, but I love how caring Jakob is with Bianca, and how they pretty much are completely honest with each other. This book had intrigue, lots of lies, kinky sweet romance, murder, and some really despicable characters, so that makes for a great, interesting read! It's a fun series! Fun in the sense of the craziness going!

This book started out in a very confusing way to me, and that's when I noticed it was a part of a series. So I went back, read the previous books and then I jumped head first into this one, thinking I would have the answers I wanted and the great surprise that would be the secret ('introduced' to us in the first book).

Well... I didn't get exactly that, but this book was definitely easier to like that the previous books.

First things first.

Bianca and Jakob...
Their relationship developed from that stationary phase of 'trust not trust', but when a relationship starts in deceit, can we really expect it to go roses and chocolates overnight? Can they even make it work?
I won't reveal anything, but I'll say this: 'old feelings die hard'.
Their relationship is still odd to me, but maybe it's just me asking too much.

Now to the big suspense part...
It was strange (to say the least). I honestly didn't get it. Three books (not counting the short stories) and the end was disappointing.

However, I rated the previous books with two stars, and this one was better, so it gets an extra star.

Personally, the whole series didn't do much for me, but you should go ahead and give it a try. For every book there's a reader. I just wasn't the one for this series.

What an ending!!

*Received a copy via Netgalley for an honest review*

I was enthralled from the prologue and couldn't wait to read the entire thing. Miss Cooper has definitely outdone herself with this series, with keeping the surprises coming and keeping you guessing.

We finally get all the answers that we have been seeking. Is Rosie friend or foe? What about Jakob? Is he the good guy he has been making himself out to be? And what about who is after Bianca? We find out all this, and so much more, in this epic conclusion to the Swept Away series.

I really loved reading this book, we get flashbacks into the life of Jeremiah Bradley and his little group of friends. And boy oh boy, what drama they bring! We get more of an idea of what drives Jeremiah to build his company and the treachery throughout his little group. Little snippets of what happened with Jeremiah, Nick, Oliver, Larry, Angelina, Joanie, and Macy and who were affected and what role they played in all of it. There were lots of surprises and twists that kept you in anticipation of the Resolution.

Great ending, if you read the others books in this series, this one sure won't disappoint!

Finally!!!! All of the questions from the first two books are answered. Well most of them anyway! The really important ones. JS Cooper had me scared for a bit. I was starting to think I wouldn't get to love Jakob. Bianca comes into herself and finally gets her truth she's been working so hard to find.

I just can't get over their chemistry and how it flows so well between them. Even though at times I thought Bianca was a fool for letting Jakob lie and come back. But I guess when you really love someone you fight for it. They definitely have their issues but sticking it out and coming clean works for them.

As much as you want to hate Jakob you really cant. He has his reasons for what he does and you really get to understand WHY in this final book in the series. I hate to say goodbye to Jakob and Bianca but I was sooooo relieved to get to the bottom of all the chaos and craziness. Thank you JS Cooper for an epic journey. It was worth the ride!!! Brilliant Ending to a suspenseful and invigorating series!!!
Finally all our questions are answered! J.S. Cooper has become one of my favorite authors her work is exceptional and all her books are a must read, she has the ability to make you feel as if you are actually in the story itself.
Truths are revealed in a way that will drive you insane and keep you at the edge of your seat wishing you had the super power to read ahead just to find out what will happen next as soon as possible.
I couldn’t comprehend all the different motives that drove each and every character to betray one another, but as I kept reading the story began to piece itself together. The twists and turns are life altering and full of suspense but well worth it in the end.
Resolution was intriguing and a definite page turner, I highly recommend the entire series!!!

“Because in life there is death and in death there is life,”

“Hush little baby, don’t say a fucking word,” he sang in an ominous voice, twisting the lyrics to the old nursery rhyme. His voice was the only sound in the small damp space aside from a low rattling in the corner; I didn’t want to know what or who was making that noise.

Brilliant!

Resolution brings us the conclusion to the Swept Away Series. A masterpiece plot. Author's writing is intense, gripping, mysterious, intriguing, evocative and sensual.
Cooper brilliantly created a suspenseful contemporary erotic romance story. She has outdone herself once again.

Resolution is a definite 5-star read.

**I received this book from Gallery, Threshold, Pocket Books through NetGalley for an honest review.**

Bianca is a long way from the island and she’s still trying to find answers. Jakob is still questionable in the role he’s playing but they have a connection and she trusts her instincts when it comes to him and everything else.

This was probably the best in the series for me. I liked the past and present element of it even though it added way too many people for me to keep track of. I loved the suspense behind it all, trying to guess who was involved and what was going to happen. I would think one thing and then something else would happen. When everything started to come together it all just got so crazy and I loved it.

Overall this was a really good conclusion to this series.

The END!!!! Gah!!! Okay so that shocking thing that is so unexpected yep its out…Bianca gets all of the answers she was searching for. Unfortunately along with said answers she also gets some very hurtful truths. Luckily everyone gets what they deserve. With so much betrayal and so many secrets it’s a wonder that there wasn’t more destruction. Do we get our HEA? Yep we sure do! Bianca and Jakob get the resolution they were after together. I absolutely recommend this series as it is one of my favorites!

Sex, lies, murder(spoiler alert) and super crazy twists!! I loved everything about all the books in this series! This left you with the "OMG!" moments and still had some light hearted and sexy ones to balance it all out! J.S. Cooper made all the crazy, sexy, thrilling moments work...and work well!!! Resolution is the third and final book in the Swept Away series. I was so ready to read this book and I was not disappointed. All the questions are answered in this book. I loved getting all the backstory and seeing how everyone fit together. But be ready and stay on your toes. So much is not what you think or as it seems. There are so many twists and turns leaving you to question if Jakob and Bianca will ever find their way. I was shocked and amazed at what was revealed. I suggest that all books be read one after the other now that they all have been completed. There was some confusion in reading the last book because parts of the previous books were forgotten due to the length of time it took for the third book to reach the market. A good read otherwise.

Dnf @ 35% it had too much going on from the past to present. I couldn't keep track of all the characters and who was who. Although I wanted to get to the bottom of why the whole kidnapping thing happened I just couldn't stay interested long enough.

It was too much back and forth and I lost the flow of the story between reads. It was not a good series from the beginning but I had hoped it would get better. But this 3rd book with the "decades ago" and "present" got on my last nerve!!! LOL...so needless to say it a NO for me.
