Three men. One freezing night. Zero chance I'm walking away from this unscathed.

When a brutal frost threatens to wipe out my flower farm, my neighbors show up at 2 AM like they've been waiting for an excuse. Tarps. Heaters. Flashlights cutting through the dark. And three bodies I've spent a year trying not to imagine between my legs.

Leo's the one with the hands—calloused, commanding, made for pinning me down. Levi's the one with the mouth—filth wrapped in poetry, voice pitched to ruin. And Hudson? Hudson's the smile that makes trouble sound like foreplay.

I've been good. I've been careful. I've raised my twins. Built this business from the ground up. Kept my hunger buried under years of celibacy and closed bedroom doors.

But now they're in my fields. In my home. In my head.

And when Leo backs me against his workshop wall, when Levi tells me exactly how he wants me, when Hudson slides his hands under my sweater like he owns the right to every inch of skin—

I let them in.

They're not just here to save my farm. They're here for me. Every inch. Every moan. Every ragged breath I've locked away for years. They want to make up for every second I spent pretending I didn't want this. Didn't want them.

On this island, falling for one man would be reckless. Falling for three? That's scandal written in sweat and skin. Let them whisper. Let them judge. I've held myself together long enough.

Lorna by Daphne Leigh
Lorna is the best book in the Love Sequence series so far. Daphne Leigh delivers a heartfelt, addictive romance filled with irresistible men, a strong and relatable single mother, and a beautifully paced emotional journey. The story balances vulnerability and trust in a way that feels authentic and deeply engaging.

What a great book! Lorna was great read! I really enjoyed getting to know her after getting tidbits of her in the other books. I love the world that Daphne Leigh has built - Scotland yes but a world of open minded people who love who they love. The guys were great too! Leo, Levi and Hudson were strong MMCs and they cared about Lorna and her kids. They did everything they could to show that. Daniel and Lorelei were fun to read about! They had their own personalities and the grown ups nurtured them! No third act break up - just love and happiness. The story was still exciting to read as you want to know what happens to her career and when/how they get married. If you loved Charlie, Isla and Penelope, you will love Lorna! I was given the chance to read Lorna via ARC directly from the author — Thank you, Daphne! I loved it.

This book was to freaking long. All of the characters were great but this book could have easily been 250 pages. There was also no plot at all.

I fell in love with this author when I first Charlie and then I just binged all her books. Lorna was amazing but yet different. I loved the fact that Lorna had kids and how they all fell together as a family so naturally but yet slowly. The guys also, Hudson and Levi were swoon-worthy heroes and it’s impossible not to fall for all of them!
The spice as always is 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ and I love his patient yet dirty these guys are towards Lorna. It’s an antithesis that I love..
I can’t wait for Millie’s story!!!!

FAVORITE QUOTE(S):
“Sweet saints and soggy biscuits. I’m going to die. Right here at this dinner table, face first in the mashed potatoes.”
&
“‘I want to make love to you under the stars,” he says. “I want the universe to know you’re mine.’”

RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended when in the mood for a why choose, contemporary romance that just feels good throughout the whole book. Nothing like science lessons on orgasms and women’s bodies in a romance book!

GENRE, POV, PAGE COUNT:
Genre is contemporary romance. POV alternates between the FMC and each of the MMCs by chapter in the first-person. Page count is 626 pages.

TROPES:
Tropes include MFMM, why choose, sweet romance, Scottish girl & Australian boys, single mom, she’s a doctor of sex, farm life, medium angst, and happily ever after!

AUDIOBOOK REVIEW & TIME LENGTH:
No audiobook at the time of this review.

FMC:
Lorna McLeod is 32 years old and is a single mother of 6 year old boy/girl twins. Sister to Jack (who is with Charlie from book 1) and Isla from book 3. She has a doctorate in sex, knows all about the woman’s body, 0rgasms and all things sex. Her ex did a number on her confidence, making her believe her degree was not appropriate and didn’t mean anything. After the divorce, she shut down and lived on a plot of land where she grows flowers. She’s creating brand new dahlias! This is her dream, to create brand new flowers and sell them for a living. She just needs to believe she can do it.

MMC:
We have 3 MMCs. Leo, Levi and Hudson. They are all from Australia, moved to Scotland for a new start after the death of Levi & Hudson’s mother. Levi is older brother to Hudson. They farm for a living and live next door to Lorna. They have quite a history together. Leo and Hudson had a relationship before Hudson’s mother got sick. Then things got complicated and they put everything on hold, feelings are still there though. One thing is certain though, they all adore Lorna and her kids!!

“Leo is... steady. Protective. Makes me feel safe but also challenged.” “Hudson brings out a playfulness I thought Richard had killed.” “And Levi sees parts of me I’ve kept locked away for years.”

STORYLINE/PLOT:
This is the story of Lorna and her Australian neighbors in rural Scotland- Leo, Hudson and Levi. The boys like Lorna and she likes them. She’s just been too afraid to pursue a relationship with anyone since her divorce. She would never have thought about a relationship with all three of them for sure!

One night, a surprise frost/freeze event pops in on Lorna. The next thing she knows, all 3 of her neighbors are there helping to cover and warm her flowers to save them! She didn’t even ask them! They just knew she’d need help and took it upon themselves to come and insist they help her. Lorna is proud and does not like accepting help. She wants to take care of everything herself, needs to so she knows she can. This sets in motion more and more time spent together, meals together, etc where it’s obvious they all like each other and would like more.

The boys absolutely love her two kids. They jump in to help anytime and genuinely love spending time with them. Lorna is summoned by her brother to their family estate an hour or two away to clear and plant a garden in order to have a wedding there. Some big shot saw it and wants to cover a wedding there. So, Lorna leaves with her kids for a few weeks to do the work on their gardens. This could help her family and herself to get more money and connections to grow their businesses!

The boys offer to take care of her farm while she is gone. And she lets them! One by one they start coming to visit her, not able to stay away. Her relationship with each of them grows and they get to the point they all want a relationship together. It’s an all or none deal, if she’s gonna date them she has to date them all.

And what a wild ride it is! This story is at a slower pace than prior books in this series! Being a single mom and having the history she does, it takes longer for her to accept and pursue the relationships. It’s definitely a sloooooow burn! But when they get to that point, it is flaming hot! Like the others, it’s a sweet and hot why choose romance with wonderful characters who treat each other so good and with respect!

THANKS:
Thank you to Author Daphne Leigh for this amazing ebook! I loved reading it, look forward to the next book in this series and look forward to reading all future books! Thank you!

Happy Reading! ♥☻

I fell in love with Daphne’s writing back when I first read Charlie. The love for the stories and characters has just continued to grow and Lorna’s story was just a beautiful and I’m so happy I got an ARC copy for this book!

I knew when we first met Lorna, her kids and her 3 neighbours that their story was gonna hit me in the feels. Yes this book has all the romance. Yes it has all the spice. But it has so much more then that. it’s a story of people seeing you really seeing you. And loving the parts of you that you never thought anybody would love. it’s about three broken men who either never thought they would have kids or never wanted kids stepping up and being a father figure for two kids that aren’t their own on top of being there for their mother and supporting them in every way possible while also finding their own way back to one another after the grief they have spent years going through.

Lorna is such a strong, independent bad ass Boss/mother/father/doctor/flower farmer who has taken on so much by herself for so long. and has built walls to protect not only herself, but her children as well.

Then comes along Leo Hudson and Levi, who don’t simply tear down those walls they bulldoze them and immediately cares for Lorna and her kids, as if they’ve always been theres.

where the first three books to the love sequence series are pretty fast burns. Lorna takes a slow burn, but with the most beautiful delicious angst and build up and discovery of one another that once you hit that first bit of spice it makes it 1000x better.

And let’s not forget our fairy queen Lorelai and our serious scientist Daniel, who are the cutest six-year-olds I have ever read about. and have those three men wrapped around their fingers so tight that I have no doubt that they would get away with anything when they’re older.

Sidenote, I love that we got to see the characters from the other stories. I just wish we got to see Penelope‘s guys a little bit more. I’m probably biased when it comes to that because they (Archer) were my favourite 🤭

I absolutely loved this book. Daphne has done it again with an amazing storyline to go along with the spice. This is book 4 in the Love sequence book. You can read them on their own, but I highly recommend you start from the beginning. These books are why choose/ reverse harem, each following a woman who ends up with more than one man, so if that’s not your thing move along. Daphne does an amazing job telling stories within this genre. Lorna’s story is a slower burn than the others, but she is also a single mom to 6 year old twins. Having children already before getting together with multiple men is more difficult to navigate. She not only has to worry about herself but also her kids and how it’ll affect them. Although Leo, Levi and Hudson are amazing. They not only are there to help out Lorna when she needs it, and doesn’t expect anything in return, but they also adore her children. They see her Daniel and Lorelai than more than just her kids. They see how smart and wonderful they are in their own ways. Just like they see Lorna as more than a mother. They see her as this incredible human who has rebuilt her life and has raised two kids alone while also making her flower farm a success. This book is a great way to show that you can still be independent but also have people who love you and care for you. You can have the career you want, while having kids and a partner; or in these books partners; that respect you and value you and your choices. Lorna has all the things from the way the guys are protective and adoring to the flirting between the 4 of them to the spice. And let me tell you there is spice. I just can’t get enough of these book and can’t wait to read the next book in the series.

This book is about more than just spice and group smexy time. It’s about growing together, finding strength in yourself as well as with others. It’s about love.

Lorna has the kind of strength that is quiet and not in your face. She loves her kids, and truly has the mom guilt down pat. She has trouble allowing herself to trust in love and her own feelings. I loved the emotional growth and finding herself inspire of past pain.

The men… oh the men. There’s something about a guy that steps up to be a dad and love someone else’s children like they were theirs. Even in a fictional world it’s still sexy as heck. They all have their own struggles with past traumatic experiences that shaped them. I loved how not only did they love Lorna and her kids fiercely; but finding their own home in each other.

That ending almost had me in tears. I absolutely loved it!!

I got an ARC of this book. It’s book 4 of the Love sequence series. The characters drew me in like all the other books have. Lorna is so determined to do it all herself but a sudden early morning freeze nearly destroys her livelihood of delicate dahlia flower beds. Leo, Levi and Hudson have been her neighbors and friends for the past two years and she has done everything in her power to avoid and ignore them and the attraction.
I absolutely love the writing style of Daphne Leigh. The story draws you in. You get glimpses of past characters. The spice is amazing and hot and the romance is sweet and dynamic. The slow burn as the guy’s court Lorna and get to know her two kids is fabulous. The ways these guys keep showing up and showing they care is absolutely swoon worthy. I definitely love the MM romance between Leo and Hudson!

Daphne has once again given us characters to swoon over. If you had trouble choosing between Jack and Theo then welcome to Leo the grump/OOT protective man you will met who will do anything for the flower farmer and her kids next door. If you couldn’t choose between Lach and Henry then I welcome you to meet Hudson the lovable and goofy man who will do anything to put a smile on your face and last if you absolutely couldn’t choose between Cam and Dylan then allow me to introduce you to Levi the poet softy who has a bit of a dom side. I loved Lorna her story was amazing in how even as moms we deserve love and desire and that being a mom doesn’t define who we are as women. I honestly can’t wait to see what Daphne brings us next.

The perfect mix of spice and heartwarming romance! This was by far my favorite of the Love Sequence books!

Lorna’s story goes beyond the usual love story with attractive men. It also captures the warmth of building a family, of trusting those men not only with her heart but with her children. This was an absolute standout aspect of this book. The relationship built between the love interests felt real and genuine, and it was great to explore their emotional connections beyond the physical.

This is a low stakes, happy read. And the spice is definitely there! On top of all this, the writing is exceptional, capturing every aspect of the characters and their journey together.

*I received an advanced copy of this book and am sharing an honest review.

I’m not ganna be the popular opinion here … I’m sorry

Got 62% of the way through and I really really tried and I WANTED to love the book but I just didn’t I got bored (I know I can’t believe I’m saying this)

I felt like the actual story was being thrown on the back burner. I’ve read plenty of books where there are multiple partners and ya I know there’s ganna be a lot of smexy stuff but when the story itself is slow going I can’t keep going. Around 45% I was starting to skip parts wanting to see what happened next in the story itself and I couldn’t make myself continue anymore after 62%. Maybe ill give it another go in the future and hopefully it was just a “not right now” book as that happens for me time to time.

ARC Review.
Lorna is my favorite in Daphne Leigh's Love Sequence why choose series.
A single mother to twins, Lorna is a brilliant, strong and beautiful FMC who always puts family first. A women from STEM to trades her analytical dreams for a flower farm to give her children the life she dreams for them. But 3 neighbors change her trajectory and allow her to open her heart again and build a new family.
Leo, Husdon and Levi bring the spice, the tenderness, the care and who doesn't love watching a man become a father to children who are not his biologically.

This was such a sweeping, sort of slow burn romance between Lorna, Leo, Hudson, and Levi. They’ve been neighbors for a couple of years, but Lorna has had giant walls built around her heart. One night, the guys show up without having to be asked to help Lorna protect her flowers from a freeze. From that night on, Lorna began letting them into her life and her twins’ lives. The attraction was always there, and now, it was able to flourish. Spicy and romantic. The guys show Lorna how much they love her and Charlie and Lorelai and how they will care for them always. Loved it!!!

Oh Wow! I knew I would love Lorna’s story. It was fantastic! I thought I was going to get through it without crying happy tears. Such a beautiful story. Her children were fun to read about and each relationship her guys had with them was awesome. I loved reading about the other families, getting to see glimpses of their lives. Each story has been unique which I really like. This story is so special and will be one I come back to read again and again. Now that sneak peek of the next book. I cannot wait. It’s enemies to lovers I hope. You’ve intrigued me Daphne!

4.5 ⭐️

This book, out of all four, wrecked me the hardest. There were parts of this book I didn’t like, just like any other book, but the meat of it…the four main characters were just…beautiful. Beautifully written, beautifully imperfect, and perfectly made for each other. I’ve read everything by this author and will continue to do so. She writes steamy love stories that make your toes curl while simultaneously melting your heart. We all know how books like this end. They get the girl. But it’s HOW they get there that is the real magic. LORNA did not disappoint.

I love this whole series by Daphne Leigh. From the hints of Lorna in the first 3 books I had a feeling this book was going to be special. So when I was selected for an ARC copy I was over the moon. This book did not disappointed. From the main characters to the story line this book was so much fun to read. Daphne’s writing style is so easy to read, will pull you in and keep your attention from start to finish.

ARC-

If you like cutsey romance novels, then this one knocks it out of the park. Just like all the rest in the series, it’s a book made for those who just want to read a happy beginning, middle, and end.

Such a good book just was amazing as the first three were. You don’t have to read the first three but it’s definitely recommended to do so you kind of get a full whole picture of their life. I will say the book is crazy long, but it is worth every page of it.
