A fantastic debut book! I haven't been sucked into a book as quickly or as thoroughly in a long time as I was with this book! The setting is vibrant and colorful - the concept of muse touched gifting individuals with almost magical like talent is intriguing and handled very well. Dorian is a protagonist to root for - I love that while he's not perfect, he tries to do what is right and stands up for truth and justice even when its dangerous. Lydian is strong and capable without being overbearing, and she and Dorian work very well together - and I find myself hoping their romance will blossom!
This is an extremely well written story with rich characters, a vibrant setting, and a full and exciting storyline and I very much look eagerly forward to further stories in the Muses's War setting and from Wally! Well done!
