When they’re partnered against their will to cover the snowstorm of the century, they find themselves scrambling to figure out how to work together.

Eager to be taken seriously as a journalist, Delilah offers Jackson a deal. If he can help her ace this assignment, she’ll help him rediscover his long-lost fun side. the best way to read this is to sit down with a cup of coffee and nuzzle into your bed/blanket and let the mushy feeling to take over your body. every moment with jackson and delilah from the first time you see them interact on page will have you warm and cozy.

thank you so much to berkley and netgalley for the e-arc!

Thank you so much to Netgalley for providing this ARC!

Oh, B.K. Borison has done it again (as we knew she would). I adore all of her other books, namely First Time Caller, so this was one of my most anticipated releases, and it did not disappoint!!

This book completely charmed me right from the get go. There’s an ease to the writing (as with all B.K. Borison books I feel) that makes it incredibly quick to read, but at the same time it doesn’t feel rushed. One of the main things I adored about this book was the the chemistry between our main characters - it comes across so naturally that it never felt forced/over the top/lust based, and it made me literally kick my feet and giggle at times (lol).

Our gorgeous MMC Jackson deserves his own paragraph because he’s literally that lovable and endearing. He’s written with the perfect mix of warmth, cuteness and lowkey vulnerability, which endeared him to me super quickly. Some of the quotes from his POV had me literally having to put down my kindle and stare at a wall for a bit - it was literally that serious🙂‍↕️ I fear he may be one of my new ultimate book boyfriends and I think it’ll take me a while to stop thinking about him LOL

The setting and the atmosphere were also wonderful - a lot of this takes place at a lodge in the middle of a snowstorm, which I felt gave this book a sense of coziness and intimacy and wintery-vibes that I absolutely loved.

Overall, this book is the perfect kind of read for when you want something cutesy but still meaningful and ‘deep’ in places, romantic but not cringey, and atmospheric enough make you feel like you are also at a snowy lodge with these characters. I was grinning ear-to-ear for majority of this book, and Jackson is the new blueprint. LOVED this book and would highly recommend you to pick it up once it comes out!!

BK Borison cherishes the romance genre and you can tell. We’re in the middle of watching a classic, timeless series be built. Delilah and Jackson’s book is perfect—unapologetically soft with top notch banter, so comforting, FUNNY, HOT. Magic.

We did something right to get to live in the same timeline as BK, that’s for sure. Can’t wait for everyone to fall in love with this book 😭

P.S. sledding. come back to me when you know what this means.

I think I’m officially addicted to B.K. Borison’s new series. She’s always been a master at crafting adorable, whip-smart main characters—but this time she also serves up a villain so loathsome I wanted to turn him into a human punch-bag. From Keith’s first appearance, I was inventing increasingly creative curses to hurl at the page. My hatred for him briefly eclipsed my love for Jackson and Delilah (briefly!), and I kept wanting to wrap Delilah in a protective bubble because that woman deserves only good things.

The marketing nods to When Harry Met Sally made me grin, but what really stole the show are the tropes: forced proximity, grumpy-meets-sunshine, and opposites attract—all executed to perfection. Jackson became a parent figure far too young, raising his twin sisters like a single dad after being failed by a selfish, neglectful mother; he’s meticulous, controlled, and painfully selfless. Delilah, also abandoned by her mother and now caring for a grandfather whose memories are slipping away, is stuck under the thumb of an egotistical boss (hi, Keith) who sabotages her at every turn. Yet she keeps smiling, keeps showing up, even when it hurts. They carry different kinds of scars, but both are quietly heroic.

On the surface they couldn’t be more different. Delilah thrives in the spotlight—spontaneous, adventurous, a natural live reporter. Jackson hates cameras, clings to schedules, and breaks out in hives if someone rearranges his bullet points. Then comes the assignment: they must travel together to cover a historic—and frankly terrifying—snowstorm, filing stories from the eye of the blizzard. Cue the clashing styles, the snark, the slow warming. Jackson thinks Delilah is chaos in cute boots; Delilah thinks Jackson has forgotten how to have fun. What neither expects is how much they’ll learn about themselves while learning to work together.

The weather nerdery is a delight (two people flirting over radar models? Inject it into my veins), but it’s the emotional weather that matters: how each of them handles the metaphorical storms that shaped their lives. As miles and whiteout conditions pile up, walls come down. The banter is sparkling, the tenderness is earned, and the chemistry is the kind that fogs up windows. Somewhere between emergency broadcasts and roadside diners, “colleagues” becomes “friends,” and “friends” becomes…well, you’ll see. Let’s just say their forecast calls for undeniable.

Overall: I’m this close to launching an “I Hate Keith” merch line—T-shirts, mugs, the works—and mailing them out with copies of the book and a box of emergency, sprinkle-heavy cruffins. I haven’t loathed a character this much since Game of Thrones’ Joffrey and Ramsay. Thankfully, Delilah and Jackson’s sweetness (and those precious twins, Adeline and Penelope!) soothed my rage. This is another feel-good romance from B.K. Borison—one that lights up my heart like a string of Christmas lights and reminds me hope can survive the harshest weather, the worst bosses, and the messiest pasts. Five “let it snow” stars!

A very huge thanks to NetGalley and Berkley Publishing for sharing this extra-sweet, adorable romance’s digital reviewer copy with me in exchange for my honest thoughts.

firstly, thank you to the publisher for an arc!

a favorite read of 2025🩵

“how special it is to be loved by someone who chose me. over and over again.”

C R Y I N G ♾️ STARS !!!!!

i just really loved everything about this book: jackson and delilah’s budding relationship, the humor and the spice (spice was minimal which is disappointing considering i loved the mcs together womp womp), how delilah was a fun and quirky character that wanted to be taken seriously while still maintaining her sunny personality; just everything about this book was beautiful. the subplots? phenom.

and ok i literally think bk borison is magical — with every book, i love her mmcs even more and more.

jackson is probably my dream man — he is the epitome of healthy masculinity: he is the legal guardian of his twin sisters and cares for them with all the love and respect one could imagine, but he worries he’s not enough for them (spoiler, he IS!!); he’s grumpy and gruff and awkward but still very considerate towards the people he loves; he’s also insanely type a (yes pls) but feels safe to be spontaneous with his PERSON!!! and he’s SMART! we love a man with book smarts and emotional intelligence.

i wasn’t originally going to buy the afterlight edition (saving money you know) but i definitely want it after eating this romcom up.

NEXT ONE ASAP PLSSSS BK BORISON TYYY🩵

——

i’m beyond excited to continue this series!! bk borison is my new favorite autobuy author, and i yearn for the yearning men she writes🥰🩵

[arc review] ‘and now, back to you’ joins the elusive 6* club—and honestly if I could summarise it in one sentence, I’d say it’s 2000s romcom perfection set in modern day.

‘and now back to you’ is a dual pov that follows jackson and delilah—two competing meteorologists who work for baltimore’s independent radio station and weather channel.

the way b.k. borison writes makes reading so effortless and seamless. the characters are complex and feel so real that the readers can relate to them in one way or another.

I truly believe we are watching a book series be created—in real time—that’s going to be well read and loved for years to come.

from the very first page I was captivated by the story and the characters. while we saw glimpses of their rivalry in the first instalment of the heartstrings series, this goes into depth of who they are at their core—and how despite their first impressions, they’re actually more alike than they think.

if jackson and delilah were taylor swift songs; jackson would be ‘you’re on your own, kid’ and delilah would be ‘mirrorball’.

overall I really enjoyed this—I liked the mountain lodge in the snow setting, and how well jackson and delilah complimented each other when they worked together.

“I always liked the things I could predict best, but it took the one thing I never saw coming to show me how much I was missing.” !!!!!

thank you SO much to pan macmillan for the arc !!! I still can’t believe I got to read one of my highly anticipated reads of 2026 already <3

SIX STAR SIX STAR SIX STAR SIX STAR SIX STAR SIX STAR ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

“for the sunshine optimists.
and the cloudy skies they brighten.”

it feels kind of rare for me these days to start a book that immediately from the first page feels like the book is going to be pure magic. unless a book starts out with just the most out of pocket first line i dont find myself highlighting the first chapter pretty much ever but ended up highlighting like 7 different paragraphs or convos through out, including the first few sentences of the books bc i simply just could not stop giggling at a grumpy jackson and the fun chaos of him and the girls.

i read first time caller in september of 2024 and recently again with the audiobook at the beginning of november and both times fell head over heels for jackson and his idiosyncrasies HARD. i knew i was going to totally love him but what shocked me a little was that i somehow found myself loving him, delilah and their story more than FTC, which felt insane because i have been absolutely obsessed with that book for over a year now lol.

it is somehow so hard for me to put into words how this book is absolute perfection. its witty, its cozy, its SEXY, its unputdownable.

there’s delilah our sunshine, silly, chaos personified girl who is not only beauitful inside and out but so smart and driven. shes actually the most perfect woman to ever fictionally exist in my eyes. theres just something so special about the way shes able to still be so vulnerable and soft even when shes being basically tormented for simply existing and being good at her career. i love the range of emotions she has and the way she isn’t afraid to wear her heart on her sleeve. the way shes able to calm jackson’s mind and help him see just how wonderful he is UGH i love her so much.

jackson clark is basically the only book boyfriend to exist ever, like dead ass. i could honestly go on for days about him but this is all youre getting. hes perfect, end of story, argue with a wall!

these characters felt so extremely relatable to me as someone who has spent their whole life feeling that they are simultaneously too much and not enough. stories with these characters always mean SO much to me because its so bittersweet to see people i relate all of my hardest feelings with getting their happy endings and getting to see them overcome their obstacles. fictional or not, it means a lot to me to see big or little wins like that.

bk saw us say “bring back yearning” and FUCK did she deliver tenfold. the way these two shared one room, ONE BED and yet somehow still seemed like they were on completely different planets missing and wanting each other. its simply baffling to me how much of a genius bk and her writing is,

it feels like such a treat to be alive at the same time bk borison is writing and publishing what will without a doubt become cult classics in the romance world. to be a small part of it being able to review early and proceed to shove it down anyone out will listens throat when its release is something i will forever be grateful for 🩵

i cannot wait to make this book my entire personality for the foreseeable future as this was my favorite read of 2025 and i am very confident it will take a miracle to make me love a book more than i love this one.

and now, back to you 🌨️🩵

we! are! so! back! thank to b.k borison bc she did it again and honestly i’m not surprised because she’s continuing delivering and trust me when i tell u that she’s continuing doing it… i mean if u know me u would and if u don’t… u better start :)

but now let’s go back to jackson and delilah our two meteorologists that we already met in first time caller and finally had the occasion to get to know more and let me tell u that it was a delightful experience full of everything because trust me while i was reading this book i was feeling a lot of different things from anger to love... because these two where should i even start? delilah’s such an example of a good female character that even in the worst situations she puts a smile and tries as much as she can even when she struggles the most she tries! i truly loved her! jackson well… besides i mean look at him… like yup… he’s the best brother ever that puts their sisters needs first but not only theirs (ikyk) and i truly loved to read about his vulnerable part and how he dealt with it and his emotions in general… he’s just great plus the conversations with aiden? oh they are my favourite besties in the whole series :)

delilah and jackson in the end were perfect for each other funny, raw, lovely and vulnerable the perfect combination for a love story that just feels right to read because it has the simple things that are also the best and i truly loved how the writing portrayed it!

least but not last THOSE HINTS about book 3 like… i NEED IT NOW… like you’ve got mail’s one of my fav movies and those hints… i’m so ready to devour that book even tho it will be the last but a part of me will always have a place dedicated to this series bc it’s just hits different!

so… what are u waiting for? if u haven’t started this series just go and add to your tbr and start it NOW i see u… GO and for the rest that are waiting for these two prepare yourself for a special forecast full of love :)

a LOT of thanks to panmacmillan and netgalley for sending me the arc of this book in exchange for my honest opinion!

Yes, it took me ages to finish this book, but it’s not the book, it’s me. The book was amazing!

Jackson and Delilah are both weather geeks. He works at a local radio station; she works across the street at a local TV station. They are polar opposites: she is a pink, happy mess, and he is a walking Microsoft Excel with nerdy glasses. (And don’t we love nerdy glasses! 😏)

Now they get an assignment and have to work together. And, since there was a mishap with the booking, they have to share a room. And… a bed. 🤭

I loved their dynamic; they were sweet and funny, and they had amazing chemistry. I loved the way they communicated. There was no third-act breakup because Jackson didn’t allow Delilah to spiral and dump him. It was such a beautiful scene! A hero stopping the third-act breakup might be my favorite micro-trope ever. 🥰

This series is super cozy, and I can’t wait for the next book!

Thanks Pan Macmillan and NetGalley for the arc, all opinions are my own.

At this point, it seems to me that Borison is unable to write an mmc that isn't a literal piece of shit or at the very least not annoying. Jackson is the culmination of every single trait you're told to run away from. He was misogynistic, sexist as hell and hypocritical as fuck. I was disturbed...this can't possibly be the man the author is expecting me to root for?!!

The book also has far too many plotlines going on that weren't handled with the care needed, or were just left halfway. The author tried to fit in an Alzheimer's, absent parent AND a professional misogyny plot line into the one 300 page book and it was a total dumpster fire.

Not even the relationship between the mcs was good in this mess of a book. Not only was the reason for their rivalry completely ridiculous and plain stupid, the transition from rivals to lovers was so terribly done I checked out of the book at that point.

I thought Lucie and Aiden were bad but truly I think Jackson was a lot more terrible. Borison it's time to get fresh eyes and stop surrounding yourself with yes-men because there's no way anyone who actually reads romance books alpha read this and told you to go ahead with it.

Thank you Netgalley for the ARC in exchange for an honest review

i’m not exaggerating when i tell you chapter 25 altered my brain chemistry. nothing will top that chapter🫠🫠🫠 delilah and jackson are so precious to me i’m gonna carry them in my heart wherever i go 🔐💖

“It's always been me coming right back to you. You're the end of every sentence, Delilah. I've just been too stubborn to see it."
Her lower lip trembles before she catches it with her teeth. "You just said you don't believe in fate."
"But I believe in you," I rasp. "God, Delilah. Do I believe in you."

this EASILY became one my top comfort reads i have ever read and i loved every single bit of this! the first book in the series was already one of my favorite reads of this year, yet somehow this one i loved even more.

typically, i know a romance book is going to be one of my favs when i can connect with both main characters on their own. delilah is very "mirrorball" coded while jackson is very "this is me trying" coded, and i was able to find bits of myself in each of them (jackson specifically). their chemistry in this book was off the charts and had me GEEKED over the smallest interactions possible. jackson clark has been added to my fictional blueprints. i literally highlighted so many cute little lines and i just had the biggest grin on my face while reading this one. the author's writing is just so beautiful and you can tell she really cares about her craft and creating the most heartfelt romances.

don't want to give away too much, but i love this book with my whole heart <3

I think reading this book is like getting a hug from your most loving person — where all your insecurities melt away, and you just feel safe enough to voice everything.

Delilah and Jackson are two people navigating life and finding a safe space within each other. I love when romance books explore the hardships and struggles of everyday life — and when characters can communicate? That’s a big yes from me.

On the other hand, this book wasn’t an easy read for me, especially because of Delilah’s story. Her grandpa reminded me of my own in so many ways — not just in his diagnosis.

Jackson was amazing: a true rock you can lean on, yet soft enough that his actions never felt confusing. I especially loved when he opened up and allowed himself to feel everything.

This was a really great, solid read, and I would absolutely pick up a physical copy. Thank you to Pan Macmillan and NetGalley for providing me with an ARC. All opinions are my own.

Did I only allow myself 100 pages a day maximum to stretch this reading experience out? Yes. Yes, I did.

Jackson, our meteorologist on the radio, lives by lists, order, and routine. Enter (stumble in) Delilah, Baltimore’s TV weather reporter, who is adventurous, spontaneous, and accident-prone.
When they have to team up to report an incoming snow storm (one-bed trope, I see you), can grumpy meets sunshine, opposites attract hold true?

In book one, I related to aspects of Lucy, here, Jackson has my heart. I, too, live by sticky notes and alarms and crave routine like Delilah loves powdered donuts.

Whilst I fell harder for Aiden and Lucy, I liked how the conflict keeping the characters separated made sense and ultimately contributed to their character arcs.

I love reading BK Borison as her characters feel real. They have a life and a history outside of the present romance.

Jackson is a caregiver to his two younger sisters, and Delilah was raised by her grandfather who now has dementia.
Jackson hates being in the spotlight. Delilah is dealing with a raging, egotistical boss (new worst villain romance, grrrr).

Jackson feels like he isn’t enough (not fun, too regimented, boring). Delilah thinks she’s too much (manic pixie fairy, plastering on a smile).

I think I've finally figured out how to crack open the part of me that doesn't have to run through every worst-case scenario before making a decision. I just need to kiss Delilah. She silences all the fuzzy, staticky parts of my brain.

Never does the romance overtake the plot. They perfectly balance and complement each other. The steamy scenes are perfectly timed and never feel overbearing.

What did feel overbearing was Jackson’s constant need to care. It is a big personality trait of his, but it did feel overdone towards the end.

“And now?” she asks, holding on to me tight. “Back to you,” I reply, curling my arms around her. I pull her closer until I can feel her heart tucked to mine. “Always right back to you.”

I loved that Delilah remained strong in her dreams. No man is getting in her way. I am sick of romance books where one of the love interests suddenly changes to fit their partner.

Also, shout out to Gina, who is Delilah’s devious friend. My bets are on her having the next book.

Physical arc gifted by Pan MacMillan (yes, I am still in shock).
