COLE

I don’t believe in fate. I believe in contracts, control, and never trusting a woman twice. Then turbulence hits, and the terrified beauty gripping my hand rewrites every rule I live by.

She kisses me at baggage claim. We spend one reckless, unforgettable night together then I wake up alone. No number. No last name. Just a nickname and a ghost I can’t find—no matter how hard I search.

Weeks later, I see her again. She runs like I’m the one who disappeared. Then I match with CodeBreaker on a faceless dating app. The connection is instant. Addictive. I don’t realize I’m falling for the same woman twice.

YASMINE

One panic attack. One stranger who makes me feel safe. One night I never meant to repeat.

Until I'm assigned to develop an app for Hart Law and come face-to-face with Cole Hart—the man from the plane… and the man behind my app match who I have built a connection with.

I tell him we can’t date. Conflict of interest. But fate isn’t done with us. Especially not when I have more than one secret I am keeping from him.

Well if this isn't theee cuuutest meet-cute then I dunno what it.

This series has blown me away. All four Hart brothers are yummy and were swoony in their own right. Each majorly living up to their surname with their kind and caring nature but I think Cole might outdo his brothers.

Cole may look like a tattooed rock star but he is calming, loving and gentle and looking for his forever after. A tattooed bad boy lookalike, but who would go to the ends of the earth to find the one. And hang the moon for her once he has.

Yasmine is incredibly intelligent, honest, funny and sexy with a touch of goth vibes.......Just like Cole 🖤. While they look great together it is their personalities that truly draw them to one another.

It was so refreshing and tasty to have the MMC swoon over things the FMC said and did in this story. Could Cole get any sexier.

Yasmine catches Cole's eye in the most unexpected and unconventional way. I loved how different and unique this book started and continued. This was insta love and a mega slow burn all in one (I wont say too much for spoilers). I was desperate to know how their story would end.

There have been several of Vicki's novels that while reading I have predicted the direction they will take only to be completey WRONG! I LOVE how they are never predictable like so many other romance stories are. I was shocked on several occasions with Cole and Yasmine's story with things I didn't see coming. For me that is what makes Vicki next level and sets her apart from many authors. Yes she has amazing main and secondary characters but it's the plot development and the plot twists that stop you putting the book down.

This is another fantastic story that completes the Hart Brothers series perfectly. There is humour, drama, sadness, tension, yearning, swoon, and spice from two people with more chemistry than Marie Curie.

Oh and it wouldn't be a VH Nicolson story without me reading through watery eyes on at least one occasion.

ARC review

5⭐|3🌶️|15%🌶️frequency

Let me start my review with the first line of the acknowledgments:
"Did you cry? I did!"
Yes, Vicki, I cried too. Especially at the end of the book 😭 And yes, I'll miss the Hart brothers too. I love them all so much. I know what's coming next... "Who's your favorite?" And to be honest, it's a difficult question. They all are special in their own way, and having them as a why choose would definitely be something 🙈 But if you would put a 🔫 at my head, I think I would choose Max.

But enough about the other brothers, this is Cole's book 😁
Don't hate me, but I loved Yasmine a bit more than Cole. She's not just an incredible independent woman; she's also a coder. A nerd, a geek. I love that. I don't understand most of this stuff in general (no, there is no real talk about it in this book), but I'm the wife of a coder. And yes, it's a huge male domain. So every time I meet a female in books, I celebrate that 🤩

But I loved more than just Mina. I loved the strong connection Cole and she had. It's so much fate. The whole thing. And oh, did Cole fall hard 🥰 Oh, btw, I really did expect something different about this whole book. I think most will while reading the previous books 😎 But it's so much better. It's perfect. And it's surprising 😱
I swooned, I cried, and I laughed.
My favorite scene was at the end of the book. It's a phone call between Paige (Max's girlfriend) and Cole... I had to laugh sooo much. God, I love Paige 🤣

As I said, the books are perfect. So if you love billionaires who are no 🍑holes, but maybe grumpy 😉 Who fall hard for their women. You like strong women who will fight back. Then I would say, run and read these books now!

📚 BOOK REVIEW 📚

Breaking His Code - @vhnicolsonauthor

There is just something about a VH Nicolson book that always has me turning the pages with anticipation. She captures and hooks me right from the start and I know I'm in for a great time when I have one of her books in my hand.

But how am I supposed to cope now that the beautiful Hart Brothers series has finished?

I have loved this whole series from start to finish and up until now Max has been my favourite brother but I think Cole may have just tipped him to the top. Oh how I adored this beautiful man. I loved this book.

Cole meets Yasmine on a flight and discovers she has a fear of flying. When he helps and supports her through the flight he is drawn to her beauty and there's an instant connection between them. Although this was such a sweet moment I could feel the chemistry and the relationship developing. When this results in a one night stand and Cole loses her number he's distraught in trying to find her. But fate has a way of bringing them together.

I loved Yasmine. She was so smart and I liked all the aspects of her app development. As a self professed technophobe, I found this interesting. Cole was super swoony and he had a lot to live up to as his three brothers before him were excellent but there was something about Cole that just had a certain spark. I fell for him hard and fast and I enjoyed every delicious moment with him.

I liked that the book brought closure to the series and I was able to catch up with the previous couples and get full closure in the wrapping up of it.

I cried so much at this series ending as it has had me in a complete chokehold. I know that I will come back to these swoony billionaires time and time again.

Breaking His Code was such an addictive billionaire romance with a really strong emotional connection at the center of it. The combination of the anonymous app relationship, the chance encounters, and the real-life connection between Cole and Yasmine made the romance feel layered from the start.

I really liked how the story balanced chemistry with emotional vulnerability. Cole initially comes across as controlled and guarded, but his connection with Yasmine slowly brings out a softer side that made him much more compelling than the typical billionaire MMC. Yasmine was also easy to root for, especially with the anxiety and secrets she was carrying throughout the story.

The pacing of the relationship worked really well for me because there were multiple layers to their connection — strangers on a plane, a one-night encounter, online matches, and then meeting again professionally. It kept the tension high without feeling repetitive.

I also appreciated that the emotional stakes stayed just as important as the romance. The conflict felt believable, and the story handled themes like trust, vulnerability, and fear of opening up in a way that felt genuine.

Overall, this was a romantic, emotional, and engaging billionaire romance with strong chemistry, good tension, and characters that were easy to become invested in. If you enjoy hidden identity tropes, emotionally guarded MMCs, and romance with both spice and heart, this is definitely worth picking up.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Title: Breaking His Code Series: The Billionaire Hart Brothers Series, Book 4
Author: VH Nicolson P. 336
Main Characters: Cole Hart and Yasmine Montgomery
Tropes: One night stand, second chance, conflict of interest
Book Type Reviewed: E-Book
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

And we say goodbye to the Hart Brothers. The Hart Law Firm is now run by Max, Nathan, Eli, and Cole Hart, and they try everyday to run the firm the way their father taught them. All the men are busy being some type of lawyer, Cole is the last brother standing when it comes to a relationship. He’s been burned in the past and reluctant when it comes to dating, but he does want that forever kind of love. Just when Cole least expects it, he takes a plane ride he will never forget.

Yasmine is terrified of flying and so thankful for the man that sat next to her. They hit it off from the start and had undeniable chemistry, and she really thought there might be something between them. And maybe there is…or will be, just maybe not as originally planned.

All four of the Hart brothers were a lot of fun to read about. Each with their own troubles and stories to tell. Each woman they came across fit them perfectly and brought out a side to them other than work. We don’t get quite as much banter with the brothers, they are all busy now I guess, but love when the family gets together. Lots of support and love.

ARC gifted in exchange for review.

I absolutely loved Cole in Eli’s book and honestly he’s my favorite brother so I jumped at the chance to read his story. I fear the way he and Mina may have given me unreal expectations for my next flight. Imagine meeting the kindest, most attractive man you’ve ever seen on your flight while you’re having a panic attack, and he goes out of his way to distract you. The chemistry between Cole and Mina was electric and those two were destined to meet. Reading this was a stark difference from reading Eli’s story because i actually loved both characters. Both Cole and Mina have the biggest kindest hearts, family means the world to them, they are ambitious, successful and driven. They are also both caretakers. These two are what happens when two givers find each other. I love that Cole was so respectful of Mina’s independence and supported her from the sidelines to ensure that there was no doubt that her achievements were down to her own merit and hard work. The way he showed up for her and her mum made me swoon. I really admired Mina’s passion, drive and her kind heart. It takes a lot of trust for someone like her to lean on someone and Cole’s determination to take care of her while she took care of her mum made me tear up. This was such a beautiful way to end this series and i think Cole and Mina’s love story will stick with me for a long time.

This is Book 4 in The Billionaire Hart Brothers series. They are interconnected standalones. I have only read 2 books of the 4, so far & look forward to reading the other 2!!

I LOVED this book... and Cole & Yasmine/Mina's story....

The book is fast paced. I love the characters... the main characters as well as the supporting characters. Cole's family seems so amazing & I love that the 4 brothers all work together. Family is important to both the MMC & FMC, which is really nice and they both do so much for their parents (when possible).

There was an unexpected plot twist that I did not see coming at all & I thought it was well written.

I love how Cole & Mina worked out their misunderstandings & that they figured out right away when they met & talked in person again that they were the ones talking through the app also... a double love connection of sorts. 🤩

Spice level: 3/5

*billionaire romance
*he's a lawyer
*she's a tech genius who creates apps
*starts with a one night stand
*they chat on a dating app without knowing identities
*ends with a HEA
*told in a dual 3rd person POV

Thank you to the author (VH Nicolson), publisher (Boldwood Books) & Netgalley for the ARC. All opinions are my own.

As soon as I seen this on my netgalley shelf all other reads were pushed to the side! I raaaaan 🏃🏻‍♀️

I don’t know if I’m more emotional that this is the last in the series or the last paragraph in the epilogue ripped my heart out?! 😭

This series has been one of my favourites this past year and I’ve been so grateful to be an arc reader for them all! It’s definitely gonna be a reread for me!

Right from the start of Cole & Yasmines journey you know it’s gonna be a fast paced love and it is, and I was here for it. How they both weren’t afraid to express their feelings to one another and open up! It made it so easy to read!

I also enjoy the app chats back and forth! It had the right amount where it was so much fun but not dragged out and that’s something alot of people do! So I was so happy 👏🏼

Her poor dad lol 😂 but then they say what goes around comes back around so he got his karma 💅🏼

The ending. Ugh I’m never gonna get over this! Absolutely incredible and I highly recommend it this series! 🫶🏼

Ps, the spice? 1000/10 🥵

Absolutely gripped & invested in Cole & Yasmine, I loved how fast paced this book was, just made you not want to put it down!

Cole is the youngest brother, struggling to trust again after his ex. Billionaire with tattoos and absolute heart of gold? Just perfect.

Yasmine, I loved her, her character was fantastic. She is sassy and clever, doesn’t back down!

The first meet, loved this & the connection built, the chemistry throughout was perfect. The spice was giving ❤️‍🔥 I loved the idea behind the app & getting to understand each character more, the end twist? Absolutely loved!

If you love billionaire romance, fast paced & fun read? This is for you! It is the last book of the series however I read this as a standalone and I didn’t feel like it left anything out. So can be read in order or as a standalone.

Cole Hart longs to meet the woman of his dreams and finally settle down after his disasterous last relationship. Constantly looking through dating apps for the “ideal” woman, he knows he needs to let life, and love, happen organically. Enter Yasmine, having a panic attack on Cole’s flight. After he helps her get through the flight, they have a sensual, sexy one night stand…..only for Cole to lose Mina’s number afterwards.

***Strangers to lovers
***One night stand
***Dual POV
***Tattooed MMC
***🌶️🌶️🌶️

I’ve read every book in The Billionaire Hart series, and this one was a great addition to close out the series. The chemistry between our couple was so hot, both physical and emotional. I loved our MMC Cole - might just be my favorite brother.

If you haven’t read this series, definitely check it out!

“If she’s the one, you’ll find each other again.”

The final instalment of the Hart brothers series and what an ending! I defy anyone not to tear up at the epilogue!

Cole Hart is the youngest brother and he meets nervous flyer Mina on a plane, helps her through a panic attack and from that moment she’s all he can think about. But fate has other plans and left with no way of contacting her he tries to move on. What comes next helps them really build a strong foundation to their relationship and I really enjoyed watching that happen.

Mina/ Yasmine is a strong independent woman. Sick of dating and the usual apps, she’s looking for a deeper connection and real relationship. She is a great character and perfect for Cole. I liked seeing how she fitted in with his family too, and that she fell just as hard that first night as he did.

Thank you to the author, Boldwood books and NetGalley for this ARC! I can’t wait to see what comes next from VH Nicolson.

Well what a series finale this was and in my opinion think this book was the best one to end with ❤️

Cole is the youngest of the 4 Hart Brothers and doesn’t have the best relationship history but you can feel that he wants what his brother’s have, his person! He had pretty much given up hope until the FMC Yasmine comes into his life 🥰 I am not going to give any spoilers but the way their story developed seemed like they were destined to be together 🖤

I must say I loved the way the Hart Brothers relationship between them has played out and I loved the comedy parts, I was literally laughing out loud.

The epilogue was something special and highly emotional but the way it was written was perfect!

We leave the Hart Brothers each with their HEA, it’s been a great series 🥰

Thank you VH Nicolson and Netgalley for the opportunity to review this book.

One exceptional meet cute between a terrified flyer and another passenger that talks her through her panic attack and I was on board (Pun intentional).

Both have baggage the emotional kind, not what is in the overhead locker and trust issues but they cant deny what is happening between them.

Cue the missed connection due to male stupidity. Slips of paper get lost you dimwit and I promise that's the last of my terrible puns. Then it's a question of will he get his wobbly head on straight and will she cut him a break?

I loved these two and their story, so much that I was even willing to look past my most hated trope. I'm just sad that's the end of the Hart Brothers as I've loved this series.

Although this can be read as a standalone, I definitely feel like the ending would’ve hit even harder if I had read the series in order. But did that take away from how much fun I had reading it? Absolutely not. Did I binge the entire book in one sitting? Yes… yes I did.

It was predictable, light, and genuinely fun. Half the time I was rolling my eyes because it was so obvious who they were texting, and I couldn’t understand how the characters didn’t figure it out sooner.

The story follows a couple who meet on a plane, share a one-night stand, and then lose contact. It’s cute, the romance is there, the chemistry is there, and the dialogue was honestly one of my favorite parts. The text messages especially made this such an entertaining read. Overall, I had a great time with it.

Breaking His Code is the final book in the series, focused on the youngest Hart brother, Cole. I absolutely flew through Cole and Yasmine's story because V.H. Nicolson always makes her books so easy to binge! Each book focuses on a different brother and FMC, so they can totally be read as standalones without feeling lost or like you're missing some context. It's a fun and spicy read and a great end to the series!

Oh my goodness. I loved everything about this book. I’ve read three of the four of these books and each one keeps getting better. Cole is by far the most caring and in touch with himself than the rest of his brothers. Yasmine is one smart woman and knows what she wants.
I loved how they meet and their entire story. This was an instant love that was done right and all of the twists with Mina’s dad was epic. The ending of the book was devastating though.
Really enjoyed this series. Thank you to NetGalley and Boldwood for the ARC. All opinions are my own.

This hotly anticipated final book in The Billionaire Hart Brothers series does not disappoint. I truly loved this book from the first sentence to the last paragraph. The epilogue made me cry as it was so poignant.

I loved Yasmine's character. I really liked that she was truly independent and didn't 'need' a man. I loved the Cole was confident and sweet at the same time.

I'm upset that the series is over, but I'm really looking forward to seeing what V. H. Nicholson writes next!

ARC in exchange for review ✨

I loved Cole’s story and getting to know him more after seeing glimpses of his personality throughout the series. I honestly felt like this was a great way to finish off. The yearning that was involved was top tier and the spice was written so well. I am a sucker for a hidden/mistaken identity trope which I felt like this fit into. This was classic he falls first and he fell HARD. Loved it and was a 4* read for me.
