Nojin used to be a terrifying demon of legendary power.
Now? He’s the grumpy mayor of a peaceful little village where the worst threats are mushroom children learning teleportation and gnome cults trying to bless the well with whey wine.
He thought retirement meant tea, quiet mornings, and maybe scolding the town witch for weaponized cookies.
Unfortunately, a summoning scroll on another world just yanked him into a war he wants nothing to do with—and the summoner? A gorgeous, battle-hardened heroine who thinks she’s found her ultimate weapon.
Nojin wants one to go home.
But every time he returns back to his village, he knows it’s only a matter of time before the summoner calls on him again. And again. And again.
Exploding dragons, flirtatious mages, cross-dimensional contracts, and a hero who absolutely does not respect personal space—being the strongest summon in five realms has never been more annoying.

I wasn't sure what to expect when up picked up this book, but it was recommended by a friend. I started it and could not stop reading. I was immediately drawn in and could not stop. Now i need to read his entire catalog and, most importantly, see if there is a book 2.
When I started this book, I had never read anything like it. It was fun to read something outside of what I consider my normal. I will admit that I took a break from reading it, when I thought it was going in a romance kind of way. However, I was very pleasantly surprised that I was wrong. I laughed way too hard and enjoyed the constant back and forth between the main characters. Yet, the best was the twist at the end! I cannot wait to read the next book!
