The Finnegan brothers are bound to hurt any girl that gets between them. But that doesn't stop Lena. She loves pain with her pleasure. When things get too hot for her to handle, she does the only thing she can do to protect herself... she runs away.
Three years later, Lena is back in town for her father's wedding. She prays she can avoid her past, hoping nobody remembers her parents’ messy divorce or how she disappeared. However, as soon as she arrives, she finds she can't run from her past anymore.
There's no escaping the Finnegan brothers. Not this time.

Another chapter in the saga of Lena and her men. In so many ways I see a young women who is emotionally tossed to and fro with the issues she is facing in her family -- a dad who is making the break up of his marriage to Lena's mom permanent; a mom who may be bringing more chaos into their lives; and her own inner emotional confusions revolving around Blake, Slade, and Micah. As interesting as this series is, it confirms my continuing dislike of stories that are dished out like courses in a meal. I have real problems waiting weeks or months for the next installment. The tale loses its grip on my imagination over time. That being said, it is well written and readers can easily keep the characters straight. I do feel Lena's pain -- it is never easy living with the consequences of foolish decisions.
A young woman torn is what this is about. We rejoin Lena and she is struggling to deal with Blake and Slade along with juggling her new beau Micah and her father's wedding and her mother's own revelations.
Things are just all over the place and when things start to straighten out in Lena's head, she realizes she's never really gotten over Blake. But with a Harli in the picture what will happen?
Now it's just horrible, Slade is gone and then there is Micah, who would of been perfect for her but no one fucks you up better than first love, so I'm guessing that she picks Blake eventually. Such a disaster!

Can't believe the way this is turning out, either there's going to be some huge cliffhanger that will inevitably turn the story and add more juicy details to spice things up, or this may possibly flop.
I thought this was the conclusion! There has to be more. At least it wasn't was dramatic of an ending as book 2. I can't wait to see what happens next.
I wanted to smack Lena alongside her head and tell her to grow up. She has Mica, Blake has someone, Slade went away and the wedding is approaching quickly. What more can happen, right?
This was a cute little series. It was nice to see a young loves find their way back to each other. This was a great quick read. Not much story line to it but fun to read anyways.
