A shy woman sets out for a day at the beach in a more revealing bikini than she'd ever worn before. A little risk leads to a lot more thrills than she ever expected or thought she wanted. With her bikini washed away and no towel or phone, several city blocks separate her nude body and her home. Constant risk of exposure fills her with anxiety, embarrassment and fear, fear that she might actually be enjoying it.
An interesting story. A little too . . . unrealistic and weird. I mean, swimming around naked in the ocean is one thing. Pouring flour on yourself because you lost your swimsuit and are running around the city? And you think the flour will protect you somehow? Not . . . exactly sure how that would have helped any.
Not really sure what else to say. A woman goes to the beach wearing a swimsuit. And is both thrilled and nervous about being out like that. Swimsuit is more revealing that anything she's ever worn before, swimsuit wise, but isn't even the skimpest swimsuit she sees once she actually gets to the beach.
There's a weird mix of naviete teenage like thoughts and actions of the woman who lives with her parents, while at the same time words used that indicate that this is an adult woman. Not a teenager. Who just decided to run around the city naked. Well, decided to run around the city in a skimpy bikini. The running around naked part was because she decided to swim nude. And lost her swimsuit in the process.
Somewhere along the way there was a thin feel of fantasy, somewhat plausible fantasy, involving a woman going to the beach and being turned on by what she was wearing. Then somewhere along the line the story veered into absurdity. Somewhere around the point when it felt like the author didn't know how to actually bring the story to a conclusion. So kept adding stuff.
Still. With half stars, I'd probably rate this 3.5 stars.
A young woman does something daring and it goes wrong, leaving her nude, miles from home. Fans of ENF fiction will really enjoy her attempts to remain hidden from view and get home. The conclusion is unlikely, but humorous.
