What is the price MINNIE must pay for loving her husband so blindly? And what’s SAMIYAH to do when boyfriend #2 doesn’t take GERRAN, the other man in her life, too kindly? Now that SLEEPY is home, he learns he’s not there alone. His brother’s in bed with his girlfriend. ELI’s on the verge of losing his nerve because he doesn’t like the taste of his own medicine.
As it happens in life, the eyes often deceive. What some think is real, could be make-believe. But there will be punishments for the deceitful webs that they weave. And some will be trapped in situations they can’t leave.
The drama is thick and the betrayal is deep. Because LOVE KNOWS NO BOUNDARIES when Karma’s Unleashed!
Love sure knows no boundaries among these characters
Wow is all I could say. Some took a serious hit once karma came around and was unleashed. Acacia had every chance to let Sleepy know the truth and still lied. What should've never occurred only intensified and complicated things. I couldn't believe Diego held onto his jealousy for so long when he could've just told his brother what was what. I wasn't expecting Acacia to snap the way she did and she should've accepted the role she played in her situation. Samiyah had entirely too much going on with her. She got over on more than one thugga and expected things to be alright once it was revealed. I was glad Eli was there to help Samiyah get out of her funk and I just knew there would me no more problems once things were going right again. Just when Eli decides to take things differently, he's hit with yet another reminder of why his mentality is the way it is. Minnie played the fool for way too long and it was long overdue for her to rid herself of G'Corey. G'Corey didn't appreciate the good woman he had and caused himself more problems by not putting everything out in the open. I like Yuri and after that ending I hope everything is alright. Tracie sure is dumb for love but I hope she thinks long and hard about what she's doing. I can't wait to get into part 3 and see if love still knows no boundaries and how much more will happen when other truths come out.
Coffee did an amazing job with this book. I love the friendship between the ladies and their banter is hilarious. There is so much going on its hard to put the book down because you can't wait to see what happens next.
Wow!!! Samiyah's bad luck turned worse and her love life was is a definite turmoil. G'Corey finally realizes that he has a good thing at home with his wife Minnie and he makes moves to change his old ways. Tracie and Kawanna are both still crazy as hell and Acacia gets a taste of her own medicine. The cliffhanger at the end definitely had my mouth hitting the floor. About to start book 3 now
It’s been said that a woman cannot change a man, however there is one woman that each man encounters that makes him want to change himself to be a better man for her. Such was the case with Millie and G’Corey. This quiet, innocent church girl was just the thing that thugged out G’Corey needed to set him on the straight and narrow path. Unfortunately for him the decision he made to change and fly right came after too many ill deeds had been done. Just when it seemed that all was as it should be, life as he knew it came to a screeching halt as all the lies, cheating and dirt he’s done, even up to the recent past, was exposed. Minnie is left having the tough choice to make of forgiving and forgetting his trespasses or counting this time with him as a loss and major lessons learned.
Acacia’s fiery temper has finally driven the love of her life away, ripping her heart into shreds. But his return into her life is anything but the fairytale ending she hoped it would be, as issues from his past came to stand front and center in their lives begging to be exposed. What’s done in the dark is nothing like it seems to be once the light of day hits, but how do they move on and have the life they’ve both been longing for and finally put it all behind them?
Samiyah was the type of woman any man would want. Too bad the man who had her left her far too long without her needs being met, sending her right into the arms of another man. When things come to an explosive and heartbreaking end for this lover’s triangle, Samiyah is left hurting, alone and broken. Luckily for her, she has friends who stick close to her and shield her from as much pain as possible. Time passes and life is all right again. Just when it seems that she can put it all behind her and start anew, there’s yet another bomb waiting to drop. But will she leave this encounter unscathed?
Elias is just that guy: sexy, attractive, smooth, wealthy and a sexual beast. He’s also a faithful and devoted friend whose loyalty to the female population is specific to only one lady in his life. His goal is to love and leave as many women as he can fit into one lifetime…that is until he meets his match. LaTasha is that girl: sexy, beautiful, wealthy, and sexually free. Her game…and her sex…messes up his head and he finds himself in over his head. His skills are no match for this love’em and leave’em chick. Will he be able to tame her or will he, the ultimate playa, get played?
This series gets better with each turning page. Coffee’s characters are multi-dimensional, deep and pull on a myriad of emotions from the reader. As with life, things are never just black and white and what we see is not always the whole story. Coffee allows us to see the layers, the back story and the heart of each one, which in turn makes the connection one feels with the characters real. Their issues are relatable and so are the errors they make in judgment as each navigates the hand that has been dealt. She writes in such a way that a reader is able to loathe the traits of the characters while being completely endeared to them at the same time. This is no easy feat. What this is, is the work of a very talented writer with a great storytelling ability. Looking forward to the reading the rest of the series and future works from the author. Side note: cute word play and shout out to LDP in the journal scene. 5 stars ___________ Reviewed by Tumika

OMFG!!!! I knew it... This book has all kinds of twist and turns. G'Corey is a dirty waste of air. I disliked everything about him. However the book will have you on the edge of your seat. Especially the ending. I need part 3 ASAP..
