this was so freaking sweet!!! A read that I really needed😩💓!!!
First I have to say I adored the artstyle so much!! It’s really beautiful to look at!!
Okay but about the story …I loved that we had here a very healthy relationship full of mutual respect and communication. You can feel how much they love and support each other, even when work makes circumstances less than ideal!! The smut in this manga also just hit different when you just see how much they love each other.

This was definitely a really beautiful and sweet read and i would definitely recommend reading it if you look for something with a lot of sweetness and something without much drama!!

A super cute and wholesome story! It was so nice to see their relationship thrive with good communication and support. The characters felt real and it’s kind of a relief to see a story like this without the miscommunication and (sometimes forced) conflicts that are usually included. The conflicts in the story felt authentic and strengthened their chemistry!

Not a whole lot of substance, but it's a cute relationship dynamic with pretty art.

This one's a little bit unique because it's starting off with an established relationship: Haruto and Aoi met in college, began dating at some point after that (?), and have been together for two years while pursuing their separate but hopefully soon to be connected careers.

I wish there was a bit more clarity about how the romantic side of their relationship began, because I can't quite tell how far into their careers they are. Even if they'd met and immediately began dating right at the end of their final year of college, two years wouldn't be enough time for Aoi to start acting and become popular enough to both star in and win an award for a high-profile movie - and for Haruto to have a strong enough social media following for a major movie's producer to personally request him as an on-set stylist, when he had no prior movie experience.

When they first met, Haruto was still offering free haircuts and styles to practice his craft, and Aoi had never even considered acting. (It doesn't say what he was originally studying in school.)

So all that's just unnecessarily fuzzy. Maybe the second volume will show more backstory, or maybe it's not considered important enough? Even their ages aren't shown in their bios, which would provide some sort of a clue. The rival actor, Kitagawa, is 28, but all we get are their heights and star signs.

Anyway, we begin with them being extremely lovey-dovey - not getting to see each other as often as they'd like, but being very affectionate when they are able to carve out some shared time. It's mostly Aoi whose schedule is too packed for a personal life, especially since he travels a fair amount for his film sets. Since Aoi got his big break due to the haircut and makeover Haruto had given him, he's made it his goal to become a big enough actor to request his own personal stylist - his boyfriend.

Even that's a little underexplained; why would Kitagawa be able to do that already but Aoi can't? They have equal billing in this movie, so Aoi's career should be established enough for him to make requests like that too. I guess I'm just not getting the plot or point of this story, really.

Mostly, they spend a lot of time telling each other how much they love each other and having sex. I did find their beach date very cute, and it was fun to see Aoi working hard on set and rising to Kitagawa's acting challenges. I also liked that Kitagawa was a pretty decent (and entirely straight) guy who ended up befriending them both after poking around in their business for a little bit.

I don't need drama or rival love interests or anything like that, but the main characters are a little too bland. When the story's pure stuff and so are the characters, there's just nothing to hang onto. Haruto especially feels a little bit too much like a shoujo protagonist, and I can never get attached to the really saccharine ones in that genre, either.

I'll have to think about it. I didn't dislike it by any means, but there are a couple of other series in the actor setting that have more interesting storylines ( At 25:00 in Akasaka and Black or White ), so I'm not sure if I need to bother with a third I'm not that sold on.

I loved this so much more than I thought I would!! Seeing how in love with each other Haruto and Aoi are was honestly so refreshing? I feel like BL is filled with a lot of denial, but this had none of that. These two were so in love with each other from start to finish and weren’t afraid to say it! Can’t wait to read more!!

I thought this was a very sweet and pure fluffy romance that is rarer to see nowadays. It gets tiring to constantly read intense drama, angst, and misunderstanding that drag out for at least 20 chapters. This will be a future comfort read for me. I found the characters to be lovable and realistic in a they actually feel like regular people not out right manga characters. It also helped that the mc is a hairdresser like i am so it was a little more exciting personally to read and helped me connect more with the character. Same with the ml, as someone who has acting experience it also felt familiar in a way. It was nice to see their dynamics and how they care for and support each other in their careers.

The problem, for me, is that Haruto and Aoi are already in a relationship. They’re boyfriends already. So instead of getting to come along and witness them fumbling as they try to get out “I like u pls date me,” the main ~conflict is that they’re on the same set – Aoi is filming a movie – and they … can’t be open about their relationship with each other.

Boring.

But Omayu figures that can’t be the only conflict, and thus adds another complication: Aoi’s co-star’s ~interest in Haruto, which does provoke some drama but it’s kinda stupid and, again, boring. They’re already in a relationship. There are no stakes.

I will say this – Aoi is supposed to be this up-and-coming rising star. And yet he drives around Tokyo with no one realizing it’s him, and also kissing his boyfriend with no one catching a snap of them?

While paparazzi are likely not as prominent here in Japan, there are a lot of people with mobile phones. Idols get caught all the time with their SOs. And this popular movie star doesn’t get outed? I am not saying I wanted that to be the crux of the book. But this storyline was so fucking boring that I wanted something else to happen.

This was super cute, but honestly a little boring? I prefer the build up of a relationship so this being an already established relationship didn't really work for me. I've liked other established relationships, Black or White jumps out to me as one, but those always have more going on in the plot. Also I'm happy it wasn't a conflict, but I feel like they were being really loose with their relationship that it didn't make sense that they weren't caught by anyone other than the costar. Idk I like おまゆ先生's art style and the relationship is cute. I just wanted more from it.

"Wait, I love you" és una història d'amor entre un perruquer que va fer un canvi radical a un actor novell i ara tot just comença a triomfar, amb la qual cosa es veuen obligats a mantenir la relació en secret. Tot plegat es complicarà quan hagi de compartir set de rodatge en una nova pel·lícula taquillera, però són tan monos, s'estimen tant i es donen suport màxim l'un a l'altre que és una cucada de lectura ♥♥♥ il·lustracions precioses d'Omayu, molt fan!!!

This was incredibly cute!
Established relationship between a rising star in the acting horizon and a super talented yet comparably normal hair and make up artist gets tested when they have to work at the same set and keep their love a secret.
