In an age when magic idols reign supreme, all Star One has going for them is their incredible work ethic. Though the five members have been giving it their all for the past three years, their lack of magic remains a hopelessly insurmountable wall, and with their fans dwindling, it seems to be the end of the road for their careers―or so they think, when they suddenly manifest the powers they’d been dreaming of! It’s finally the big break the group was hoping for, but when a mysterious group of hostile individuals attacks them, Star One realizes just how special they are. The fate of the world seems to rest on their shoulders―whether they it to or not!

K-pop Demon Hunters meets Dungeons and Dragons meets Mythology. Star One isn't your typical K-pop boy group: at first, they are the only magicless idols in a world where magic idols are the norm; but when miraculously magic manifests in them, they aren't simply a magical boy band. They are the Boys of Destiny , boys on whose young shoulders rests the destiny of the entire world.

On the brink of the apocalypse, caught in the crossfire between the Dragon Slayer Clan and the Dragon Sect, Soule - descendant of the Elves and owner of prescience, Eugene - from the antlered warrior clan of the Wendigos with formidable strength, Avys, descendant of the Orniths, winged creatures possessing summoning powers, Viken - the healing druid son of the Dryads, and Taho, the mage from the wise tribe of the Noctua, birds of night with illusion magic, will have to learn how to navigate this whole new world while learning to wield their magic and its consequences, while uncovering the truth behind their destiny and their names, with the help of unexpected friends who once shared their same destiny.

Emotional, touching, funny and thought-provoking, The Star Seekers isn't just for TXT fans. Granted, the characters have so much in common with the respective idol they took inspiration from, and watching TXT lore unfold under your eyes after spending hours trying to decipher their +u music videos is very satisfying for a MOA. But you don't have to be one, you don't have to know about TXT to enjoy this book. You'll inevitably fall in love with its characters, rooting for them as they face their struggles together.

The Star Seekers is a good fantasy story, one that has the taste of a classic high fantasy that puts bonds, morality and values at the centre; where good vs. evil isn't as clear as we usually believe, but a grey area we have to navigate as we grow up and learn more about the world and ourselves. The Star Seekers is a story of self-acceptance, of accepting who you are and deciding who you want to be; it tells us that being different isn't a bad thing, being different is what makes us beautiful strangers. It's a story for all those people who, while wandering their path through life, never forget to keep chasing the stars. The Star Seekers is a story of youth, with a touch of magic.

And isn't this, what TXT music is really about?
