I found this book to be extremely enjoyable!

Even though I've been blogging about books for almost two years, I have to admit that my posts don't go beyond reviews, promos and cover reveals. I don't typically talk about other book related items. But this book made me want to. The premise of the book was that a book blogger was chosen to be the exclusive reporter/blogger about the latest book turned movie. She got complete access to the set, actors and such. And she got to blog about the making of the movie. And that got me to thinking about what being in that position would be like, and what book I would want to cover and what actor I would want to play the lead roll. It also made it really clear that I had no idea what book I would choose or what actor. But I loved that this book made me stop and think about that. (And just an FYI, I would love it if I got chosen to blog about a book being made into a movie!)

So I loved Farrow's love and enthusiasm for books and blogging. She was like an instant bff. I also loved the friendship that developed between Kasen and Farrow. I'll admit that I wish there had book a little more of that. I'm not unhappy with the speed of their relationship, but I loved the friendship/flirtation that was going on so much that I wanted more.

Typically I love dual POV books but for me, the dual POV detracted from the story. Kasen's personality was one way in the beginning, but when they went to visit his mother during a holiday and we got his POV for the first time, there was a change in him. It wasn't horrible but it was different from the guy we met in the beginning.

Overall, I found this to be really enjoyable and would definitely read more from the author in the future.

The chance of a lifetime. That's what it was and, it evolved into the love of a lifetime. Keystrokes is a dazzling read with love and laughter. It's the story of Farrow, the book blogger and Kasen Wells, the Hollywood Hottie. Farrow enters a contest which leads her to the set of "Dirty," getting the exclusive inside look of a novel-turned movie, that hit the media by storm. This is where she meets Kasen, mutually falling hard and fast. A relationship with the Hollywood Star has it's drawbacks, though. Especially when being in the limelight is the last place he wants to be, and Farrow is just getting a taste for it.

I was first given a taste of this novel back in May, my excitement has been building, and I'm so pleased to say that I wasn't let down, either. Lisa Marie has written a sweet and honest story for us, straight out of a fairy tale. Farrow's goal was to become successful in life without the help of a man. This becomes the one barrier between her and Kasen, who wants to step back from his stardom and is ready to settle down in life, with the one woman that makes him happy. We follow them through some major life events, and the support they show each other was fantastic. They were two characters in sync with each other, making the whole story that much easier to read in one sitting (yes, I said one sitting...). I loved it. I can safely say this will be a book that I re-read when I need a lift.

Keri

Now what to say since Keri has said it all. Keri was the one who introduced me to Lisa Marie, Kasen and Farrow. After months of following teasers and posts I was so excited to sit down and read Keystrokes. Trust me when I say I wasn't disappointed. I loved the relationship between Farrow and Kasen. I felt it was as real as a fictional relationship could be. Although the relationship is tested a few times throughout the book our characters find their way back to each other showing just how true their love is and that they are willing to fight for it. The supporting characters helped the story along creating a wonderful read that I am so glad I got to experience. Lisa Marie you did a wonderful job on your debut novel. xo

I absolutely fell in love with Kasen, and Farrow. Who knew a “normal” book blogging girl could be swept off her feet by a celebrity?!
Kasen, Kasen, Kasen! Just oh my WOWs! We will get more to that in just a sex.. second.
Farrow, just an ordinary girl in the book blogging world, who won a chance to be the exclusive reporter and or blogger of a book made into a movie. How awesome would that be!? (insert day-dreaming here) She has access for the behind-the-scene footage, well the ones she could go to, and she got to meet a lot of celebrities. She got to the see the world of Hollywood, and their endless days or nights.
I loved Farrow’s ambitions, her character, and the way she is independent. I loved the corkiness, the flirting, and the friendship that formed between Kasen and Farrow. A lot of moments I was beyond smiling.
Kasen, such a sweet soul. I loved it when they went to see his mom, you could feel the love through the pages. At times during the book I wanted to hurt him, like maybe punch him in the arm, but hey.. I can just say -ugh, men!- but overall he is a romantic, and who doesn’t love that?
If you are looking for a sweet, easy, humor, and some romance then I would say try this book out! I have found another author that I love ❤ Maybe you will love the book just as much as I did…

Farrow is offered the position of official blogger for the movie adaption of 'Dirty' by Entertainment Insider - to sweeten the deal she gets to meet her all-time biggest crush Kasen Wells. At first starstruck by Kasen, she comes to value his friendship, but as their feelings grow stronger, they find that they want different things. Can a simple book blogger and a movie star ever find happiness? This book set a cracking pace with easy to relate to characters. A bit of humor, some sexy scenes and a ton of romance to sweeten the deal - what more could you ask for? A brilliant debut from this new author.

I wish they had a top 10 list for Debut Novels, this would definitely be there. This book was very well written. I laughed, chuckled, and got choked up a few times. Kasen Wells my new Book Boy Friend. He is the sweetest, most loving and caring man. He will do any thing for the women he loves. Oh Yes and he is HOT HOT HOT. Farrow, wanting to make it on her own, she has to make it on her own, has to decide what is more important. Find out if they make it, well in all good love stories, don't the usually? This book is MORE than worth finding how they make through all of the ups and downs. You wont be disappointed.

Wow where to start. I absolutely loved this book. Kasen is up there in my favorite BBF of all time, he is defiantly my favorite of 2014. Kasen was totally swoonworthy.
And this story line, who hasn't thought about what it would be like to meet your favorite book boyfriend in real life. I still can't believe this was a debut. lt has the perfect mix of humor, sex and emotion. I will be looking forward to anything Lisa writes.

I really liked this story. It was fast paced enough to keep my attention from the beginning to the end. It gave me a different perspective of how it is to be a celebrity. It really made me think about the way that they have no privacy and are just trying to be a normal person.

I loved the story line and the characters in this book. It was well written and kept me turning the pages to find out what would happen next.

I would say it is definitely worth the read :)

Woot this story was incredible, I didn't want to put it down.

From the beginning to the end I had a smile on my face for Kasen and Farrow.

Kasen is cast in a movie based off of a hot as hell novel. Gorgeous and wanted by many, yet he's not all about the fame.

Farrow is a book blogger who is given an amazing opportunity to follow the movie as its produced.

These two have a crazy chemistry and take you on a wild ride.

Loved it...job well done!!!

Great read if....you enjoy romance novels, romance stories, movie stars, falling in love, drama, and a HEA!

Side Note: This book was fun and light and an easy read. It had some hot moments and makes a perfect addition to any romance readers library. Kasen was dreamy and the heartthrob that we all dream about growing up, except much better in real life. It was quick but still enjoyable.

Book review blogger Farrow Connoley wins the chance of a lifetime to be the exclusive behind the scenes blogger during the production of the book-turned-movie Dirty. She gets to meet Kasen Wells, a young, hot actor she’s been drooling over. Kasen is down to Earth and immediately takes Farrow under his wing on the set, and then they begin spending time together off-set.

Thanks to Farrow’s outstanding blogging, she is offered a full-time blogging position. It’s her dream come true, and she can’t wait to move to LA to fulfill her contract. But Kasen doesn’t like the limelight and plans to move home to North Carolina once filming is over. Despite being in love, the two will have to find a way to compromise if they want to make their relationship work.

Keystrokes started out with what I thought was going to be an adorable plot. I typically love Hollywood romances and watching someone live out a fairy tale. I liked Farrow’s sarcasm in the beginning. But there were too many problems with this story, and I ended up not enjoying it very much.

Starting with the plot, it went from unbelievable to summarized, and from there it jumped around too much. Kasen’s attraction to Farrow seemed to be entirely based on the fact that she didn’t scream when she recognized him at the airport. Yet she fangirled all over him every other chance she got. Totally unbelievable start to this romance. Their time getting to know each other was barely shown, with their first dinner together summed up in about a paragraph. It provided me with no opportunity to connect with their relationship. They were in love by their second date, which was less than a week after they met. Everything after that felt like the story just jumped from one thing to the next with no continuity. We find out suddenly that Farrow felt she had something to prove to her father and that she had to make it on her own, but there had never been any hinting about that in her characterization prior to her announcement. Someone was apparently stalking Farrow, but all we were told was that she had a few phone calls from an unknown number. The next thing we see, there were voicemails and emails from the stalker that were never mentioned previously.

Specifically related to their relationship, neither character spoke to the other about what they wanted after the movie shoot ended. Farrow went and signed a 5-year contract to live in LA, while Kasen bought a house for them in North Carolina. And neither seemed willing to compromise. There was no discussion. When Kasen came back, he was trying to convince Farrow to move to NC with him again, still not taking her concerns into consideration.

The editing of this book made me feel like I was reading someone’s first draft instead of a polished novel. There were tense changes, bad dialogue tags, unnatural dialogue, incorrect or missing punctuation, and even a sentence that cut off right in the middle. Several times there were sentences that repeated the same phrases. Some chapter breaks were missing, among other incorrect formatting. During the wedding scene, the wrong name was used at one point.

The story started off in first person, in Farrow’s point of view. Every so often, her blog posts would be included. About forty percent through, it switched to Kasen’s point of view. From there, it switched back and forth randomly, and the blog posts were nearly abandoned.

Overall, I didn’t enjoy this story and had to force myself to finish reading it.

**Taken from my book blog at http://booknerd0116.blogspot.com/2015... **

Keystrokes, written by Lisa Marie, is a cute story about an awesome blogger named Farrow who wins the dream of a lifetime (that dream that many other little ol' bloggers like myself fantasize about) when she's chosen to meet and interview the lead actor who is going to portray her fictional book boyfriend in a movie being made from the book. I mean, who among us hasn't dreamed of this same scenario?

Farrow is a smart, witty, young gal and has no idea that the guy she's about to meet has been waiting around for someone just like her! Kasen, the hottest celeb with all the buzz around him, is really just an average guy who got lucky enough to be discovered a few years prior. He really is a bit tired of the celeb life and wants to settle down with someone, someone like Farrow. He spends time dining with her, impressing her, making her fall head over heals for him. What happens when he's ready to exit the spotlight in Los Angeles though and Farrow gets the second biggest opportunity of her lifetime?

I enjoyed reading this debut novel by Marie, who calls herself an "accidental author." Well, for an author that wasn't supposed to be, I'd say she's well on her way to making a great career of it. Although, I could tell this was a first novel, she did a grand job at developing her characters, and creating an interesting and thoroughly enjoyable story. The only thing I didn't care for was how quickly the characters hit it off and "fell in love." It seemed exceedingly fast, even for a romance novel. I think taking some time for them to develop more of a relationship, or a friendship of sorts, would've made the story a bit more believable for me.

All in all, Keystrokes is a fun, very likable story and a great first effort by Marie. With three more novels due out in 2015, I'm looking forward to reading and reviewing more by this promising author.

I was given an ARC book for an honest review free of persuasion from the author or anyone else affiliated with this book.
WARNING: CONTAINS MATURE AND ADULT CONTENT ALSO CONTAINS SOME SPOILERS
This book is an excellent romance novel by Ms. Lisa Marie. I absolutely loved the story line!
In this story you meet Farrow. Farrow happens to be a book reviewer and blogger (like me). She has always loved to read and like for us, reading is an escape from real life for her. When she reads the book Dirty, she falls in love with the character Tate. She feels compelled to review it and give the author some love. This is her first book review and begins her life as an official book reviewer and blogger.
While reading the book, she fantasizes that her book boyfriend Tate is actor Kasen Wells. Let's just say boy does she fantasize..
Fast forward a few years. Farrow comes across a competition from Entertainer Insider asking for the first review of the book Dirty. She decides she wants to enter the competition with no expectation of winning. The winner is allowed to be on set of the movie taping of the book Dirty. The staring actor is Kasen Wells playing Tate from the book! What are the odds...Farrow wins!
Read this book to follow her star struck ride blogging the movie taping of Dirty.
How does she react when face to face with the real Kasen (as opposed to the fantasy one)? Does she develop a relationship with anyone? How does it feel for a blogger to get this kind of gift that changes her life?
Thank you Lisa Marie for a book that was so relate-able. This was a great book and I am looking forward to reading more!

This book had potential, it really did. Kesan was so sweet and Farrow was such a carefree character. There wasn't any real conflict in this story, even when they had a disagreement it wasn't as though they stopped being together.

What killed the mood for me was the pacing. There weren't any. Firstly, as a film student, there is no way in hell a movie can be filmed within two months especially with the amount of breaks this particular set is taking. Secondly, Kesan and Farrow barely knew each other and they have alr started confessing their love. Lastly, there was no indication on how much time has past. It could have been the writing style however, I didn't manage to connect with the characters well. I think the story was just too rushed, if more time and pages were used to establish the characters and the growth of their relationship then things would have flowed a lot better.

Sierra's character was a flop for me. It's like the author changed Sierra attitude towards Farrow because she suddenly realized Farrow didn't have any friends so Sierra conveniently became nice and friendly so the author didn't have to introduce someone else.

Kasen and Farrow are such a sweet couple, these characters were so charming that it was difficult not to love them.
Farrow is a book blogger who just happens to have the best luck ever! She won a chance to get exclusive behind the scenes footage and interviews for a book that is being made into a movie. She gets to meet the celebrities portraying the characters and experience the world of Hollywood.
Farrow was such a charismatic character, her easy going and amusing personality allowed people to like her immediately, well at least most people.
Kasen, is a down to earth actor who comes from a small town and loves his mother unconditionally. He has such a beautiful personality he cares so deeply, such a romantic and sexy man no wonder every woman is drawn to him.
I loved the relationship they formed right from the beginning he didn’t make Kasen feel like an outsider, their easy banter and interactions were adorable.
Great easy read!

Farrow is a blogger, a book lover with characteristics similar to the rest of us out here "in the real world." Kasen Wells is an actor. A hot celebrity worthy of fangirl squeals, and he just happens to be playing the lead in a movie based off Farrow's favorite book. But there is more to Kasen than just a hot body and beautiful face. He definitely made me swoon -a few times. And I loved Farrow!

Lisa Marie has a sense of humor, along with an understanding of blogging & comprehension of the way a book can truly touch readers -even when others don't get that. This book will make you laugh, make you cry, make you swoon, & make you rejoice. It's a love story mixed with laughter, that opens the door to the imagination, and teaches a very important lesson. The lesson being: never judge a book by it's cover.

I really enjoyed the story of Kasen and Farrow. It was a feel good read. Kasen is such a sweetheart and definitely loves his lady whole heartedly. Farrow is a sweet girl and with just the right amount of sassy with a job I would love to have!
Farrow is a book blogger and gets the opportunity of a lifetime to be the blogger for a book turned into movie project. Which coincidentally happens to be her favorite starring with the actor she pictures as the leading male character. When she meets Kasen in person she gets more then she hoped for as their story unfolds. I don't want to give away any spoilers but I do have to say I would definitely recommend this book to anyone looking for a sweet loving couple and a HEA.

I loved this book, it is fast paced, funny, witty, romantic, sexy. The characters are very real and well developed. Kasen is just fantastic, he is sexy, good looking, hardworking, famous but incredibly down to earth, looking for a down to earth girl to share his life. Farrow is pretty, hardworking, shy with a bit of baggage but happy and very positive, she's just an ordinary girl. She wins a competition to be the official blogger for the most anticipated film of the year and Kasen is the leading actor. Kasen and Farrow's relationship is beautiful to watch unfold and develop. I loved every written word of this brilliant story.

This was the first book I have read by this Author and was given this free in exchange for a honest review, the story intrigued me and I felt drawn into the reluctant star and his dislike for attention. The shy girl with a talent for writing a blog where she can be her true self. The story is a true love story by any one standards, well written and certainly pulls you in with little surprises from the fun loving Kasen and a story that keeps you turning those pages, it has all you need to make you fall for the characters depth a good plot and heartaches and a happy ending .

Gifted a copy in exchange for honest review:

This book gave me a new appreciation for books about "stars". It is almost like a star turns "fan" of the blogger who wins the opportunity of a lifetime by getting to be the exclusive blogger during the making of a movie. Instead of the hype that goes with most stars the lead actor (handsome megastar Kasen Wells) is made to appear like a normal person who just happens to star in movies. Great development of the plot and looking forward to seeing what the next book has to offer the readers.

I absolutely loved reading Keystrokes by Lisa Marie. It was a great story about finding love in the most unexpected places. I loved reading about Farrow and how all of her dreams come true with one entry into a contest. I loved reading about how her and Kasen easily fell in love. This was a great book. Lisa Marie makes you fall in love with the characters and make you want to see the best happen to them. I can't wait to read more of Farrow and Kasen's story.
