This was such a cute friends to lovers rom-com. It was a short and sweet read; I could not put it down. The characters were so fun and relatable. I wanted to be their friends!
The only reason for missing a half star is I didn't love the miscommunication trope.

Perfect for a summer beach read! If you're looking for something light, funny, and a little bit messy in the best way—*The Joke’s On You* totally fits the bill. This novella has jealousy, awkward moments, and a main character you’ll root for (even when she’s making questionable choices). Toss it in your beach bag—you won’t regret it!

I really enjoyed this. The antics of the trio, romance, and depth of the characters kept me turning the pages.
