Jenny Collins is convinced she’s more likely to find Bigfoot in the middle of downtown Boston than have a decent romp in the sack. She’s starting to wonder if maybe all the lackluster love making has more to do with her than she’s been willing to admit. Her days are spent drudging away in a male driven career where the best she can do is apologize for existing as she inches her way up the ladder. Just as she’s about to throw in the towel, a chance encounter with a captivating stranger has her holding onto the hope that her thirst for passion may be quenched.
The only problem is the stranger, Harrison Burke, turns out to be a colleague. Sleeping with him would be highly unethical and probably illegal, which only seems to make her want him more. After Harrison convinces Jenny that nothing will ever change in her life unless she learns to take what she wants, she jumps head first into a sea of unimaginable pleasure and lust. Will she be able to survive the storm that ensues or will she be so blinded by the frenzy of passion that she doesn’t even see it coming?
**This book contains sexual scenes and situations not suitable for readers under 18**
I enjoyed the whole book. it was steamy and sexy. but I hated the ending. hated it. it ruined the whole book for me. I'd love to read book #2 in hopes it all works out but I'm annoyed at the turn of events. I think I have to give it some time.
This the first book I've read by this author but OMG it won't be the last, LOVED IT, LOVED IT, LOVED IT But OMG what a cliffhanger, so can't wait to read more by DJ Stone
Book 1 was good but I'm annoyed that the heading said book 1 and 2 and there's no book 2. I feel deceived...I've looked for it everywhere. It's not available on amazon, I don't know if it was taken down or what but it seems unfair to suggest that there are 2 books when there's only one.
I put this down and took it back up I had to finish it, and am glad I did the only thing I regret is that I did not have the next book to go on to that kinda stinks for me l started to search for it but of course it's not out yet, one of the draw backs of reading a series.
Harrison was and is still a mystery to me he intrigues me very much he has poor Jenny in a spin poor girl smashed her car up ! I could tell he had some to hide and was keeping her from finishing that job that he is supposed to be doing, I figured he had something to do with those photos immediately. I cannot wait for the second book in this series. I thoroughly enjoyed Harrison and Jenny.
I am in so much suspense as to who Harrison works for and why he is trying to sabotage Jenny work and got her fired hmmmm real steamy in between the suspense and intrigue just my kinda of book.
Harrison is obviously in deep for Jenny and I cannot understand why he lied to her that he was in Hawaii on vacation with another woman smdh hurry up and get me number two please.
Stone & Raj did a great job with this book, I strongly recommend that you read this if you like steamy and intrigue, you will enjoy it just as I do. ,, ....
This book is incredible! Loved the storyline, which I think we can ALL learn from...if you want something TAKE IT (no, not steal but push for what YOU want in every aspect of your life, because YOU deserve it). Read the story for yourself and find out what I'm talking about!
Loved the characters of Jenny and Harrison. The details and flow of the story were so perfect.
This story is filled with a bit of everything you want in a story: laughter, sexiness, hotness, sweetness, anger, sadness, and attitude (not in a bad way)!! Gripping and you won't be able to put this book down once you start reading. This is the start of an amazing journey I'm sure...ready for more and to see what's next in store!!
You will LOVE this story. I even learned something from it!! Highly recommend and look forward to many more from these authors. Kudos for an awesome read!!
This book was more than I expected. It was hot, it was sweet and then it was keeping you at the edge of your seat because nothing was going as planned. Jenny needed to make some changes in her life. Everything was all about work, and no play. But that soon changes. Harrison is a take charge kind of guy, and when he meets Jenny things get hawt and heavy fast. When he realized things are changing and going in a direction he wasn't planning he needs to re-evaluate. Driving home from Harrison's late one night, the fog rolled in and everything changed. Life as Jenny knew it was no more. Will Jenny and Harrison make it through this? Or will this last change be what she needs? Take It has a little something for everyone. I couldn't stop reading this and I hope that DJ Stone continues and make this a series with some of the supporting characters.
Jenny has a job she likes in a field mostly run by men. She loves the work she does, just not that she has to work twice as hard as any man. Work gives her little time for romance and the men she does meet leaves her sexually unsatisfied. She meets Harrison at a coffee shop and immediately feels something for him. They meet up again in her office building, only to discover he is their new client. Things get all hot and sweaty pretty fast! Authors DJ Stone and B.E. Raj have written a wonderfully, hot and sex book!
This book is a short easy read and one that you won't put down once you have started it. The characters are well developed and you take each up and down along with Jenny. The sex scenes are detailed enough to be descriptive but not in a trashy or pornographic way. Although I wasn't at first willing to pay for part 2 and 3 now I don't know how I couldn't. The cliff hanger leaves you wanting more and to know what Harrison is hiding and what is really going on. This is a must read!
Jenny is a woman who knew what she wanted and how to get it, until she bumped into Harrison. He changed how she thought about things. Was it for the best and what is he up too.? Will she figure it out before it is too late?
This is not normal HEA story. Loved the plot twist. Is Jenny that gullible or is Harrison just a completes-hole? Read the story and come up with your own opinion. Now on to the next book to see what happens.
I f**king knew it! About 60% of the way in something clicked that he was a douchbag. I think I knew when he questioned her about forming the test group and panel. If "US" was all they said it was he would have been thrilled, not run away and try to find ways to keep her out of the office.

I can not stand to read a “Part One Book” buy another Book for “Part Two Book”, and still another “Part Three Book” ! Write A book not continue writing a portion at a time, that is ripping off your readers!
I enjoyed this book & yes, It is quite spicy. It is a cliffhanger that leaves you wanting Part 2! I so badly want there to be a crazy explanation for Harrison and his behavior....
I would have rated this higher, however, the other books in the series can't be purchased. This book ends on a cliffhanger and I have no idea how the story ends. Very disappointed!
