1,5 Stars.
Short and definitely not sweet, which would be ok if the story made any sense at all.
Firstly let me say that i liked some components, like the heroine and the couple's chemistry. But it was sadly too short and the plot was nonexistent. It could have gone in so many ways but it failed in my opinion.
The premise was quite promising but the execution was not what i was waiting.
Anyway i hope for a sequel, because there is no way it ends there, right?

- Many unresolved issues.
- The forbidden element was very good.

I didn't like it. I wasn't sure what I was expecting but this was not it. I just found the entire thing plain wrong. There was no romance, pure love and forcefulness and hate. An 18 year old girl left in the care of a selfish, rich and just plain dislikeable stepbrother who is a known playboy and who locks her in his appartment, takes all her clothes and wants her to submit to him. Honestly it felt forced.

While i was reading this one, i kept getting the creepy feeling.

Starts slow but builds
This story started slow and a little, well maybe kind of strange. Like, wouldn't the kids of the people getting married have at least met before the parents leave on their honeymoon? Also, if this is the dad's apartment, how weird is it that it has that whole lock down panel that even controls water and appliances? I thought only serial killers had those. I wonder if the stepmother had planned all along to have his way with the new stepdaughter, and if he did, when did he see her? So, if you suspend logic, as I often like to do, what follows is a really hot cat and mouse game. It was worth reading, and I recommend it with the above stated questions.

So I am giving this a short story this rating because the whole story just didn’t sit right with me. There was a lot of sexual tension but the sex scene was pretty much rape. I would like to say that it wasn’t, but he pretty much pushed her into it. He stole her clothes and phone. Then he locked her in a room when she didn’t obey him. I didn’t like either of their personalities and he left a bad taste in my mouth (no pun intended). On top of that, the male, of course, has some sort of dark secret. Give me a break.

Erm really. All I'm going to really say about this book is. IS THAT IT. Trust me I've read plenty of short stories but none as confusing or quite annoying as this. Not something I will ever read again, usually I keep books on my iPad to read again but this went straight to the DELETE pile so for anyone going to read this then GOOD LUCK.

I read the whole series.It's too short and there is no enough details of anything that happened.Like Why Lex is like the way he is.,He didn't show even a tiny interest towards Amie at first.Their break up,Sudden appearance of Phoebe,the reason why Lorreta adopted Amie and how lex came to know about that,the list goes on.This could have turned out a very good series if more details given

Really great for a short read. I'm glad I got the whole series. Did not take much time to read all of them. I enjoyed the sexual play and the banter between Lex and Amiee. I would not mind rereading this series just because it was enjoyable. I would highly recommend this erotic series.
