I heard about this book on a podcast and was intrigued by the argument that was presented during the podcast -- Samson should be understood as a Biblical hero, not a cautionary tale that God used despite Samson's flaws.
The book is simply a mess. There are typos throughout, the author is repetitive and mostly relies upon assertions of what we should believe about Samson as opposed to any real engagement with the biblical text, and there are random allusions to philosophy and literature scattered throughout the book without any real connection to a developed argument.
One of the most disappointing experiences I've ever had with a book.
