My Thoughts

I was gifted this book in return for an honest review.

This book starts right where the last one ended.. and straight into the action. This book was fast paced with lots of action and hot situations! I love the fact this story continues with the strengthening of Mara and Logan's relationship, Logan helping Mara to overcome her experiences to realise that she is completely safe with him and their son. Mara really seems to grow in this instalment of the series, with an unexpected surprise.

I love Cameron's character. For a 13 year old he is extremely wise beyond his years and when given the chance grows a good relationship with his mother.

With all the action and suspense this book has been thrilling read!

This is such an incredible series!. The characters are awesome!. The men are super hot and the women spunky spitfires lol . The story lines for this series fantastic!. In this book and book one you will find Suspense, action , super amazing romance and even hot sex scenes!.
With this book Cameron which is Mara and Logan's son gets kidnapped which will set off a chain of events in the Beast Realm. The Beast Realm seems to be threatened from all different directions. Can Mara and Logan rescue Cameron, protect the Beast Realm and build their relationship?. Or will things go very wrong?. This is an amazing good vs evil type of book.It will keep you on your toes making you want to read more and more!. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves Suspense and action with their romance!. I can not wait for book three Logan's Redemption to come out!. Exactly as when I finished with Mara’s Homecoming: Episode I – I need the next episode (#3) right now!
Audra Hart has done it again with this 2nd look into the lives of Mara, Logan, their teenage son Cameron and a whole cast of Celtic shifters, Greek weres, old gods, death wraiths, witches, fates, mates & future mates.
As a fan of paranormal, romantic, erotic, dark, uplifting, intriguing, lost love found, forgiving, fast-moving stories that have kick-ass females next to their alpha males, you will love this as much as I did.
This book touches on Cameron’s depths of power, both now and future. Mara’s varied & extensive powers are explored, as well as more healing between her mate, Logan, and herself.

This book could be read as a stand-alone, if you read the synopsis, but it is better if you read Mara’s Homecoming: Episode I first. It is beautifully written and as I stated at the beginning of this review … I need Episode III now!

I was given a complimentary copy for an honest review by author Audra Hart. This is part 2 of the Beast Realm Chronicles by the author.

Mara and Logan's son, Cameron, is kidnapped by the enemies daughter but Keres wants to help them against her mother Nyx because of who her mother kidnapped, her very own daughter. They all know that it will not be an easy thing to do but they are willing to do what ever they have to do to get the job done.

Wow, the authors filled this part with action, drama and romance. I love how the author is bringing Mara out of her abused state with Logans help because it shows love.

This book is for mature paranormal romance book lovers because of the sexual content, D/S situations and the effects of being abused. This is part 2 and it is best to read part 1 of the series first because where part 1 leaves off part 2 starts.

This book jumps right into the action where the first book leaves off. Logan and Mara are still hot and passionate as they work to reestablish their trust in each other. In the midst of their reconciliation, their 13 yr old son Cameron is kidnapped by blood wraiths. Getting their son back is only the beginning of the problems that face this couple as they discover a new enemy that has their sights set on the beast realm. Logan and Mara must call upon their friends to plan a rescue mission that has been destined to fail.
What I enjoyed about this book was the bond between Logan and Mara and the appearance of some characters from the Airendell Chronicles. I look forward to seeing what happens next in this new PNR series.

When the first instalment ended with Cameron being kidnapped, I fully expected this book to be about his rescue - hence the title. It IS about his rescue, but not of himself. Surprising storyline!

I love how Mara grew as a character in this one (all the characters showed growth, but none more so than Mara) and when she's finally able to open up about her past (after some pretty HAWT scenes) you feel like she has gained strength from it, rather than lost anything else.

Of course it doesn't hurt that Logan is a truly devoted mate, who loves her completely, emotional scars and all.

The ending was absolutely intriguing and I can't wait to read the next instalment when it's available!

I was gifted this book by the author for an honest review.

Mara's homecoming happiness is short lived when her son Cameron is Kidnapped and this puts into motion a very risky rescue.

Mara's very unique abilities are revealed and she finally comes to term with her horrible ordeals as she shares them with Logan.

What is discovered during the rescue is a real shocker, but what does it mean now for the realm?

I really like how the author uses Gods from Greek Mythology in her Beast Realm Chronicles.

I can't wait to read Episode 3 in this very explosive and endearing story.

Lots of action, mystery and hot passion.

I have enjoyed this book tremendously. I am looking forward to when Logan's Redemption, the third book in this series comes out to that I can read it too. Now I need to get the first one and catch up on some history and then get to reading the Airendell Chronicles too as they coincide with this series. I just absolutely loved the ending of this one. It had me chuckling and say "oh holy crap". I do not think there was any better way to end this book, that was such an ingenious way to end it. So if you wanna know what I am talking about then guess you better go get this book and start reading to find out. You will not be disappointed.

I read the first book of the Beast realm Chronicles because it was a free book posted on Facebook by a friend. After reading it I couldn't wait for book 2. This story and the characters involved were amazeballs!! Mara is such a strong woman because of everything she went through at the hands of Logan's father and his cronies. Logan loves her deeply, you can tell. However, he still doubts his mate because old habits die hard. Cameron is growing up and starting to develop his unique powers, being a hybrid shifter. The action was just enough, the sex is dominating, and the story just keeps getting better.

This title has more than one meaning I think. One, he is rescued, but, two, he rescues someone too. I don't want to say much, you have to read this book. I think Cameron really comes into his own here. He grows up a bit more than he already is. This is definitely what I call a bridge book. It connects us, or rather sets us up for the third book in the series. A lot of action happens here. Mara, Logan, and Cameron have major things happen to set up for the next book. Very crucial.

Wow.... Loved it. Starts off with of course Cameron being kidnapped and in need of being recused. They find out a lot of what's going on this book past and future and some past items from the previous book that was explained but vaguely. So if you want a sex induced coma plus adventure you got it in this one.

Cameron seems to be pretty down to earth and beyond happy that his mom has come into his life. His world is turned upside down when he is kidnapped. His mom is totally upset that her boy has been kidnapped and is ready to wage war. Cameron is able to get himself and his kidnapper back to his ranch to calm down his folks.

As Cameron sits back and watches the other immortals come and go, his mom and dad reconnect, he is wondering what his role will be.

Such responsibility on a young man, when he is suddenly understanding - gut instinct - that he is the one to rescue Keres' daughter. Such a great read.

Love the series. It just gets more intense with each book. And the love of the two main characters keeps getting stronger. And the scenes can get pretty steamy. Due to that, I highly suggest the series for mature readers only.

Each book ends with a surprise. Can't wait for what book three will bring. Good versus evil with weres, shifters, gods and even a few vampires. You just never know who will be in the book next.

I voluntarily read and reviewed a copy of the book.

Cameron's Rescue held my attention captive from the first sentence. This is exactly the kind of paranormal adventure I have been dying to get my book loving paws on! There is more action in the second installment than the first and it is a paranormal high. Blood Wraiths and magic make their entrance forming a delicious plot. But wait there is more! How would you feel about a wonderful inclusion of the goddess Nyx?! I went from fan girling to flat out giddy in 0.5 seconds!  I may have liked Mara's Homecoming,  but I could easily become obsessive over Cameron's Rescue.  It is also faster paced and on point more than book one. I've seen authors gradually make improvements with their works,  but Audra Hart leaped into greatness.

The conflict Mara has faced in the past with her abuse is painted into the background as she comes into the role of a hard core, but compassionate heroine/leader. The transformation she takes on is exquisite.

Cameron is extremely mature and understanding for his age. He not only plays the role of a genius,  but guided by his loving father and his abilities as an empath, it becomes more evident at what an incredible character he is in the story.

Another 4 Stars for Audra Hart!

NOT AS GOOD

While I did like this book to some degree, I feel there is more emphasis on sex, sex, sex between the main characters rather than the actual story. The additional characters which keep on showing up need to have more development but this would be served better by less of them. Nothing is worse than too many characters. It just gets confusing. And the title does not match the story...Cameron is rescued within the first 3 chapters and now they are about to rescue a young girl who is in the clutches of Nyx, the ultimate evil witch!

All in all it is not a bad story but much more development was needed.

As I've complained about before with other books, the grammar goes way out of wack in too many places. I wonder if these books are proofread at all before they are published??

I won this book in a facebook event and have to say - I have another author to add to my MUST read list. This story has well developed characters who ride the entire rollercoaster of emotions. Shifters, gods of myth & legend, good vs evil, magic, acceptance, forgiveness and courage to move forward can all be found in this story. I started book 3 as soon as I finished this because I could not wait to see what was going to happen next.
