Where Cozy Summer Vibes meet Spicy, Why Choose Romance.
Sunny, Lakeside Point’s local omega beekeeper, lives a simple life tending Sunshine Apiary and attending The Omega Book Club with friends. But when she's faced with selling her farm to make way for the Night Pack's luxury hotel, sparks fly—especially when they discover they're her mated pack!
The Night Pack, new to Lakeside Point, expects resistance from an irate farmer, but finds themselves smitten with the omega owner. When the pack discovers that Sunny may be in danger, they refuse to leave. Can these city boys win over the country girl's heart? 🐝💕
The Omega Book Club is a standalone series. You can read them all, or just a few—in order, out of order, or somewhere in between. It features a guaranteed HEA, Found Family, Strong Female Friendships, and Cozy Summer Vibes.
Veronica Samek enters the literary world with her debut novel Alternates. Having spent much of her childhood life between stacks of books at her parents’ second-hand bookstore, she discovered a love for all things reading at an early age which has translated to a love of writing as an adult.
She lives in Michigan with her husband, three small children, and a golden doodle named Doctor (Who).
So cute and cozy, but still spicy, and definitely an improvement from book one! I think the plot was so good in this one, as the heroine is working on her bee farm while the guys arrived to try and buy her land for their hotel. They show up and realize that the grumpy farmer is actually a woman and she's their scent match. Obviously their hotel plans are put on pause while they decide to court her. The characters, especially the heroine, had a lot of emotional depth to them, and I really enjoyed how they slowly lowered their walls and allowed for the chance at a connection. The bee farm was the cutest setting and I just had so much fun reading this omegaverse!
Very sweet, cozy and genuinely light - hearted story. The FMC was a lovely person, looking after her bees and managing her business. The pack was nice, though some of the gentlemen were kind of left in the sidelines here, I reckon that if the author allowed for each MMC to have their own time with the heroine, things would have been more balanced. The sensitive scent - match element here was intriguing as it appears to be rare and it connects individuals on a more solid basis. Frankly, there was nothing wrong with the story, it was a pleasant read, nothing too complex or soul shattering, but sometimes I do enjoy precisely that.
overall a sweet omegaverse book. if you’re looking for something with not a lot of drama and for issues to be resolved quickly, this is a good choice.
i would have liked more from Jess and Hunt’s relationship. it felt like it was glossed over really quickly and just kind of thrown in. i also thought the storyline with her cousin was anticlimactic but i understand since this book was meant to be more on the sweeter side.
First, a professional writer should know their from there - that was frustrating.
Second, why is it ok for a male to be rude, condescending and bullying - but we accept that because “he didn’t know it was HIS omega he was bullying”? He showed her who he was, why are we accepting him.
Then thirdly, the out of place random “daddy” oh ewwww, that wasn’t done well. No no no.
I liked Sunny’s book a lot more than Cali’s. We actually got some spice this time with light Dom/Sub play, Primal Play, and even a little MM. Sunny herself was more tolerable too, though she’s still sweeter than honey and sometimes that much sugar just gives you a toothache. The guys weren’t perfect at first but they managed to pull it together. The story was fast paced but just like the first book not insta love. And the plot? It took a coffee break halfway through and forgot to clock back in until the last couple pages. Four alphas, one omega, lots of banging, and the drama had the lifespan of a fruit fly.
Small inconsistencies throughout; feels like the one MMC-of-color is tokenized/fetishized (multiple mentions of skin color in times that it doesn’t seem to be relevant and mentions of “black/dark 🍆” without equivalent descriptions of any other characters); has a pre-established MM relationship in the pack but there is very little romantic or affectionate interaction between them, physical or otherwise. I honestly forgot that they were supposed to be a couple until it was brought up towards the end.
Cozy, small town omegaverse is a niche genre but ever since I read A Pack for Autumn last year it's one I have been seeking out. The previous book in this series missed the mark but this was far more enjoyable.
Sunny and the set up between the guys was fun. She is the owner of a third-generation bee farm and the Night pack has been hassling her, through email, to sell to them so they can use her land as part of their luxury hotel. I loved the egg on the face moment when they meet her for the first time and realize she is their fated mate. Immediate dog house.
This is short, so the jump from adversarial, on Sunny's part, to physical and emotional intimacy missed a few steppingstones for me. We see Sunny's feelings change through her inner monologue, but I could have used more interactions between her and the guys before the spice.
There was a pretty decent suspense element too with someone sabotaging Sunny's bee farm. The resolution was a bit underwhelming but I am a sucker for the protectiveness we get from a pack when their omega is in even a little bit of danger.
Final thoughts, I got what I wanted from this, cozy, sweet and spicy. I liked that the guys had to work for it a bit after their initial interactions with her, but nothing was unforgivable.
Ah loved this book! Really reminded how cozy this authors writing is ☺️ it was a good easy read and exactly what I needed!
I love our FMC and how independent she was! They groveled for her as they should!!! The MMCs 🥵 all of them unique in their own ways! They have their own backs stories and she was the glue that helped stick their relationships back together
I love that small town and can’t wait to see our other couples!!!
Wow…what can I say I was hooked from the start and couldn’t put the book down. Much like the first in the series! I adored the guys and how they repaired their relationships with the help of Sunny who deserves the world! I can’t wait for the next one in the series! I will 100% be rereading this book in the future! A new comfort read has been found.
This was a fun book 😏 I’ve never really read omegavirse books and this was very interesting and enjoyable. I would totally read it again so happy to have received this arc!
I really liked the idea, the setting, the set up. I had a lot of notes about how cute and sweet parts were. I liked how the main character worked through her issues and grew from them. BUT somehow, a lot of my issues were more glaring to me in this book than the first. I believe this series could really shine with a few more rounds of editing. There's repeated paragraphs, words used incorrectly, plot lines that seemingly became forgotten quickly, and a general lack of depth to the characters/their stories. I was ok with these things as I read through, because at some point I just accepted them, it did impact my ability to fully enjoy the entire story.
I loved this book so much. This is the second book in The Omega Book Club series and this book was just plain amazing. It can definitely be read as a standalone if you need to, but the first book is also really good.
I love sweet and cozy Omegaverse books. This one had just enough drama to keep things interesting, but the main storyline was definitely Sunny finding her pack. Sunny, the FMC and omega, was perfect. Her character was so well-written and just what this pack needed.
Sunny’s pack of alphas had a great dynamic. They were honestly perfect for her. Cole, the head alpha and most dominant one, was super intense but in a good way. Jess, with his lack of filter, brought the humor but was also super devoted. Hunt and Luca were both sweet and caring, also.
I also loved the small town of Lakeside Point and the side characters of this book. The group of girls in the book club are all special in their own way and it’s always great to see characters from previous books show up in a new read.
This book really delivered. If you are looking for a sweet and cozy Omegaverse story that is also steamy, then this book is for you.
If you’re in the mood for a sweet, cozy Omegaverse story with just enough drama to keep things interesting, “A Pack of Honey” is exactly what you’re looking for.
Sunny, the FMC and omega, was absolutely perfect. Her character was so well-written—warm, genuine, and exactly what her pack needed. The dynamic with her alphas was spot-on. Cole, the head alpha, brings this intense energy (but in the best way), while Jess’s lack of filter adds humor and a surprising amount of devotion. Hunt and Luca are both sweet and caring, rounding out the pack with so much heart.
The small town of Lakeside Point was charming, and I loved all the side characters, especially the girls in the book club. Each one has their own quirks and personality, and it’s always a treat to see old favorites from previous books pop up.
This book really delivers on all fronts—cozy, steamy, and just the right amount of drama. If you love Omegaverse romances that make you feel good, you’ll want to pick this one up!
This was another cute omegaverse read with low angst. Sunny owns a bee farm and has been getting offers from the Night Pack to buy her out, which she refuses. When the pack comes to see her in person they realize they are a scent-sensitive match. Sunny is hesitant to pursue a relationship with them because she feels they don’t have anything in common.
The Night pack consists of Cole, Luca, Hunt, and Jess. I liked that Cole realized he has been a jerk to Sunny when he was emailing her about buying her land. Luca was a steady presence and was intrigued with Sunny right away. I loved that Jess and Hunt had their own relationship and that Sunny supported it. There is an antagonist in Sunny’s cousin who is trying to get her to sell the farm, but it’s really a minor aspect of the book and gets resolved easily. As always with omegaverse books the spicy scenes are plentiful and hot.
A Pack of Honey, wow what to say about this book! 🐝
This book was honestly amazing, I loved the first one but this one just blew it out of the water!
We meet Sunny, who is keeping her family legacy alive on her family’s farm determined to keep it as just that. Enter our MMC’s, Cole, Jess, Hunter, and Luca. I loved each and everyone of them in different ways, but what I loved the most is how they all came together to right the wrongs they made and actually prove to Sunny they can be who she needs them to be.
I also think the suspense in this book was perfectly done! Not too much, but just right, and added an additional aspect to the story.
I cannot wait for the next book, i’m so excited to see where Veronica Samek goes from here, and super happy and grateful to have received this Arc!
If you’re looking for something Low angst, and cozy, this is the book for you!
This is a really cute MMFMM addition to the series! We follow Sunny and Pack Night as they come together in spite or maybe because of their differences. Big city pack meets small farmer omega. There’s some really great tension at the beginning of the book as everyone must overcome misunderstandings in order to begin the courting process.
One thing I do like about these particular omegaverse books is that they aren’t heavy with evil shadow governments, and super dark themes of kidnapping, and loss of autonomy that can sometimes come with omegaverse books. This is firmly in the sweetverse category.
The other thing I really like is that each of the guys has their own personality and character arc. We really get to see the individual develop a relationship with Sunny.
Overall, this cozy sweet slice of life omega verse is a really great easy read and can be knocked out in a day or two! Thank you for the ARC!
The perfect mix of sweet, sour, and spicy. I’ve read both “A Pack of Cozy” and “A Pack of Honey”, and I love how different these stories are. Definitely starts out enemies to lovers, and Alphas fall first tropes. Some light D/s, but it suits the characters, and was different to Cozy. Cali’s pack and Sunny’s pack are very different, and their relationships/approach to the pack is also different. There’s an element of danger from outside the pack, but it’s more a background story than the main story. It definitely has an effect on the FMC, has left her guarded, but doesn’t play much in the main story.
Readers who enjoy A Pack for Autumn and A pack for Spring will enjoy this series.
A solid small town omegaverse story that takes place in northern Michigan. This is part of the “omega book club” series by Veronica Samek, second in the series, but fourth book that I have read. A semi enemies to lovers theme as the pack that Sonny matches with is a multimillion dollar resort company that has been trying to buy her farm to use her land for the or next resort. They find out they are sent sensitive mates, and of course drop the pursuit of her farm instantly. While the boys all fall first and fast, it takes a little time for our MFC to let her walls down. A 🌶️🌶️🌶️/5 spices for DP, rutting, and some brief primal play. #omegaverse #VeronicaSamek #SmallTownRomance #MichiganRomance
I really loved this book — it was exactly what I needed right now! The guys definitely messed up (badly!) but I really enjoyed seeing them work for forgiveness. The groveling was so satisfying — I just wish there had been even more of it because I’m a sucker for that.
I did miss a few extra courting presents or sweet gestures — it would’ve been fun to see them really pull out all the stops to win her back. But honestly, their chemistry and dynamic more than made up for it. I adored how they interacted, the banter, the tension — it was all so cute and addictive.
I’m so attached to these characters now and can’t wait to see where the story goes next. Bring on the next book — I’ll be first in line!
This is an omegaverse novel. This is the second of its kind that I've read. (first being the first book in this series).
Why-choose/ RH romance Cosy sweet vibes Age Gap Small Town Farm girl x Corporate Pack Omegaverse Boyfriends are boyfriends MMFMM 5-star Spice
This really is a very sweet, cosy novel, while remaining very darn spicy.
Our FMC, Sunny, is a strong omega who runs her own very successful Honey Farm Our MMCs are the Night Pack; they all have distinct personalities that complement each other well. Their Dominate Alpha was originally a huge douchebag to our FMC over email, and I loved that dynamic. There’s some good tension at the beginning of the book due to this.
I like the cosiness of these books, which don't have big political or dark government themes.
Overall, I read this very sweet, cosy, SPICY book in one night. It was a really good time. Thank you for the ARC again!
I read the first book in the series when it came out and was hooked from the beginning, but I have to say I think this one was even better.
I loved sunny and her alphas. Veronica does an amazing job at crafting the perfect mix of a sweet omgeaverse with a bit of tension so it’s not sickly sweet.
This was a low angst cozy feel omegaverse romance! We have an omega who is on her own with her families bee farm and has a pack who wants her land to go along with a new hotel they are building…. Unaware they are harassing their scent sensitive fated mate. We have dominate and broody and sweeet as our alphas, there is mm in the pack. It was low angsty and just feel good romance.
Thank you so much to Veronica Samek and her team for allowing me to read this as an ARC. If it’s even possible, I loved A Pack of Honey even more than A Pack of Cozy! I loved Sunny’s story and how they all got together in the sweetest of ways. I can’t wait to continue with this series.
ARC Review - I love a good cozy omegaverse, and this one is just that. I loved the relationship between the Night Pack and Sunny but also each individual relationship with Sunny and the dynamics between each of the pack members as they get to know their omega.
If you are looking for a good cozy but spicy read this is it. I recommend starting with book but it’s not necessary to enjoy this book. Thank you to Veronica and her team for allowing me to read this as an ARC and can’t wait for the next one
Story 4.5⭐️ Spice 3.5🌶️ Another awesome book for this series! I just have two complaints: Cole only has a half brother, but yet Luca hits on his sister…color me confused. Also, Sunny never actually bites Hunt.
