This book is a fascinating and rather gruesome look at the two notorious murderers, Burke and Hare.
When a boarder in their lodging house dies, Burke and Hare decide to sell the body to the medical school for dissection. Happy with the money they receive, they decide to give nature a bit of a helping hand by smothering their victims.
Well researched and easy to read recommended for true crime fans and history buffs.
