More Stories Less Stuff is a collection of inspirational stories written by a community of women for other women.
Storytelling that thoughtfully shares a glimpse into each writer’s “why” behind her simple and intentional lifestyle. The benefits shared through vulnerable words on each page bring the writers’ individual voices and experiences to life.
As you read through each story, our hope is that our words inspire you to take the time in your own life to slow down, to find calm and joy in simple everyday moments. While genuinely asking yourself what you need and taking the time to truly nurture your own personal wellbeing.
This book is not a “how,” although there are many tips sprinkled throughout. The focus is our “why” - together we are sharing the benefits of living a simple and intentional lifestyle, while making space for more stories and less stuff.
This anthology is a passion project by Ashley McLean, with stories submitted by home organizers, podcast hosts, YouTubers, minimalists and sustainable business founders.

Ashley McLean
1 bookAshley McLean lives in Squamish, British Columbia with her husband Antoine, where they both enjoy spending time working on projects around their home as well as traveling to new places together. Ashley has always been an entrepreneur at heart and founded a local business almost five years ago called Home Steps Organizing, she provides organization and relocation services throughout the Sea to Sky and Lower Mainland. The idea for this anthology is a passion project that has been one year in the making and Ashley is currently manifesting volume two! She has biked solo from Canada to Mexico, Victoria, BC to Thunder Bay, ON, and Alaska to Squamish.

I absolutely loved getting to hear these women's stories. I definitely need to think about why we buy so much. I have already started to sort through my closet and storage to sort through what can be donated. A great read on how clutter affects our day to day life and stress.
