One Bridge. Five Strangers. A Christmas Eve That Changes Everything.

On a bridge suspended above the Willamette River, five lives collide for a journey through hope and hardship in a suspenseful, heartwarming tale of courage, connection, and the magic of second chances.

Sergeant Archer Raines has worked every holiday all year for one reason: to finally spend Christmas with his wife. But when a desperate man threatens to jump from Portland’s St. Johns Bridge, Archer’s expert negotiation skills are required to defuse the situation.

Rosalee, a high-powered accountant and mom-to-be, only meant to swing by home for a forgotten phone and client file. Then her car is caught in the chaos on the bridge, she unexpectedly goes into labor, and her carefully planned world begins to unravel amidst the unfolding drama.

Exhausted nurse Nova just wants to make it home for Christmas after too many night shifts. When the pileup halts traffic and Rosalee’s baby is on the way, Nova puts her own plans on hold to help a stranger in need.

Carter, the owner of a busy tow truck business, regrets taking the call to clear the multi-car collision off the bridge. He’d intended to spend the day tackling last-minute holiday errands. Instead, he’s praying the lunatic pointing a gun at him doesn’t pull the trigger.

Fresh out of college and anxious to kick-start his career, Ian’s running late when his car won't start the morning of his big interview. His rideshare driver turns out to be a captivating girl with a penchant for aggressive driving that narrowly saves them from being part of the wreck on the bridge, sending Ian on an unexpected path of his own.

The Bridge is the perfect uplifting holiday read and a story of how one frozen moment can thaw even the loneliest of hearts.

This is a beautifully written, entertaining holiday romance novel. It has wonderful characters, an engaging story, an unexpected twist, and a gratifying conclusion. The narrator, Mr. Luke Andreen, who has a captivating voice, does an outstanding job. I learned of this delightful story as a subscriber to Ms. Hatfield's newsletter. This is my honest opinion.

Multiple lives intersect because of an accident on a bridge, leaving everyone hoping for a Christmas miracle.

The story started out introducing us to the various main characters and gave us a very good idea of their lives and personalities. More details about each one were slowly revealed, which all seemed so benign, but I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop. As events unfolded, I had my suspicions about the situation, but the ending was still a super wow moment. The connections between everyone were just so special.

It was emotional and tense, with a heartwarming wind down towards the end. The Christmas spirit was well represented, with love and hope and family at the center of it all.

I can recommend this book if you like inspirational stories about regular people and their reactions in the face of adversity. It is told in the third person, changing the viewpoint between the main characters. Not a romance, though there was a sweet relationship starting up and the book did have a happy ending.

Thank you to the author for providing me with a copy. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

The Bridge by Shanna Hatfield is a compelling Christmas story.

How will one man's actions affect the lives of those on the bridge on Christmas Eve?

On Christmas Eve, amidst the rush and chaos of the holiday, we see how one man's decision affects everyone, even those he doesn't know. Ms. Hatfield weaves a story based on the St John's Bridge in Portland, Oregon. She shows us how precious life is and how intertwined our lives are, even with strangers whom we see but may not recognize daily.

It starts with a man down on his luck, who has lost all hope, a police negotiator, a nurse, an accountant, a couple of tow truck drivers, a ride share driver, and a young man trying to get to an interview. They don't know this, but their lives will be forever intermingled after this Christmas Eve. This is a different type of story than I am used to reading by Ms. Hatfield. However, I truly enjoyed the mix of suspense with her positivity and holiday spirit. She truly demonstrates that the human spirit is rooted in hope and a willingness to help others in need.

Five Stars
My rating for The Bridge by Shanna Hatfield is five stars. This is a fantastic story that unfolds over a twenty-four-hour period. Yet, it is wrapped up nicely with all the love and wonder of a Christmas holiday. If you are looking for an inspiring, suspenseful holiday story, I recommend this one.

Ms. Hatfield includes a recipe at the end for a Peppermint Lush holiday dessert. I am so looking forward to trying this one this holiday season.

Thank you for dropping by! I hope you enjoyed this review of The Bridge by Shanna Hatfield.

Until the next time,

The bridge is a Remarkably different story from what the author generally writes and what an amazing story it is! This book is difficult to explain without delving into multiple spoilers. Yes, there is a romance in here, but it is parallel because there is so much more going on. It is the intertwining of five major participants with a small supporting cast. There is full throttle suspense, urgency, and some miraculous coincidences throughout. The author sets the table early on and this reader could not put the book down! As is the case with the author, there is no profanity, no sexual innuendos, and the story is wholesome enough for young adult readers as well. It is my opinion that this exceptional book would make an amazing motion picture! Two thumbs up!

The story is set on Christmas Eve Day. The story opens with a jumper on a bridge suspended above the Willamette River. The man drives his truck pulling a camper onto the bridge then swerves it across all four lanes of traffic, causing several cars to crash into it and a major traffic jam. Although Sergeant Archer Raines has been promised the holidays off to be with his wife, he is called in to talk the jumper down. Meanwhile, Rosalee, a high-powered accountant and mom-to-be, decides to rush home to pick up her phone and a file. She is caught on the bridge and goes into labour. Fortunately, Nova Alexander, a nurse on her way home, is behind her on the bridge and is allowed to leave the jam and get her to the hospital. Nova stays with her until they can locate her husband and get him to the hospital. Nova's husband, Carter, is a tow truck company owner, and takes the call to come to the bridge to clear out the cars and the truck and camper. He would rather be home getting ready for Christmas, but agrees and brings his right hand man with him. Meanwhile, Nova and Carter's son has an interview for a job in the field he just got his degree in, mechanical engineering. His jeep won't stop so he calls a ride service and is picked up by "K" a woman who could be an Indy driver. All 5 of these people will have a major change in their lives on this day, all because of what happens on the bridge.

I really enjoyed this book. I was on the edge of my seat one minute, and hoping for a good outcome the next. With different storylines happening, I knew they would eventually come together, but I didn't know when or how. I was so worried for Rosalee, when she couldn't reach Rob. I wondered if he had been one of the cars in the initial accident. Ian was really struggling to try and find a job and make a difference in the world, but there seemed to be some intervention to his actions that day. He was my favourite character. I loved his attitude, his chivalry, kindness and ingenuity. I wanted all the good things for him. Nova was another wonderful character. She was exhausted from her long hospital shift, but she refused to leave Rosalee in her time of need. Being a nurse she is caring and kind, but was totally selfless in her actions. Of course, Archer was the hero in the story. Dealing with someone who wants to kill themselves, not sure if they have a weapon or not and probably mental health issues, he never stopped trying. His compassion was the one thing that kept Leon talking and not jumping. To find out what happens, you will need to read this one. It is Christian fiction and faith is a big part of the story, but with it set on Christmas Eve, it is a perfect fit. I want to thank Shanna Hatfield for the opportunity to read The Bridge.

Wow! The Bridge by Shanna Hatfield played out like a movie in my mind as I read – and I couldn’t put it down. There’s much I want to say about this story but also much I don’t want to spoil for you so, suffice it to say, it’s got a little bit of romance (which I enjoyed), a little bit of suspense (which I also enjoyed), and a lot of unexpected twists (which I loved). Hatfield’s writing voice immediately engages readers and propels the story forward at a steady pace, laying out the individual pieces to a greater puzzle, the finished picture staying just out of reach until all the elements are brought together in a heartwarming – and deeply satisfying – finale.

The Bridge masterfully follows several characters through a chaotic Christmas Eve, all starting out their day with one plan in mind and finishing their day very differently than they intended, thanks to a multi-car collision on the St. John’s Bridge that connects their very different paths in surprising ways. A police sergeant brought in on his day off to try & talk a troubled man out of jumping off the bridge. An exhausted nurse on her way home to celebrate Christmas with her family after working several night shifts. A pregnant accountant who goes into labor much sooner than expected… while stuck on the bridge. A tow truck driver clearing the bridge of the damaged vehicles even though he’d intended to leave work early for holiday errands. A recent college grad trusting a captivating rideshare driver to get him to an important interview after his own vehicle won’t start.

To say that I became invested in each one of these focal characters – as well as the other (equally intriguing) people with whom their lives intersect – would be an understatement. The shift back and forth between these impacted lives, over the course of one day, contributed to the cinematic feel of the novel and merged their stories into a compelling collective that kept me engaged from beginning to end. Letting each storyline snap into focus at exactly the right moment, Hatfield makes it look effortless to juggle this many people in one novel, which subsequently makes it easy for readers to do the same. I started to suspect some of the connections as the story progressed but I wasn’t completely sure (I’d already been wrong once) and there were absolutely some stunners still in store for me!

Bottom Line: The Bridge by Shanna Hatfield is a highly-engaging, heartwarming Christmas drama you can’t walk away from, one where each storyline matters and each character has something at stake. Whether they know it or not. The pacing is perfectly timed, the tension builds beautifully, and by the time every thread pulls together, you realize you’ve been holding your breath in the best way. I loved the blending of suspense and urgency with the euphoria of new love and new life, but what gripped me most about this novel was the ordinary, everyday people whose choices and circumstances collided in ways they never saw coming. It could have been me on that bridge, just as easily as one of the focal characters we follow, and acknowledging that relatability helped me feel like I was living it right along with them. I came to care very much about several of them too, always eager to return to their perspectives, and I’m hoping there will be more opportunities to visit with them in future books. Perfect for fans of Colleen Coble or George Eliot and movies like Love, Actually or Valentine’s Day too!

This was a really good book. It follows five people's stories. I generally am not a huge fan of books that have multiple points of view going on at the same time. I can usually handle two, but anything beyond that, and it gets confusing. I will say that there were a few places where I was mildly confused for a time, but things came together really well in the end. It would not have been as good without the five points of view going on.

There are also some elements of "love at first sight," which is by far my least favorite romantic troupe. Somehow, though, it works in this book because it takes the angle of seeing beyond who the person is trying to portray and instead seeing who that persn really is.

I've read 80 books so far this year, and I'd put this one in my Top 3. It drew me in from the beginning, and it had me guessing the whole way. It is very much a story about how one decision can affect so many other people and how the small things in life can really change the bigger things. It makes sense in the book, but I can't explain it more without giving away parts of the plot.

This was a clean novel. I'm pretty sure there wasn't any swearing. There's no graphic sexual content or graphic violence. Without ruining the book, I will say that if you struggle reading books that talk about domestic violence or mental health issues, this might be a difficult book to read. It handles both in a very sensitive way, and the author does not go into graphic details about the domestic violence.

I would recommend this book. There were points in the book where I was sure that it wouldn't have a happy ending, but it did. The whole book takes place on Christmas Eve, and there are some elements of trusting in God. While it's not overly preachy, it's definitely a Christmas book with a religious audience in mind, if that makes sense.

I got a free ARC from BookSirens, and I left a voluntary review.

The Bridge is a novel about the ripple effect of one man's decision. Told from multiple POVS, readers will be immersed in this Christmas Eve setting book where the lives of five people intersect. Shanna Hatfield gives readers romance, suspense, and unexpected twists in this page-turning novel.

Sergeant Archer Raines is finally looking forward to a break from work. He has worked all the holidays and extra days to make sure that he is off to spend time with his wife during Christmas Eve and Christmas. But when he receives a call that he needed at Portland’s St. Johns Bridge to prevent a man from jumping off, he drops everything to use his negotiation skills to prevent a tragedy. That's when we begin to see how the man who is considering jumping, Leon, can affect so many lives. We meet Rosalee, an accountant who might be going into labor; Nova, a nurse; Carter, a man who runs a towing company; and Ian, a young man who is on his way to a job interview. Their lives all intersect on Christmas Eve, and it's so unique. I enjoy books that feature multiple POVs, and Shanna Hatfield made this flow so easily. I think every character had their 'time to shine' and allowed readers to get invested. I am so happy that I read Shanna Hatfield for the first time.

This was my first book by author Shanna Hatfield, but it won't be my last!! I love the cover, the colors, the bridge, the font - just everything about this one drew me in and the story then held my attention and didn't let it go!

The author weaves a tale that instantly hooks the reader! The character's are relatable, flawed and people that the reader want to become friends with in real life life. The plot was fast moving, the reader is on the edge of their seat trying to figure out what is going to happen next while at the same time not wanting the story to end. The overall vibe of the book gives the reader all of the feels and they can't help but connect to the theme, the good people in the world vibe and the overall feel of a community in the book.

There are some twists and turns throughout the story and the reader does guess some of them, but not all. There are also some unexpected moments that the reader also needs to take a minute to process. This was such a feel good, heartwarming story and I can't wait to see what the author does next! I loved this one and may have just found a new favorite author!

Don't hesitate to add this one to your TBR list and move it up to the top! A must read and a must read now!

I want to start by saying I received an ARC of this book. This is a clean holiday (Christmas) fiction book. This book is different than any I have read before so this review may be a little different than my normal ones. This story revolves around a bridge and five strangers on Christmas Eve. We have Sergeant Archer who is called to go to the bridge to try and talk someone from jumping. We have Rosalee who is a mother to be who was only wanting to grab something from home. Then we have Nova who is a nurse who just wants to go home. We also have Carter who is a tow truck driver who was only wanting to run errands but ends up at the bridge to tow cars. Then we have Ian who is in a rideshare on his way to an interview. When an accident on the bridge causes a multi-car collision what will they do? Will they all make it out safe? When Rosalee goes into labor what will she do? Will the person who wanted to jump from the bridge jump? Will everyone make it home in time for Christmas? This book was very interesting to me as it shows five strangers stranded on a bridge on Christmas Eve with a lot going on. This book to me shows that God puts people in your life for a reason. He puts people in a certain place at a certain time for a reason. Overall, I enjoyed this book.

This is a delightful novel, one I thoroughly enjoyed. Hatfield explores a number of themes in it. One is how the actions of one person can affect the lives of so many others. Another is how many people help others, even when complete strangers, and even when they are weary and just want to go home and rest. It was so rewarding to see how the lives intersect, coming together to a rewarding and touching conclusion. There were some twists and surprises that made the novel more meaningful in the end, showing how the lives intersect.

Hatfield's writing style is engaging and this is a heartwarming novel to read during the fall and winter holidays. She has included questions at the end for reflection or discussion, making this a good novel for a book discussion group. The only thing I did not like was the use of nicknames, hiding the actual identity of some characters until a later time. It did make for an emotional and rewarding finish to the novel, however. Have a box of tissues near as you may need it as you finish this touching novel.

I received a complimentary egalley of this book through BookSirens. My comments are an independent and honest review.

I enjoyed this story of giving and caring about others during Christmas!
It is Christmas Eve and Police Sergeant Archer Raines, with the Portland Police Bureau, is looking to enjoy a nice holiday with his wife. However, that morning he is called to the St. John’s Bridge to handle a situation with Leon Mumford, 42 years of age, who is suicidal and possibly armed. Leon’s divorce was final six months ago, his ex-wife Tiffany won’t let him have his two children for Christmas, and seven weeks ago he lost the job he’d had for sixteen years. Archer’s job is to talk Leon down from the bridge, so that he doesn’t take his own life.
The chaos Leon causes on the bridge affects five people and determines what happens to those people in the next twenty-four hours. As the story begins to unfold, readers may be trying to figure out how these characters relate to each other. As the story draws to a close, the reader will learn how and why the story unfolds and ends as it does.
This uplifting story is one of love, hope, and caring about others even though they may be strangers. A recommended read for the holiday season!

Many lives intertwine on the St. John's Bridge

I loved this story told from the viewpoints of many people who were on or near the St. John's Bridge in Portland, Oregon during an accident caused by a very troubled man.

There's a pregnant accountant, a nurse, a young man headed to a job interview, the troubled man wielding a gun, the police sergeant trying to talk him off the bridge...and more.

It was fun reading the story and trying to figure out who belonged together and finding out at the end whether you were right.

There was a budding romance in the story which was very...not cute...but wonderful.

There was a psychological thriller right in the middle of the bridge which was scary and sad at the same time.

So, all in all, set on Christmas Eve with baby born...check.
Romance...check.
Some gore...check.
Psychological thriller... check.
Multiple viewpoints... check.

Excellent story...double check.

It is Christmas Eve morning when Portland Police Bureau Sergeant Archer Raines is called to the St. Johns Bridge to try to stop a man from jumping. The story of how the incident and subsequent closure of the bridge affects and intersects the lives of Archer and four others is told in alternating chapters.

Rosalee is an accountant expecting her first baby in January.
Nova is a registered nurse at Lennox Medical Center.
Carter is the owner of a towing company.
Ian is a mechanical engineer headed to a job interview.

The Bridge is a holiday read different from what Shanna Hatfield usually writes. She states it is still sweet and wholesome, but there is some suspense, mystery, drama, and a little thriller aspect to it. I'm spoiled by her sweet romances, so I enjoyed the last fourth of the book the best. I did like Archer and the other characters and would enjoy learning more about them.

This is a wonderful Christmas Eve story that starts with an accident on a 4 lane bridge. A truck with a camper is across all 4 lanes and a man is at the railing of the bridge.

We meet the policeman that is tasked with talking this man off the railing and back onto the bridge. The story brings in the owner of the tow truck company and at least one of his employees. There's the young pregnant accountant that gets caught in the traffic and the nurse that comes to her aid. There's another what seems to be a sidestory of a recent mechanical engineering graduate on his way to a job interview. Each group has been affected by the decision made to cause this massive wreck. Those that help and interact with each group have a significant part in the overall story.

It is truly heartwarming even if keeping track of the various groups seems a bit crazy. You will find it very worthwhile to make the effort.

This was such a fun book, and although it was from 5 different perspectives, I never found it confusing in the slightest, everything was really clear.
I enjoyed trying to figure out the connections between the characters, and I really liked the receptionist side character, I just felt like I could read more about her and her life - the initially abrasive exterior, but very quick to warm up and be an absolute gem.

In terms of the story, it was really interesting to consider how one person's actions can have such a massive ripple effect on so many peoples' lives. Some effects are just a minor inconvenience, but for other people it can literally change their lives.
I think my favourite character was Nova, everyone needs a Nova in their life, and everyone should probably strive to be like her - so giving and generous with her time, you just know she'd give you a big hug if you met her in real life.

The Bridge is different from anything that I have read written by Shanna Hatfield before. However, it has her wonderful writing style of developing characters, their feelings and the situation where they find themselves. A man on a bridge about to jump, sounds like “It’s a Wonderful Life,” doesn’t it? Think again, this fascinating story never leaves the present or the lives that are affected because of this man’s actions. As the day goes on with the bridge closed, the intertwining and then the connections between five others is so uniquely special. There is mystery, drama, goodness, bonds formed, and the importance of the choices we make. All this is written in Ms. Hatfield’s signature wholesome style.

So I loved it, planning to re-read this story right at Christmas, just for the uplifting spirit that it gives. This is a keeper. The Bridge may be Shanna Hatfield’s best work yet. All should read.

This is an absolutely beautiful book about the power of hope and the theory of butterfly wings.

Remember the saying about how a butterfly flapping its wings causing changes elsewhere in the world? Similarly, several seemingly unrelated events result in life changes for many people. The title is because the majority of the story revolves around a crisis negotiator on a bridge talking down a potential suicidal man. But that’s far from the end here.

As the story continues, the kindness of humans shines through. The reader sees a job interview, a woman in labor, a receptionist an exhausted nurse, a tow truck driver and a ride share driver. None of these would ever have met on this Christmas Eve without the precipitating events, yet it all seems meant to be. So wonderful, you have to read this one!

Thanks to the author, publisher and NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review this book but my opinions are my own.

This was such an intriguing story of the ripple effect of one person's decisions and actions. As a tormented man causes chaos on a major bridge on Christmas Eve, we see the effects his actions have on several people. They are all unknowingly connected and as the day progresses, we see joy, hope, and love, but also fear and hopelessness. At the end of the day, the miracle of a new birth highlights the love and support of family as strangers become family and look to the future with hope and expectation. Shanna Hatfield creates such wonderful, believable characters that you feel you know them.

This is a clean story. A little romance, a little family and intersections of lives.

There are several people in this story. A lot of lives that were affected by one event. A man who caused a crash on the St. John's Bridge in Oregon and is threatening suicide. It's very interesting to see the intersections. I liked the stories and perspectives of the five people. To see how this one event affected their lives. I didn't want to stop reading and read it over two days, but only because I had to go to sleep and work the next day. Otherwise, I could have seen myself reading it front to back with no stopping. It was a really great read with a few twists and turns.

This was an intriguing look into how one person's action can have a ripple effect on multiple lives. The Bridge selects five people- Archer, Rosalee, Nova, Carter and Ian - to tell the story of how an accident on the St. John's Bridge effects their Christmas Eve. All the characters are well-rounded, related people who the reader can emphasize with as they watch the day unfold.

I enjoyed the rotating chapters that kept the story moving forward. I also found myself trying to figure out how the characters would fit together and was elated when most of my guesses were right. This is an interesting holiday story that will keep you turning the pages to find out what happens next.

This book is unlike any book I have read from Shanna Hatfield. It has vignettes of many different people from many different walks of life. They are united by their connection with The Bridge. It portrays how people’s lives intersect, and are interwoven, and new relationships are formed.

This story contains a bit of everything: romance, mystery, spiritual warfare, and personal relationships.

Though there is no overt mention of Christianity, there are many biblical principles portrayed: kindness to strangers, do unto others, strong work ethic, good attitudes rewarded, hospitality, and many others.

It’s Christmas Eve and what appears to be a series of random events intertwine the lives of a group of not so random people. Not to give away any spoilers, but I have to say I figured a couple connections out and was surprised completely by one in particular.
This book was told from each person’s perspective except for the man whose actions are the catalyst for our story. As the day progresses we see the interconnection between the different people and how they choose to respond to the situations they face despite the tragedy and chaos surrounding them.
It was a really good book, a bit different than Ms Hatfield’s usual genre, but well worth the read.

An absolutely terrific book that I could hardly put down. I felt so bad for Leon having to live with the issues that plagued his life and losing his family because of it. The mercy and grace of the Lord Jesus Christ was shown throughout this book in the way each person affected by, the consequences of Leon’s actions, worked together, helping one another and showing His love at Christmas. Some were strangers to one another and some were not but all were brought together by a common bond and purpose during a time that seemed hopeless but worked out for the good of all. I one hundred percent recommend this book. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this honest review voluntarily.

Multiple lives intersect because of an accident on a bridge leaving everyone hoping for a Christmas miracle. The story starts by introducing the readers to various main characters and gave us a very good idea of their lives and personalities. Much more details about each one unreveal slowly, all seemed so kind. I keeping waiting for the events to unfold, The connections between everyone was just so special, I had some suspicions about certain situations. The ending was a surprise moment.
If you enjoy emotional, tense that's heartwarming It's a Christian Fiction set on Christmas Eve perfect for the upcoming holiday.

Gripping story that I read in two days! I was lucky to have the time to devote to reading since I definitely did not want to put this story down. I looked up pictures of this bridge since I had not heard of it previously and those images were kept in my mind throughout the ordeal that took place on it. I don't think I would want to drive on this bridge, it looks very scary to me. It has four lanes (2 each way) and no center concrete divider to stop traffic from crossing into oncoming lanes. This fact absolutely plays into the story.

The author did a great job of plot development, molding the characters into people that I cared about and great setting descriptions. The plot was heartwarming, tense and very satisfying.

the story is well written. you read about the repercussions that happen when someone does something that affects other people, like the crash on the bridge. it was interesting to read about all the people affected by the crash. the people that where hurt, someone going to an interview, a lady trying to get home for a file , the nurse going home after working a night shift, the men who are there to collect the wreck cars and the police that have to work to stop the man from jumping. and all this on Christmas eve. could not put the book down. i was given a copy of the book but this is an honest review.

Great Christmas read,

A unique story of intertwining characters that turn out to be friends and more. I haven’t read a plot like this before and I enjoyed this one. Within its pages there is the joy of Christmas and the tragedy of human failures. New relationships are formed, old friendships are strengthened, and new life is shared. I don’t want to give any spoilers on the exact story, but it was well worth the time spent reading. Job well done by the author.

I received a complimentary copy from the author and these are my voluntary and honest opinions. I was not required to leave a positive review.

I loved this book so much! What a great book! It stayed with me long after I finished reading it. There is an accident on a bridge and our author filters through each person that is affected by it, and we weave back and forth among the lives of everyone. It's fascinating and intriguing. We enter the lives of a sergeant, a high powered accountant mom to be, a very busy caterer, an very tired nurse, a young man heading to an interview. Each person we meet, has a captivating side of the puzzle that you don't see coming. Each day, I couldn't wait to find time to get back to reading this book! Another wonderful story from our author, Shanna Hatfield. You will not want to miss this book!

The Bridge by Shanna Hatfield ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Trigger warning....

What a heart warming Christmas 🎄 Eve story. With a happily ever after ending. I thought I knew where the story was going but I was definitely wrong.

Lots of great characters all of which are essential in one way or another. It really does take a village....I loved all the characters and none more than the other.

I'm hoping for another book .. Ian's story. 🤞

I loved that Shanna shared facts (at the end of the book) that prompted the book's locations and events.

Pre-order your copy today for the Oct 7th release day. Then you can read it or wait till Christmas 🎄 Eve.
