Princes Ronan and Dominic Karos have been living in darkness since the loss of their brother and their chosen mate. They have one chance to save the female destined to be theirs, but the journey will take them across the stars and into the unknown.
And time is running out to save her…
Kylie Bell is dying, but that doesn’t mean she’s ready to go down without a fight. So, when two alien dragon shifters arrive on her doorstep promising her a second chance, she is more than ready to take them up on their offer. However, forging a new life with her two sexy princes back on their home world isn’t as easy as it seems.
As they emerge from the shadows into the dawn, they must work together to defeat the forces seeking to tear them apart, or risk losing everything they hold dear.
Laurie Roma mainly writes contemporary, romantic suspense, fantasy, and sci-fi romance. She can usually be found tapping away on her keyboard, creating worlds for her characters while she listens to music. Of course, her playlist depends on her mood…but then again, so does her writing. I really love The Arcadian series. I was looking forward to this book finally coming out, but was disappointed also. There was a lot of inner dialogue starting out and also throughout the book which took away from the story. The other thing that was the story didn’t flow like the first three books. I felt like I was reading a book that wasn’t created by Ms. Roma. But I enjoyed the characters, loved the story outline so instead three stars I gave it four for the story and will continue to look forward to the next book.
Plot is thin. Mostly sex scenes, which is fine if you’re into that, but you don’t have much actual interaction or story. I think we are going to have a scene, but instead we are told something happened and the most description, as I said, is in the sex scenes. I feel this is lazy writing, but there is still enough here in the premise and world building that I will probably chance it again in the hopes of more story and character development.
This is the 4th in the series and brothers Dominic and Ronan are finally getting to meet their true mate. But Kylie is a human on earth with a terminal illness. Dominic and Ronan have to travel to earth to save her life and bring her home. Fast paced read, lots of steam, great characters and so well written. I loved this story and the series.

I’m generally not a fan of reverse harem , but it’s Laurie Roma and I enjoy everything she writes, including this. I like that her h‘s are strong and there’s no drama or idiotic misunderstanding; it’s up front and straight-shooting and loads of fun to read.
I am so thankful to the author for writing a new book in this series. It was exciting to see it in my Kindle app!! It is a great addition to the series. I did feel it was a little bit rushed but I am just thrilled to have it.
