The Serpent's Sanctuary: In the Void's Embrace, a Kingdom is Forged

Rate this book
When the Morning Star falls from Heaven, he does not descend—he is cast, broken and burning, into a world that no longer remembers mercy. His wings are torn, his pride spills like blood into the dust, and Satan drags his ruined form across the grey wastelands of existence—until he finds her.

eternal, unmovable, untouched by Heaven’s endless wars. She alone stands at the crossroads of the living and the damned, and in the shattered ruin of the Morning Star, she sees not a monster, but a man unraveling beneath the weight of his fall.

Against every law written into her bones, Death offers him sanctuary—a hollow silence in the void, where even the forsaken may mend. Yet peace was never carved into Satan’s destiny. Ambition festers within his wounds, a slow, terrible hunger to seize dominion over all that Heaven abandoned. And Death, once the cold and distant sentinel, finds herself drawn into the inferno of his becoming.

As forbidden desire blooms like a bruise between them, Death teaches Satan to raise an empire from ash and agony—even as she knows he will soon become the very tyrant she was born to destroy.

In a love story stained by sin and sealed with the death of innocence, Death must will she stand apart and witness the Devil’s rise—or will she fall with him, and surrender her soul to the darkness she was meant to end?

I’m a practicing Satanic witch who believes in the power of autonomy, knowledge, and the beauty found in darkness. My craft informs my fiction—both are acts of conjuring something from nothing, of finding power in the forbidden and forgotten.

When I’m not writing tales of the macabre, I tend to my ever-growing collection of plants and commune with the animals who have adopted me as much as I’ve adopted them. I believe all creatures—human and otherwise—deserve sanctuary.

“The heavens did not part in celestial harmony. They ripped.”

The imagery in this novel affords the reader the chance to feel, not just read the words. As a Satanic Minister, I found the play between light and darkness especially alluring, as it showed a perfect tension between both worlds and the characters. The story weaving was a perfect blend of history and mythology, sprinkled with drama and romance. This will definitely makes the reread list.

What makes this book stand out is how it blends mythology, romance, and tragedy into something wholly original. The relationship between Death and the Morning Star is as breathtaking as it is doomed, filled with moments of tenderness, ambition, and inevitable betrayal.

The Serpent’s Sanctuary is an enthralling blend of myth, darkness, and destiny. Circe Andromeda crafts a world that feels both dangerous and intoxicating, pulling readers deep into the void where kingdoms rise and fall under the weight of fate.
The characters are vivid and unforgettable each carrying secrets, ambitions, and flaws that make them feel achingly real. The tension between light and shadow is masterfully woven into the story, and the bond at the heart of this tale is equal parts haunting and beautiful.
