The Omega's Flower Shop

Rate this book
She hides behind scent blockers and petals. They walk in and ruin everything—in the best way possible.

Everyone in town loves Marigold Bloom.

She’s sweet, soft-spoken, and always has dirt under her nails from tending the blooms in her cozy little flower shop. No one knows she’s an unregistered Omega—not even her closest customers. She’s spent years hiding her scent and her past behind carefully curated smiles and handmade bouquets.

Until four Alphas walk in and her world flips.

One failed blocker. One accidental brush. Four Alphas who stop breathing when they catch her scent.

Rhys, the cold one with contracts in his pocket and secrets behind his tie.
Jax, the ex-fighter who builds her shelves and blocks the door like it’s instinct.
Theo, the poet with quiet hands and stormy eyes who sees her even when she’s trying not to be seen.
And Levi—the feral one who bites, climbs things, and brings her a goat as a proposal gift. (Yes. A goat.)

They don’t ask to claim her. They just do.

But when her old pack comes to town with threats and legal leverage, Marigold will have to go back to the life she ran from… or fight to keep the one blooming at her feet.

A cozy, steamy omegaverse romance full of scent bonding, soft Alphas with touch-her-and-die energy, and a sunshine Omega who finally finds home.

Please explain to me how she went into heat alone, with not even a friend, wakes up and a shedload of alphas show up and she thanks them for the gifts? What gifts? Was a whole chapter missing from the kindle book? Either this did a badly explained time jump, we are supposed to presume she found these random alphas numbers and called them?, or there is literally a chapter missing. I am annoyed as hell. DNF

Ok, the 1 star is a little misleading-DNF at 22%- but there is at LEAST one or two chapters missing from the book-and it's between chapters 3 and 4. I'm assuming there's a lot of important things that happen in those missing chapters, but the jump just doesn't make sense.

Goldie is an omega in hiding, using blockers to prevent her designation from being revealed. She manages to run out (of a prescription medication-a little tstl) and then the 4 alphas enter her flower shop and essentially trigger a heat. Chapter 3 ends with her realizing she's going in to heat. Chapter 4 starts with her having nested and having all 4 of the Alpha's smells in her home, as well as items from each of them.

I am also disappointed because I read the first book in the Omega's Series, The Omega's Bookstore, and it was good. This feels like a completely different voice than the first book. Perhaps it's just the tone the author wanted this FMC to have, but still, it's a bit jarring, as well as disappointing.

Time jumps random periods from chapter to chapter. Goldie has hardly met the alphas before somehow they are in her apartment permanently and she is remembering gifts they gave her. No idea how they got there. The old pack shows up to create drama but then disappear without another word. Much is made of her desire to be independent and her fear of having others in her life but she says nothing when one of the alphas has completed forms and started the process to register her as theirs, although no one seems to have discussed that with her. The alphas are apparently big shot business people renovating a building across from the flower shop but they seem to have become knowledgeable about plants and florist business, and taken over running of her shop, in a flash.

This is such a sweet one with the most romantic moments and some of my favorites characters so far this is a tried and true Omegaverse a reverse harem of men just as lost as she is and they save each other and find so much love and acceptance in the love they find making each other better in the process, I highly recommend this read if you like a spicy sweet very fragrant love story that just happens to take place in a floral shop!

Needs lots of editing

This was one of the few books I DNF. There are a lot of writing errors, chapters seem to be missing, information doesn’t add up and the story just doesn’t flow like it should.
The general story line is a good idea, and the MMC’s are interesting and I actually did want to know more about them but just couldn’t bring myself to finish just because of the writing

not for me

I’ve just started reading this and straight away I’m not enjoying…a story has to pull you in with the first few chapters…this has missing parts…I had to go back to see if it was me but nope..it’s the author…I really dislike only one character speaking..it’s boring…sorry but I don’t recommend this story…how it’s written is not good…

major AI vibes

This gives big AI vibes, no continuity between chapters/storyline, we go from not knowing MMC to 2 pages later they’ve apparently left her gifts and she knows all their names? Read 3 or 4 chapters before I had to give up as it was just too painful

It was like there was a chunk of chapters missing. Really felt it between 3 & 4. Rest of the story felt very rushed because we missed the relationship building that was in the other books.

Missing chapters early on which means you’re missing crucial details. Don’t bother reading

Great idea, so disappointingly executed (AI??) with detail gaps bigger than my need to drink away my sorrows.
