A perfect book to wrap up the Southern Roads series!!
Burned Roads was packed full of so much emotion. This was the first time in this series that I found myself identifying with both the MMC and FMC.
Anyone who has ever been an athlete can feel for Linc with his sense of self worth tied to his playing ability. I found myself able to relate to Linc more than Colt, Owen and Bryce.
And anyone who has ever experienced self doubt or had a toxic friend/partner/family member will be able to relate to willow.
Both Linc and Willow experience such strong emotional journeys of learning to forgive, learning self worth and learning self love. Despite everything, they don't want to give up on each other.
This book is perfect for anyone who enjoys an emotional growth story and watching characters learn to love themselves and mend broken bridges to get that second chance at forever. This book wraps up the whole series in the most wonderful way.

If you’ve read the first three books in the Southern Roads series, you know Amanda brings the best emotional, swoony & spicy romances!! If you haven’t read them, what are you doing with your life?? (Seriously, they are the best). I fall more and more in love with this small town and its wonderful friend group and family with every book and every page.
Burned Roads brings you Linc (an NFL QB) and Willow (a quiet coffee shop owner) who had and lost a love so strong that neither of them have been able to find again. Unexpected circumstances throw them back into the same town where they first found love. But Willow is engaged and it’s been ten years since they last saw each other and it was a departure that left them both broken. If you love second chances, small towns, NFL heroes, emotional healing, found family, cinnamon roll MMC’s that fall first & spice, don’t miss out on this one!!

Burned Roads is the kind of finale every reader dreams of. I adored Bryce’s story, but this book absolutely hit it out of the park.... no, scratch that...it went straight into the end zone with a two-point conversion!
From page one, I was hooked. The chemistry between the two leads, Linc and Willow, is undeniable. The years of longing, heartbreak, and unshakable devotion had me clutching the book like it was my lifeline, flipping each page on the edge of my seat!
This was, without question, my favourite of the Southern Roads series.
Touchdown. Game over. Best finale ever.

Linc broke up with Willow as teenagers with a lie to ensure she not give up on pursuing her dreams for his. Unfortunately, that lie did more damage than good. Can Linc mend what he's broken and earn Willow's trust all this time later?
I enjoyed the premise of Linc and Willow's story. However, I would have liked more development in their relationship building through their past and the issues they were faced with. Less intense and dramatic than Colt and Kelsie's story, but still sweet.

Linc and Willow were such a good second chance romance. When Willow finally learned the real reason Linc left it was like a weight was lifted. I couldn't put it down..
