High-stakes dark mafia romance. This is the perfect mafia romance, it's the darkest kind. Deranged and disturbed. All the elements someone would seek in a mafia romance. You could feel the tension through the pages. It was written well and impossible to put down once you've started. Isadora Blackwell hit the mark with this one. Morally grey with steaming tension.
I know there is audio coming for this book, but I usually don't do audio. However, this is one of those I think I would enjoy.

Dark mafia romance done perfectly. The tension and chemistry between the 2 main characters is exactly what I love!
If you are looking for a FMC who is fierce and independent and a MMC who can't seem to stay away from her with definite touch her and 💀 vibes, then this book is for you!
It was beautifully written, and I can not wait to see what else Isadora has in store for us!

I absolutely loved the sassy, witty banter between Anastasie and Cole - it kept me laughing even in the darkest moments. I’m usually not a fan of violence or gore, but in this world, it’s all about revenge and survival, and Blackwell handles it perfectly. The level of detail in her writing is incredible, and the huge shock closer to the end completely caught me off guard. Dark, intense, and utterly addictive - I can’t wait to see what she writes next!

A spicy mafia romance between a killer and a mafia boss with an instant attraction. The main characters, Ana and Cole, are an interesting couple with fun banter. Ana has a particularly interesting back story. Oh, and the spice is indeed spicy. It is full of action, deception, and dealing with loss.
I look forward to reading more in the series.
