About the author

Chuck Morgan attended Seton Hall University and Regis College and spent thirty-five years as a construction project manager. He is an avid outdoorsman, an Eagle Scout, and a licensed private pilot with a passion for camping, hiking, mountain biking, and fly-fishing.

Morgan is the author of Her Name Was Jane, a memoir about his late wife’s nine-year battle with breast cancer. Morgan has three children, two grandchildren, and two dogs. He resides in Lone Tree, Colorado.

This is a well written book with the political twist that makes you cheer for the good guys. Mike and his team report directly to the sitting president and solve the difficult problems that need to be kept under wraps. It starts with reports from election night which aligns pretty close to what we just lived through. There are a group of men that feel they know what is best and that they are above the law. Combine that with a trained team of militia and you have bad news. Now Mike and his team are assigned to protect the elected officials and stop the bad guys. This was a one day read so if you pick it up make sure your calendar is clear.

Preserve, Protect, and Defend is a fast-paced political thriller that grabs hold from the first chapter and doesn’t let go. Chuck Morgan blends power struggles, betrayal, and heart-pounding action into a story that feels both urgent and believable. Senator Oliver Stevenson makes for a chillingly ambitious antagonist, while Mike Branik and his team bring grit and determination to the fight for democracy. The twists come at just the right moments, keeping me guessing and invested all the way through. If you enjoy Clancy or Flynn-style thrillers with high stakes and nonstop tension, this one is absolutely worth the read.

A Great Read!

Fast paced, filled with suspense and action. You wouldn't want to be up against Mike and his team! An awesome read. Held my interest and kept me interested through out the story. I highly recommend this book.
