Zoey Malone has always known she was in love with Alpha of the Panther Pride Kayden Lynn, she only wished he returned the feelings. It takes Zoey traveling to Las Vegas and meeting with Alpha Johnny Ringo for Kayden to wisen up and realize he is about to lose his true mate to another. It should be a smooth transition with mates but someone from the past is determined to keep them apart and Zoey's life is in danger.
Very good story. I thought Kayden was an intriguing alpha because he just didn't claim Zoey, he felt unworthy of her. Zoey is a delight, she is clever and has a way of commanding attention when things get out of hand. Can't wait for the next book in the series.

Not quite as the first
This book wasn't quite as dynamic as the first, but had it still kept you reading. It is a continuous storyline but with a different couple starting. Defeat one opponent and another arises. The characters still hold you intrigued as they develop along with the storyline, and I can't wait to see what happens next.

Second in series,i think they should be read in order to get the background. Lots of shifter alpha's living with their packs in one big city.Good storyline,hot love scenes,traitors among the packs, evil witches with a dragon thrown in.

wow the second book had more twist n turns

I have really no good words to say about this book but I will do my best to give a good review, first off let me say I suck when it comes to punctuation and grammar so I don't claim to know it all but when I catch a mistake you know it's bad! (LOL) This story is about Zoey and Kayden Lynn I have many major issues with all the three books I've read of this series and I will be revealing some spoilers so if you plan on reading all the these please do not read any farther!!!!
1. Rinse and Repeat the first part of the book is nothing but a repeat of the first book everything about alpha city and how alpha city came to be...all three books I've read are the same pretty much word for word and that drove me crazy!
2. I noticed the author writes stuff and has a tendency to forget what she wrote like for instance towards the end of this book Rose's sister is taken by Claudia Blackwood and they're talking about how she managed to do it she used a spell to make herself look like Rose and Rose says I would never wear that what is it a bohemian skirt? I'm not sure if that's word for word what she said but anyways in the next book at the very first paragraph they're doing a Repeat word for word of the last chapter of the previous book AGAIN and they're doing the part where they're talking about Claudia and Rose says I would never wear that what is it a Business Suit? I'm like you have got to be freaking kidding me!!! This is not the first time I've see slip ups like this in these books I mean on more then one occasion and it's so obvious it made me wonder how these authors get this stuff published cause if it's that easy maybe I need to try and write some romance novels because all this author did was repeat the same stuff over and over to fill the pages.
3. What is with these women!!! They're suppose to be some bad A$$ women when everyone at the first sign of trouble they run for the hills!! In the first book London took off to NY second book Zoey runs to Las Vegas and third Maggie just runs period LOL everytime u turn around she was running. I can't stand for these authors to try and make the heroin of the book out to be a bad a$$ but in the end they just make them obnoxious.
So to bring this to an end I did not like this book I read it because I paid $2.99 for it so I figured I might as well finish it and then it turned into a game for me to see how many issues I could find but when I got to book four and I saw the very first paragraph was that obvious mess up about the business suit I said I just can't do this LOL so I saved my money and quit so BEWARE save your money this series isn't worth the $2.99 you'll pay for it the story had good potential but the author didn't know what to do with it.

Independent Reviewer for Paranormal Romance and Authors That Rock.
This is the second book in the Alpha City series, and I have not read the first. I'll go into that more in a mo, but I think it would have helped me if I had done.
Zoey has had a crush on Jayden, the Panther Alpha in the city for, well, forever. And it appears the feeling is mutual, but Jayden's father made some pretty clear wishes before he left, and that was that Jayden mate within his own clan. Which meant Zoey was off limits, being a wolf. When Johnny, an Alpha Wolf from Vegas, stakes a claim on Zoey, and a witch with an axe to grind steps up her attack on Alpha City, Jayden AND Zoey have decisions to make.
I was captivated by this book. I loved that you get wolves, panthers, bears, witches, and even a vampire. Oh and dragon too! Its all very well written, and moves along at speed in places and much slower in others. Zoey and Jayden's feelings, thoughts and reactions all come across well, and clear, and even the nasty witch bitch has her say. I do love it when everyone gets a say, ya know?
There were some twists I did not see coming, and some laying out of future books, I think. One of the twists put the kibosh on what I thought might happen! I love it when a book throws ideas at you, only to have them dashed upon the rocks!
Like I said, this is the second book, and I have not read the first. There is an underlaying story that runs from that book, Obsessions, into this one, that is still not resolved, and I suspect it will run on for a couple of books. I did think I was missing some information, having not read the first, and that is reflected in my rating. MOST I got, recapped in this book, but I still felt that I missed something.
I should like to read Obsessions at some point, and also any future books in this series, I really enjoyed it, and the only reason it gets 4 fangs and not 5 is the (what I felt was) missing information from book one.

Book 2 finds us with Zoey' story and what a story this is. Zoey has loved Kayden the panther shifter all her life. Kayden is her brothers’ best friend. She does not have a clue as to why Kayden is keeping her at arms length but she finally decides to move on if she can. She goes off to Vegas to meet up with an Alpha concerning a game he wants built by her company and although the Alpha is really nice and does everything Zoey always dreamed a man doing she just isn't feeling it. Well who shows up? Yep you guessed it Kayden and he is now determined to stop listening to the rules his father laid down and fight for the love of his life.
The city is still fighting the wicked dark witch Claudia Blackwood and now that they took her daughter, it is a battle beyond proportions. It is a battle they must get prepared for. Are they prepared though for whom shows up after the children and Rose appear in the city? And he has news and everything they thought fairy tale is now a reality.
Enter many more paranormal beings. We get Dragons, Elves, and so much more and another Alpha named Judd has found he has a mate although he does not want her. He has a good reason for that and must now battle his own mind and emotions.
They are told that this battle will cause them to lose loved ones, as lives will be lost. And exactly who is the traitor?
The story line is picking up greatly in this book. The characters are finding love and heartache. Very intense.
I would have loved to have rated it 5 stars but it needs a grammar fix. It has missing words, and other grammar issues.

All Zoey ever wanted was Kayden, but he has ignored her for years and it's time to move on from her childhood crush. Going to Vegas to meet her client, an Alpha Wolf, things are finally looking up for her when he lavishes her with attention.
Kayden is an idiot he knows it and it's time for him to finally tell Zoey how he feels before it's too late. Or is it already?
Their love life is one piece of the crazy puzzle they are trying to firgure out, but when the evil witch come after Zoey again and again they realize bigger things are at work and must figure things out before those they care about lose their lives in the fight.
Ok so I read this as a standalone, and while it works very well that way I do think this is series to start from the beginning because while each book is about a different couple the story line itself come together as one continuous story.
Zoey is strong and self-assured in most things in her life but when it comes to love she's been beaten down so many times she's become very self conscious of herself and it'll take a very special man to help her bring her out of her shell.
Okay so we already figured out Kayden is a bit of a dummy but he's also very strong alpha male and when he finds something he wants it goes after it and won't let anyone stand in his way.
This story has a bit of everything paranormal wise and makes for an interesting read. There ar etimes I would have liked more details, but overall the story is quite enjoyable.

I was gifted this book by the author Bryce Evans for an honest review.
Wow, it was great reading Zoeys story.
I read the first book and Zoey has come such a long way from her college years.. From being the shy bullied girl to a strong successful and very sure of herself young woman.
London her BFF and her brother Ryder's mate, taught her to fight and stand up for herself and that is exactly what she did
Zoey and London have made a success of their business in Alpha City, but now Zoey has another problem. She has been in love with the Ryders BFF and Alpha of the Panther Shifters Kayden Lynn since she was a child. Only problem is Kayden has been raised to believe that he must mate one of his kind to keep the lineage, but does Kayden want to mate another panther, or does he want the little wolf Zoey?
Alpha City faces another threat, not only has the evil witch attempted to kill Zoey twice, but she has set free an even bigger evil than herself. Now all the Alpha's have to find the traitor among them and they also have to prepare for what is to come. They never thought it would come to this, but dark days may await them all.
Lots of action, treachery and passion in this riveting story of Alpha City!
Can't wait to continue reading the next book!

DAMN!! ANOTHER PASSIONATE, SEXY, STUBBORN PARANORMAL ROMANCE THAT I DID NOT WANT TO END STORY BY BRYCE EVANS!! I was SO excited to read Zoey's story, especially after reading Obsessions! I really liked Zoey and her wonderfully sprite personality. And I was very interested in Kayden's cool, calm personality and I couldn't wait to see how these two would turn out.
I was not disappointed in the least either. I loved the dark undertones of this paranormal series. I know I said this in my last review, but I can't believe I haven't read this series earlier. It is SO addicting! I love..and I mean LOVE how Miss Evans created this Alpha City and its occupants. And these romances sizzle like you wouldn't believe! And when Kayden finally gets his head out of his butt and stop fighting his desires with Zoey, Things become so passionate and sexy and just AMAZING, I was completely captivated and happy!
Cravings gets a SINFULLY DELICIOUS FIVE SHOOTING STARS! There isn't anything better or hotter than these Alpha City books. GIVE ME MORE!

She's been picked on all her life, and now has so little self confidence that until London helped her she just took what the bullies dished out. Now she's home and running her own business, but she still can't seem to catch Kayden Lynn's eye.

But his love for Zoey prevents him from looking to mate another female, even when his father is sending him women as potential mates. But when Zoey takes a business trip to Vegas and meets with the Alpha Johnny Ringo, Kayden is done fighting his attraction. It's time he claims his mate!

Zoey has loved Kayden forever. Seeing her best friend find her mate makes Zoey crave the same thing. While she knows she should move on, her heart only wants Kayden. Between meeting another alpha who wants her and threats at home, what’s a girl to do?
I liked this book. I liked watching Zoey and Kayden’s push/pull. Though I will admit, Kayden did irritated me a few times. This is the type of creative genius I would expect from a Bryce Evans book. Even when your hero is driving you crazy, you still want these crazy kids together.
Another part about this book that I liked but yet didn’t, was the dead of a character that I liked. I won’t spoil it but to me it happened so fast that my heart hurt afterwards. This is how you know you are readying a fantastic book when you literally feel heart heavy for a fictional character.

Love this story line in this series! Now, each book in the Alpha City series can be read as a standalone, but I, personally, think it's much more enjoyable in book order. Take myself, for example, I read Book 3 - Choices - first, then read the other two.
I was thrilled at the idea of Zoey and Kayden together. But more than once, I wanted to reach inside this book and slap some sense into Kayden. Loved the introduction of some of the new(er) characters. (Although Claudia and Jamal need a VERY painful ending. They are pure evil!) And I was saddened at the loss of another.
Now that Obessions, Cravings AND Choices are all read, I'm not so patiently waiting for the next Alpha City book. And if Johnny Ringo has his own book, I'm off to read that, if not, then I think Johnny needs his own book and HEA.

Zoey and Kayden are the perfect match if only they would see it for themselves. Even after Zoey proving herself to herself in book 1 Obsessions she is still skittish and shy but strong with her business sense. Kayden can be infuriating but lovable and hot. With this story there is a couple new elements that make the story come alive and really grab my attention. Still based in Alpha City with more shifters and witches moving in making it seem like chaos for a while. Kayden is strong and a good leader of his pride, he just needs to open his mind to getting the girl and finding that love he has deep down inside him.
Bryce Evans did an excellent job bringing this story alive and keeping me wanting for more. Can't wait for more from this author.
Bryce Evans did an excellent job bringing this story alive and keeping me wanting for more. Can't wait for more from this author.

I love this story when I.read the first one I was hooked too read what's the rest about.I like Zoey she's in love for years for Kayden Lynn Alpha of the panter pride and best friend of her brother but she thinks Kayden sees her as the little sister from his friend when she is going to Las Vegas and heard that she had a business appointment with another hot Alpha hè follows her after a hot night hè misunderstand Zoey and breaks her heart when she's in danger hè follows his heart and try too protect Zoey if you want to know the rest off the story you have to read it I recommend it and can't wait for the following part of the story

The goodness in their hearts
This is such an emotional story. The book is amazing the way the alphas worked together to get Zoey and her man to mated bliss. We met so many wonderful new friends and then bam! We lost one that can never be replaced. I’m still blown away at the unfairness of it and can’t see through my tears. I don’t know how the alphas will ever get beyond the lose. At least for me, I can read the next book and see if love will overcome the evil trying to break Alpha City. Don’t let this deter you from reading the book, the happiness is worth every drop of tears.

This story has it all. So many twists and turns keeps you turning pages till you realize you've finished it in one sitting. Zoey starts off as a women who is desperately trying to overcome years of self doubt while dealing with the ever present love she has for the stubborn Kayden. It's only when Kayden realizes he needs to act on his feelings for Zoey or risk losing her that things start to come together for the two. Add a dash of crazy witches and a sprinkle of strong alphas and you end up with another whirlwind story by Bryce Evans.

Great Series
Zoey is a beautiful and strong lady. She brings the best out of everyone, always making them smile. She's come a long way since book one and I think she's found herself and knows that she can face anything. Her relationship with Kayden is amazing and they are true soulmate their love completes them. This series is fun, engaging and action packed. I know you will love it and I can't wait for the next book.

Where obsession was fun and sexy with a hint of spooky This was scarey sexy and funny but scarey first. the STUFFING IS HITTING THE FAN. Yes it's funny as hell,sexy as hell and as with all of mrs evens books there will be moments where your going to throw the book down stomp around your house yelling at people who dont exist.

Great Read
I loved this story. The characters are very well developed. The sexual chemistry between the characters is great and well written. There is some graphic violence in this story. This story will make you laugh and cry. I hoping there is another soon and she didn't end this series With the huge cliffhanger that it is now.

Again, really like the story but this book seemed like it had too much going on. I felt that either it should have been longer or some of the side plots and characters should have been in a separate book. There were also many grammatical errors, less than the first book, but still enough to annoy. However, I did start book #3 because like I said, I am really enjoying the story.

Wow
This is book two, so much happens in this book, it does sort of leave a cliffhanger so you need to go on to book three, this was well done, the story continues to weave. The danger to Alpha city is immense. Loved the action and suspense in this story. I am anxious to read the next book. Zoey and Kayden, love is a beautiful thing.

Couldn't wait for this book to come out, and boy it was worth the wait. The whole story surprised me, so many twists and turns kept me on my toes and I couldn't put the book down. Again Bryce Evans proved that she is an amazing writer and I cannot wait for book 3.

Sorry no spoilers.... I really enjoyed Cravings. It kept me on the edge of my seat through the whole book. Cravings was a great read. I would recommend to anyone. I can't wait for the next book in the series. :) Happy Reading :)

I could not put it down. It has everything in it, action, sexiness and great characters. They have to battle against the evil that is heading to Alpha City. I was on the edge of my seat. I can't wait until the next book.

I liked it but... people just dropped out of the story. The Las Vegas Alpha... here one chapter, gone the next. Zoey's friend from work. He was mentioned in 1 sentence. If you are putting them into the story.. at least give them an exit. Otherwise, a good story.
