This was a great love story. Two very competitive people afraid to lose control when their worlds collide into each other. He a rich arrogant cowboy who has the world at his feet in his small town. Everyone afraid to say no to him, then she tumbles in from nowhere to claim her inheritance, a worn ranch. Could he get her to sell? How would she fit in around town? I really enjoyed reading this hilarious story. Highly recommend reading this book!
This was nice… they finally got there; but I felt it could have been hotter or sexier if the msc could have been described in more detail. If not for the cover, she could have been any race. Me being a Black woman in my own interracial marriage, I prefer to rad books that connect with me or may reflect my relationship of commitment. I may read another book by this author, but I hope her next book can bring it. I know I may sound silly, but I like books with HEAs.
There was a lot of "smirking" going on in this book. None the less, I really enjoyed. It has been a long time since I've completely enjoyed a Samantha Drake book. This book reminds me of her earlier work. There seems to be more care unlike the last couple of books. I'm hoping Colt and Maya get their own book. They seem like they would have the readers laughing.
Zoe came there broken and optimistic. The place needed way more than she had to give but she pushed through. She didn't know that she didn't have to do it alone. A certain cowboy came in like a white knight but she wasn't looking to be saved. Her stubbornness didn't stop him from restoring her place or her heart
This book was pretty good! I love bwwm cowboy romances! They are usually really good. I haven't been disappointed yet. Samantha Drake is a really good author also. I love reading her interracial novels. James and Zoe was a kinda slow burn but worth it. Great job!
