Strange Suitor

Rate this book
Being "gods-blessed" wasn't as wonderful as it sounded...

Conor never expected that he would be married at the Spring festival - even setting aside the small problem of being the only available gay man residing in his village. But when he is approached by a handsome stranger, tall and dark, he doesn't hesitate to yield to the passion between them.

But this stranger is not all he appears, and the betrayal of trust has implications lasting far beyond the planting season.

Kady Stewart is the author of the new, steamy gay romance series, Fall.

When I was just discovering the idea of romantic love, my mother was very keen that I had a crush or relationship with someone "suitable". They needed to be from the right background and with the right personality to please her.

Unfortunately for her, that memo never really made it into my rule-book. I fell in love with the unsuitable types, and that's the basis of what I write today. I embrace characters with age differences. Mismatched species. Power differentials. Characters who are related a little more closely than some people find comfortable. Heroes who are twisted and dark, but do care deeply for their object of desire in their own special way. If you read my books, you'll see that...

Love Has No Boundaries.

*pouts* leaving dog outside in rain? Yeah I know as city girl I have weird pow about animals, and that dog is capable of being ut, but if he left his pack for conor he should at least be inside.  if we remove that oppinion I liked book. I liked how it's all set up and how Archu couldn't be human again till Connor accepted him fully. It's lucky it's short actually otherwise it would be too angsty for me.

A twist on some interesting folklore. The rhythm and language was enjoyable and had a fairytale feel which was appropriate, although the dialect could seem a little off at times. A sweet story with a unique couple of characters. Well done.

I really enjoyed this take on a folklore legend about shape shifters. Wish it had been longer as I was really intrigued by the world building and legends, though at times, the writing was slightly awkward as I couldn't tell if this was supposed to be set in modern day or in the past.

Myth-based fiction

Well-written, compelling and highly romantic, this is some of the finest M/M fiction I've read recently. The mythic connection makes it even better. I can't recommend it enough.
