OMG!!! I got drunk on these books, once I started book 1 there was no stopping me, I read 4 of the books in a day. It was an epic unputdownable adventure, i was immersed into a world of magic where i drank in every bit of electrifying magic with a thirsty mind.

The characters were fab, the storyline mind blowlingly good and well executed. The author had me hooked from the very first chapter and keep me on the edge of my seat, my eyes couldn't scan the words fast enough. It was so addictive i fished book 1 at around 1 pm started book 2 had to go to work, finished work at 12 am read until 3.30 am starting book 3 around 1am. woke up at 9 and finished book 3, started book for went for a hospital appointment with my son and finished book 4 before 4pm.

Highly recommend.

This review is for all four books in this set.
I have read many books in this genre but this is a different storyline that I have not read before. I like the premise of all the different species, of there being a monarchy, of them all being in a school together. I sat anxiously while I read waiting and waiting to learn what powers Eden might have and I kept wondering when are we going to meet the other half, is it this person, is it that person, it was better than expected. I still don’t know what to think of Kiran, one minute I like him, one minute I don’t like him, one minute I really don’t like him, then the next minute I’m happy, but then at the end I feel like I can’t trust him. I’m anxious to see what happens next.

The book was an emotional roller coaster ride. I have to be honest I don’t really like Kiran and at the end of the book I can’t stand him at all but I think he’s been a jerk this whole series. I don’t understand why the author wants him and Eden together, Jericho would have been so much better for her. Even if somehow Kiran does all good from this point forward how will she ever forgive him for attacking her family. I was so frustrated with Eden during this whole story, how she didn’t see what was happening right in front of her. I gave the story three stars only because there were parts of this book that were interesting and good as long as it didn’t surround Eden and Kiran’s relationship.

I have so many mixed feelings about this book, there are parts that I love, there are parts that I hate, there are parts that frustrate me, parts that anger me, and parts that drag. I love when Eden is so devoted to getting her brother out, at times though she acts without even thinking and makes things worse. I think she is selfish at times and I think she’s very fickle, so now all of a sudden she loves Jericho so deeply. really, I know that she is brokenhearted over what Kiran did in her eyes but i’m afraid that she is with Jericho for the wrong reasons. I cannot stand Lucan, he needs to be gone already. I do like the change in Sebastian, and I enjoy their friendship. I’m really curious to see what happens in this next book.

This last book surrounding Eden and Kiran has come to a beautiful end. This book was full of some action, alot of heartache, angst, and at times frustration with Eden and Kiran. Once again I could have don without the so called “love triangle “. The book felt a little long, it seemed the little game Lucan played with Eden with threatening others to control her got pretty old. I was surprised at the introduction of a few new characters and man did it shake some things up. I love seeing some new things happening for Sebastian, Lilly, and Talbott. The end of an evil crazy person was a long time coming and now we wait and see what happens to all of the characters we have come to love and their people.

One of the best series I have ever read.

Wow! I can't find words for the magnificence of this story!! There are a few errors, grammatically, but it's as close to perfect as it comes.

The character development in these books are unprecedented. I've never read a story with so much personal growth from almost every character. It makes the characters so real and endearing, it's impossible not to fall in love with each and every one of them.

Eden is flawed in so many ways. Stubborn, self absorbed, selfish, bitter. But she overcomes so much and has a true change of character and overcomes all odds to be the woman she was meant to be.

Kiran, Jericho, Avalon... So many amazing men in this story! I hate giving away details during a review... But I'll just say that the men in these books with star in all of your dreams!

If you haven't read the Star-crossed series, I don't know what you're waiting for. If you like romance, action, suspense, mystery, an oppressed community rising above tyranny and a love unlike anything you've read before - this story is for you.

I will re-read these books many times. I wouldn't be surprised if my read counts of Star-crossed rivals how many times I've read Harrry Potter one day. It's a story I will share with everyone I know and cherish forever

I can't even begin to tell you how much this series annoyed me. I should have stopped after the first book but I hate unfinished stories so I finished it.

Eden and Avalon are twins who are hidden by their parents to keep them safe because they are the last true immortals and must save the supernatural community. However...for some reason her brother is clued in and she isn't so her magic is exploding out and causing damage but no one sees fit to tell her anything. Why would you tell one child and not the other.

Eden is a simpering idiot attracted to the "wrong boy", Kieran. So much trope it makes me ill. He eventually betrays her and she spends her time angry with him but eventually does the "right thing" and forgives him. What?!? Keiran plays hot and cold moody boy

Supposedly she's the last oracle but she never has visions, never predicts anything which leads me to believe that the author has no idea what an oracle represents.

Eden is supposed to be all powerful but is a continual victim who is unable to protect herself or those who love her. This is not the kind of heroine I'd want my daughter to emulate. Give me a kick-ass heroine any day.

It was alright.

I read this twice because I read it back when it first came out then forgot what it was about so when I saw it on my kindle list I decided to refresh my memory.

Slight spoilers. This story is definitely a light read. This is a story where everything works out. Not much depth to the characters. Eden in incredibly self centered. Despite obvious signs around her, she can’t figure anything out about what’s happening outside of her own selfish mind. The “vicious” king who, in character, should have killed and tortured way more people but instead remains MIA until needed to further the plot. It was predictable and the dialogue was bland but I guess it wasn’t horrible to give it any less stars.

Holy moly!!!

This entire series, I could not put it down! And when I did, I was constantly wanting to pick it back up just so I could continue to read it. There are very few books that have me doing that.

Right from the start, the series grabs you. You are throw lm into a world that has magic and immortals. You get sucked into their world. And you will never want to come out of that world. Get this series now!!

A solid 3 star read

So, the books had the possibility of being a 4+ star read, but the author dropped the ball. While the concept was creative enough and the author is skilled-some of it was redundant. The series could have easily been a trilogy and there felt like a decent amount of fluff or unnecessary details. I found myself skimming over pages and PAGES of nothingness. Also, the love triangle was unnecessary and the main character was whiny

Three Stars is a good Review

This was a pretty good book! It had some character development and pacing issues, but it all worked itself out in the end. It’s very predictable and a little cheesy and cliched at times, but sometimes that’s what you want in the moment and in the end it made me smile and laugh. What else really matters :)

YA Romance

OMG! This is one of the best YA Romances/Thrillers/Suspense group of novels that I have ever read. Ongoing action, not a dull moment. And the characters are imperfect in their perfection. Thank you for writing this series!!!!

One of the best series I have come across lately. Very clean, no swearing, no sex, but not so boring that those of us that aren't up for that don't want to read. The story is a teenage romance, a roller coaster, some juvenile choices, but it's amazing. I highly recommend this series.

Wonderful read

Entertaining, well written, story. Magic is in the air and love is the grounds of it’s all. Growing from star crossed teen to the magic of adulthood with a oppressive king/father. Learning to trust the love and the ones you love.

Book hangover

I'm not sure how I keep finding myself getting sucked into YA books but I'm glad I did. I literally couldn't put this series down. I was not ready for the book to end. I loved to hate Kiran, but happy in the end. Great read!!

Great Story

Great story although the main character needs stability. The book need editing. There are several grammatical and spelling errors that are distracting.

Seriously this, book felt like, someone, took a bucket of , commas and threw them, on a blank canvas of words, hoping maybe they might , find the, correct places.

I can't believe the sheer number of errors in this text. Commas where they shouldn't have been, none where they should have been. About 17% of the way through the book I was shocked to see a sentence written properly. I literally stopped reading for a second because of it.

I started reading this because someone I admire absolutely loved the series. I barely made it through the first book, but I was determined to find what she loved so much about it.

There were so many things I disliked about this story. The first and hardest to get through was the lack of editing. The commas, incorrect words being used, big, pretentious words put in when more simple words made more sense, improper formatting towards the end of the books, the fact that conversations would take place but I could barely tell who was speaking because of how poor the grammar was. For instance, the MC might be speaking, but after the ending quotation, instead of saying something like ' ," I said. ' it would say ' ," Avalon looked across the room and smiled at me. ' It made things very hard to follow.

Another thing I couldn't take was the teenage angst. I don't know how many times Eden stomped her foot and crossed her arms or acted more like a pre-teen spoiled brat than a sixteen year old. But Eden wasn't the only one who acted like this. All of the other characters seemed to act the same way and there wasn't much to differentiate how she acted compared to how Avalon, Jericho or any number of other characters acted. In fact, in book 3, Eden's father - who is supposed to be hundreds of years old - acts just like his teenage daughter by using 'like' in his sentence. It was so totally, like, ridiculous.

The one saving grace was that the story itself got mildly entertaining somewhere in the middle of book 2, and while it took a lot to get past all the issues I had with these books, by #4 I was actually somewhat interested in the storyline. I would love to see how this would have read had the author invested in an editor to help with some of the horrendous errors in the text. Maybe then the teenage angst and other unbelievable aspects would have been tolerable.

This is one of my favourite series of all time. When I first got my kindle and became introduced to the world of indie authors, I snatched up the first book in this series for free and was instantly hooked. Luckily for me the next book was already out and I devoured that book in record time. I also proceeded to ugly cry so hard my husband questioned my sanity. I only had to wait a little bit for the 3rd book, and developed a fear for how the series would end. NOTHING went as I expected it, and yet I was so in love with where it was going. The fear was wondering how a series that had captured me so unfailingly could possibly have a final book that lived up to my great expectations. And then Endless Magic came out. I honestly still don't know how Ms. Higginson did it. Honestly. But it was just perfection. I've since gone back and reread the series multiple times, and found I fell in love with the books even more. So to finally see the box set out -- I can't stress enough what a fabulous deal this is. If you love paranormal books, with some delicious romance, sarcasm, hilarious characters, stressful pull your hair out plot twists, and a kickass heroine -- then I'm not sure why you're still reading this review, and not one-clicking so you can enjoy it as much as I did. Heck, go buy the first book (it's free), and then I know you'll be back to snatch the rest up. :)

Captivating series!!

Once I starting reading the first book, ..I was captivated from the first chapter. Rachel Higginson is an inspirational author and would lover to read more of her future books. The words in her books hypnotize you and makes you feel like you are actually in the book. I love Eden and how she has a big heart. I wasn't sure about Kiran after his betrayal to Eden but obviously he made it work and there was more to it that she stubbornly didn't want to hear or think. Very strong female role Higginson described for Eden!! Thank you Rachel for an amazing star-crossed series!!

Aw, love love love this series and now it's all in one place ! These books were the first of Rachel's I read and I've been hooked on her writing ever since. Like one of the other reviews said she really knows how to write a first kiss, she builds suspense and develops her characters so well - if you don't absolutely love this and immediately want to read more of her stuff I'll be amazed. And when you do, you're going to want to check out Love And Decay, the Siren and Starbright Series and her fab collaboration with Lila Felix, the Forged in Fire series. Ready. Set. Go !

Story 5 stars, editing 2.

First off, I truly enjoyed reading this series. I could even consider reading more of her work, but not with all of the grammatical errors that has me going back to re-read lines over again trying to figure out what word(s) didn't belong. Her editor and proof readers failed miserably in their task of cleaning things up to the point that it takes away from the engrossing story Higgins puts before us. The first book in this series didn't have these issues, otherwise I never would've made it to book 4.

More than I expected

When I started out reading this series, I expected a silly high school romance story with some magic thrown in for dramatics. The depth of the story was much more than expected and the actual storyline led so many different paths than just the love story. I can't wait to read the other books in this world!
