The Omega Group has one purpose: to save mankind from preternatural and supernatural threats. After all, it takes one to know one, right?

Being sent home to investigate a rash of unusual events at the Grand Canyon is a mission Carter Mockta would really like to avoid. He’s worked long and hard to forget his past and the reasons why he first joined the Omega Group. Unfortunately, missing people, tourists losing time, and unexplained auras are problems that can’t be ignored.

Thrust into the middle of a tribal war that began over a thousand years ago when a God granted a single wish, Carter and his team must put an end to the vicious feud and scramble to survive as the ancient past, troubled present, and not-so-distant future collide.

The Grand Canyon holds many secrets, but one of them is far more sinister than anyone knows.

I'm a massive fan of these books from the beginning I was hooked and this book was just as good, I really enjoyed learning more about Carter and also the tribes.
While the omega group are investigating, your sitting there reading looking at the little clues to try and read between the lines to discover who's behind the bad activity going on and I really enjoyed it not being straightforward. Everything's not as it seems :) which keeps you hooked and wanting more.
I love the guys from the omega group, you cannot dislike anyone it's impossible. My favourite is mirissa and Greco but I'm a big fan of Han and myrick.
Another great story from this author cannot wait for the next instalment have a feeling it's going to be just as great maybe even Better as mirissa and her special gifts are getting stronger :)

Though I enjoyed the first Omega Group book, Mirissa's character wasn't very well-rounded and the love interest between her and Greco felt a little forced. However, I loved this second book- and even started to like Mirissa and Greco more, too. I've read the whole series at this point and was pleasantly surprised to find I continued to enjoy all the characters and books as they went on.

I received a digital copy of this book from the author via Book Review Buzz in exchange for my honest and unbiased review. Thanks for the copy! All are my own opinion and is not compensated by any individual, organization, or company. This might contain minor spoilers.

MIRISSA IN THE NEW LIGHT

I think I forgot to mention in the review of the first book that I did not really like Mirissa's personality. She did not reach me that well for me to enjoy her. I do not fully buy her love team with Greco. It's like there's not enough depth for real love to actually form. Who knows, maybe the novella 'Greco' is all I need. Haven't read it anyway.

But oh well... Mirissa, I'm starting to like you now. Just do not engage too much on flirty acts with Greco.

EASY READ!

Andrea's way of writing is borderline professional--thus making it easy to read. I made a friend of mine read a few chapters and she too told me that it is easy to read and understand. My friend likes reading books she could understand without having to figuratively memorize all the Dictionary's words and its meaning. Her writing is smooth and I did not even felt confused nor lost in any moment of any part or any scene. This book is so much better than its precedent. I couldn't believe there's only 1 star difference between them. Makes me rethink of the 1st book's rating.

ROMEO AND JULIET IN SUPERNATURAL WORLD

This installment focuses a little bit more on Carter's past life and its connection on his team's mission. We saw Romeo in Carter and Juliet in Gina. Two individuals from feuding tribes that were separated by ill intentions. Their story carries a very fresh yet tragic flavor that is so fascinating to read. Though, that's not really the focus here!! But I still like reading their story. They should have their own book!

CARTER, HAN, BEN, LOU

Ha! I was totally giggling when these guys are on the scene. I love their humour. I totally love it. Han and Kell are a comical couple. I love seeing them hanging around. Give the comical couple more comical exposure please! It would be fun, too if Ben and Lou will stick around Carter's team and tease Carter around. I'd love to see how Carter will develop his relationship with the two boys given the fact that he harbors hate and love for the brothers respectively.

FULL OF ACTION

It is full of action to the point where dullness could not penetrate anymore. Each one of the chapters are all engaging. Amazing.

The author is significantly making a development and I must say this is her best work so far! Hope the excitement level never fades. I seriously do not want to be disappointed when I read the next series. Yes, I will read it.

Best Action Paranormal Romance I've read in early 2015 and definitely recommended to everyone!

– Much better than the first book for me! -
This book was a lot of fun! It didn’t change my life or took me to places I’ve never been before, but it was absolutely entertaining. In truth, I was a little fearful of reading this book, because I didn’t enjoy Crossfire (Mirissa as a character especially) as much as I would’ve liked. But I’m very glad I picked this up!
This second book in the series revolves around Carter Mockta, one of the oldest members of the Omega Group, who is a wolf shape-shifter with a Native American background. And he is a great character! Multidimensional and flawed, yet still a true hero. In this mission he has to go back to his home village, a Native American Reservation in the Grand Canyon. And, although I’m no expert, you can tell everything in this book was amazingly well researched (the author actually talks about it after the book ends, and it’s so interesting!).
The book had a great mixture of paranormal and scientific elements, as well as adventure and personal mysteries and developments. There is a great ensemble of heroic characters – paranormal and just plain (awesome) normal -, and I really enjoyed getting to know all of them. I especially LOVED Han! He is funny and witty, and I enjoyed every scene he took part. This wasn’t a one-person-show kind of book, and that was the best part of the book for me, along with the Native American lore. Mirissa did have a part in the adventures, but she didn’t do all the saving, which was wonderfully refreshing. There are some great plot twists – which I saw coming, but didn’t mind because the story was very well written.
Yes, it is still very “super-hero” in the sense that nothing too bad ever really happens, but it is done in a much deeper way than it was in Crossfire. Over all, this book really surprised me in a great way! I also think it might work as a stand-alone, FYI.
My rating: 3.5/5
Would I read it again? Probably not, but it was fun!
Will I read the next one in the series? Sure, if they are anything like this one.
Do I recommend it? Yes, to fans of Urban Supernatural/Fantasy adventures. They aren’t particularly mature books, so people 12 years old and up would enjoy it (for parents out there: there are issues with anger and abortion, but they are all handled very tastefully, I think).

Rogue The Omega Group Series Book 2 by Andrea Domanski

Carter Mockta is on his way home with his Omega team and knows that the mission is first but that his return will probable start a lot of problems. Once landed Carter and the Omega group is caught up in a mystery that is taking both the Havasupai tribe and the Yavapai tribe into a war. People are missing then some turning up days later with no memory of what is going on. Who is kidnapping the people and trying to start a war. On the one hand the Havasupai have a history of wolf shifting and now there is rumor that the Yavapai have bear shifters. This is dangerous. One lone park ranger seems to hold the key and is trying to investigate on her own. One government general with a secret base up in the Park Mountains says he will help, or is he just providing a smoke screen to something more dangerous? Carter’s Omega group finally get a look at the man that they have depended on to have their back and what they find will open up even another mystery in the canyon area. Join Carter and Mirissa on another mission to find out who really has gone rogue. Fast action and lots of paranormal activity will keep your imagination on fast speed. You will not want to stop reading and once done you will be anxious to see what happens next to the Omega Group.

I was given digital copy of this book for an honest review. Even though I had not read the previous books, I had no problem understanding what was happening. I really enjoyed the book. The Omega Group has been sent to Carter's home, which he is not happy about. Strange things have been happening, such as member from both of the tribes have gone missing, tourist are found not remembering what happened or where they are. Over fives years ago Carter was forced to leave his family and home. The members of the Omega Group all have paranormal abilities. Then there is the facility that is near by where they are supposedly making super soldiers along with the two tribes blaming the other for everything that has happened. The characters are well developed and some of them are funny. The action is quick moving and keeps you trying to figure out who is doing what. I will let you read the book to see who/what is has been really causing all the problems. For a fun, fast read, with intrigue and many different paranormals working together with humans to bring this story together. I highly recommended this book, especially for a summer read.

★★★★★
The Omega Group are preternatural men and women who police the Others who cause trouble.
Carter is a Navajo from the Havasupia tribe. This tribe have the ability to shift into wolf form. The mission Carter and his team are going on will bring him face to face with his past. Strange happenings on and around the reservation mean that Omega must investigate.
Ancient tribal animosity, petty jealousy and lies make the job difficult. Add in a secret government and the whole thing becomes lethal.

This is the second book in the series and it would be better to read them in order, so that you understand the team members special abilities. All the characters are heroes in their own very different ways. There is a little gentle romance and lots of exciting action and adventure. A marvellous fun read.

I received this book for an honest review and want to say thank you.

This is the first time of reading a book by Ms Domanski and really enjoyed it! Her stye is easy to read, comprehend, entertining and fast paced. The setting of the southwest and the Indian tribes are well researched and the reader can feel the heat and dust as they read the story.

The characters are well rounded, strong individuals. The Omega Group works together as a well oiled machine, even as things go wrong. Ms Domanski's paranormal story has love, hi-tech, adventure and shifters. Although Rogue is part of a series, it can easily be read alone and make sense. I enjoyed Rogue so much I got the rest of the series. I'm looking forward to read more of her books.

This book was not as good as the first in the series for me. Maybe that is because it revolves around animal (eg. wolf) shifters, and that is not really a subject that appeals much to me. After I set that aside, I still enjoyed the book. I have to say that this writing about "animal shifters" was much better than I expected. It didn't seem as cheesy as I always thought they would. This story in the Omega Group series takes place near the Grand Canyon and involves Native American characters. I like how this series keeps adding new supernatural elements to each book, and their group gets more diverse. Overall, a good book, especially for those who like shifters and super-heroes.

Wolf and bear shifters letting go of the past and working together.

Even though the main villain was obvious, the characters and storyline were enjoyable. I liked the Native American story about how the wolf shifters were created and why the bear shifters were given their abilities. It is a series that I hope to continue. It is a story about lovers from enemy tribes being torn from each other through betrayal. Then of course you have two military agencies with different agendas. I was given this ebook in exchange for an honest review.

Wow I received Rogue from Andrea Domanski this morning. I really enjoy reading extremely well written Fantasy as a genre. I was extremely impressed with fact and the fiction throughout the story. I haven't yet read the first book but can't wait to read it and reread Rouge. I just absolutely enjoyed the story and the characters. The scenery described I could just about felt the rush of the wind on the hilltop village. Absolute must read.

Rogue

If you enjoy fast paced action with a paranormal twist, this is the read for you. I thoroughly enjoy the storyline of wolf and bear shifters fighting for the good cause. An added bonus was the fact that the main character was Navajo. And the mysticism of the Native American is woven throughout. I received a copy of this book free in exchange for leaving an honest review

This is the second volume of the Omega Group series, and concentrates on Carter, the Native American shape-shifter, when the mission takes the team back to the area where his tribe is located. In the process we find out about his estrangement from the tribe and his father, the chief, along with his lost love from another rival tribe. Like the first in the series, this is a light and easy read with entertaining characters.

Interesting

Your description of prehistoric events is.........unique. Your El Tovar and the one I've known don't match. Your description of the Havasupai attitude is spot on. Otherwise your writing skills continue to be acceptable.
