A story that is continually unravelling. An adventure of a woman and young girl that are on a journey. Both of their worlds have been turned upside down by events which they have no control. The story is about healing and connection in a world where these basic needs have been lost. The people and circumstances which they encounter along the way. They face loneliness, rely on their tenacity to survive and experience friendships good and bad. The story begins in a place named Mistywoods and ends up in the highlands of Scotland at Snowdrop Valley. They travel throughout the country and take time to trust people and each other. Along the way they build up relationships and become closer.

Two strangers share a moment in their lives when they meet for a brief moment in time. One carries a secret with her and that is not revealed until the end of the book. Ellsa is always searching, looking over the next hill, around the next corner. Kasey is an impressionable, delicate, fragile young girl, relying on the kindness of strangers. The story ends with them finding the last snowdrop in Snowdrop Valley. The secret finally revealed along with the simple things in life. The moments that can give the most enjoyment, are where strong friendships are cultivated and trust earned.
