ARC read:yes
4⭐️ 5🌶️
Synopsis in one sentence:
Shy firefighter Jude, secretly pining for his best friend Sam (an injured, grumpy hockey player), finds their intense, unspoken history finally ignited and cemented by the arrival of a nomadic ranch hand named Forest.

Fav character:
Jude Malone. His gentle nature, years of quiet pining for Sam, and the vulnerability he shows as he navigates his first true relationship dynamic—especially with two men—makes him the heart of the story.

Fav trope:
MMM Poly Romance (Why Choose). Specifically, the combination of Best Friends to Lovers (Jude and Sam) merged with the Hurt/Comfort and Found Family elements that Forest brings to the trio.

Fav part:
The emotional intensity of the pining phase between Jude and Sam, which is thick with history, combined with the instant, grounding emotional awareness that Forest possesses when dealing with both of their broken edges.

Didnt like:
The mandatory miscommunication/third-act breakup felt a bit drawn out, though the eventual groveling and resolution were satisfying.

Recommend it:
Yes, 100%. Highly recommended for anyone who loves emotional, steamy MMM romance with small-town vibes, high stakes, and the sweetest form of found family.

Unique:
The specific blend of a professional hockey player, a rugged ranch hand, and a gentle firefighter in a queer "why choose" setup, all while staying true to the cozy small-town setting of Sterling Ridge.

Cont. series?:
Yes. This is Book 2 in the Sterling Ridge series.

Unforgettable:
The feeling of home the three men find when they finally stop running from their feelings and commit to building their life together.

Kindle unlimited:
Yes.

”they were my husbands, and we were a family now.”

i honestly went into it expecting a bit more depth and nuance in the way the relationship between the three men would be explored, but it ended up being more of a toe-curling read than a sentimental one. it was entertaining and (kinda) fun enough to finish, but for a higher rating i definitely needed more.. more character work, more emotional layering, more about their bonds, especially Sam & Jude who have been best friends for ten years.

all in all, it was an entertaining read and a solid introduction to this author. now that i know what to expect from her writing, it definitely won’t be my last read!

many thanks to The Author Agency & the author for providing an eARC in exchange for an honest review!

Well if this isn’t exactly what I needed injected straight into my life then honestly I don’t know what is. A fire fighter, a hockey player and an ranch hand forming a perfect little chaos triangle, and somehow it all clicks together like the world’s hottest puzzle piece.

This book has growth, spice, pining for days, and yes I cried. Big, ugly, dramatic tears, but then I hit that point of pure, stupid happiness where you just sit there smiling at your Kindle.

And the broken boys energy is unmatched. Read it. Feel it. Breathe it. Let it ruin you in the absolute best way.

This book was so good. I loved Jude, Sam, and Forest together; i loved them individually i just loved it all around. Going into the book i was scared that with Jude and Sam being best friends to lovers, the third person within the relationship would end up sort of being pushed to the sidelines and not really feel like an equal part, but Forest absolutely blew that thought out of the water because all three of these men felt like equals within the relationship, which i loved. Overall this book was really fun. I've read a few books by this author, and i can confidently say that they know how to blend humor, spice, emotions, and well-rounded characters to craft a truly enjoyable book, and this book was another great example of that.

Friends to Lovers
All the Pining

Ohhh, I love a best friends to lovers with all the pining. Add in a third and shoot, this was fantastic.

Jude has loved his best friend Sam for years, all the years.

Recently they had a falling out, both stubborn, Jude more so, unwilling to talk to Sam. Sam, recently moved back to Sterling Ridge, to recover from a 2nd surgery from an injury from hockey.

Sam and Forrest have a small past, from one night together a few months ago.

These 3 men have an instant connection, they truly seem to fit, each bringing something to the table that make them perfect together.

Now do these men see this, not really, they needed to communicate desperately. They do eventually and get their hea.

These 3 were super hot together, Forrest the daddy, Sam the Switch and Jude the brat lol
So good together.

There is a 3rd act break up. But they absolutely make it work in the end. The epilogues were fantastic and so beautiful.

“That’s all I had ever wanted, to love and be loved in return.”

This is a wonderful series. I really love them all, the found family is wonderful too.

“I want a new beginning, a life where I’m not running, and I get to live with both of you by my side.”

Great book

So thankful for the arc

I was so excited for this book, because I really liked the tropes and I‘ve read some really enthusiastic reviews. But honestly, it was so disappointing. The writing is really bad and the characters are described in such a way, that you feel like you’re reading about children. I considered DNF-ing so many times, but powered through, because I thought it might get better. I was also waiting for some sort of plot twist - or, honestly, just SOMETHING - to happen. It was very predictable and not exciting or captivating at all. It’s a shame, really, because the idea was good and had so much potential. The execution sucks though.

🎶 “Settle soft and as pure as snow. I fell in love with the fire long ago” 🎶

Jude (H) has been secretly in love with his best friend, pro hockey star Sam Webber (H), since college, but his growing attraction to the new ranch hand, Forest (H), complicates everything. With small town charm, heartfelt emotions, and plenty of slow burn tension, this story brings together a shy firefighter, a grumpy hockey player, and a confident ranch hand with undeniable energy.

—*•.¸♡ ★·.·☾ ゚。´THOUGHTS ゚☁︎。`·.·★ ♡¸.•*⋆—

Jude and Sam have been fighting their feelings for each other for ten years, and the fact that they didn’t get together because of a miscommunication was so frustrating. Sam overheard Jude say that he would never date “dumb jocks,” but it was never really about him. That one misunderstanding kept them from initiating a relationship and moving forward. Best friends to lovers never fails, and these two have been solid friends since college, always a presence in each other’s lives. The distance between them at the beginning of the book, when they were angry at each other, was disheartening, but Foster reconnected them and encouraged them to communicate and finally let go of the past.
I loved Jude, Foster, and Sam’s dynamic. I did connect more with Jude and Sam, though, because of their shared history. Best friends to lovers just gets me every time. When you’ve known someone your whole life, been pining for them for years, and finally get to be with them—it’s perfect. With Foster, it was more about getting to know a new character and figuring out how he fit into their dynamic. They didn’t love him yet, but they were learning to. That’s why when Foster said their relationship was just a “pit stop,” it felt like a slap in the face. Still, it was entertaining. I just didn’t LOVE it.

—*•.¸♡ ★·.·☾ ゚。´OVERALL゚☁︎。`·.·★ ♡¸.•*⋆—

This was my first MMM romance, and it was good. I definitely preferred the first book in the series, but I still love Jude and Sam. I just need to warm up to Foster a little more. His story felt underwhelming because we didn’t learn much about his family, background, or insecurities until the end, so I didn’t feel as tethered to him as I did to Jude and Sam.

There’s just something irresistible about broken boys who are learning to love again, especially when their hearts are tangled together in unexpected ways.

The main characters and their personal hardships resonate with readers: Jude's seemingly unrequited feelings for Sam, Sam's struggle with an injury and its impact on his profession, and Forest's jadedness regarding love and connections. The emotional core of the story is well-crafted, making the characters feel authentic and relatable despite their challenging circumstances. The story explores themes of hope, acceptance, and the power of human connection.

What sets this story apart is its perfect balance: there’s drama, but it never weighs the narrative down; coziness and tenderness saturate every page, making Sterling Ridge feel like a place you never want to leave. The characters are easy to root for with their substantial growth, and their chemistry is undeniable; surprisingly sizzling and always genuine.

Beyond just romance, the book shines in its portrayal of found family and the quiet, meaningful moments that define community. The struggles with communication feel true to life, making their eventual breakthrough both earned and deeply satisfying. This journey isn’t just about falling in love; it’s about healing, trust, and learning to be vulnerable despite past hurts.

All in all, this is a beautiful story about choosing love, even when it’s the hardest thing to do.

I was so excited to be back in Stirling Ridge with the gang!!

There is so much to love about these three! From the shy firefighter, Jude, who has been secretly in love with his best friend, to the best friend in question, Sam, whose hockey career is coming to end, after an injury, to the brooding ranch hand, Forrest. These broken boys had so much to give, had the biggest hearts and seeing them come together and fall in love, ugh, it made my heart so happy!

Forrest and Sam meet at the start of the book and have a one-night stand; thinking that they would never see each other again because Sam is only visit and Forrest never stays in one place for too long. However, when he starts working for Jude's brother, where he meets Jude; the pair have an undeniable connection and chemistry, which leaves Jude conflicted about how he feels for Sam. Sam, who returns back to Stirling Ridge to recover from his abrupt end to his hockey career, is also determined to win back his best friend, Jude after a falling out.

I loved the sense of the forced proximity this gave these three men, and how they came together. Despite Forrest's hesitancy and their miscommunication, I loved how all three of them played an equal part, neither felt like an extra part or like they didn't belong because they all came together seamlessly, even when Forrest got scared because of his past relationship.

I loved all three of them individually, and ugh, was not expect Forrest's daddy energy; he almost rivalled Vincent for me!

I got to ARC read the 1st book in this series too and when I saw this one I pounced on it lol I needed this book so bad. I'm so happy we got a bunch of Sol her mom and her men in this book too because I absolutely adored them.
I absolutely love that Forest and Sam and a one night stand before they knew anything about their lives and how important Jude was or was going to be to one another. They way they all came together was so sweet especially after all the longing Sam and Jude did for one another until Forest came along and helped force the issue and well..... they all come together so beautifully 😉 pun intended haha
I hate 3rd act break ups but I do love me a good come back together story 😭 lol

Something about broken boys that gets to me. Jude is in love with his best friend Sam but also is starting to like the new ranch hand Forest. Forest and Sam both like Jude and each other. So they start a situationship that quickly turns to more. Although Forest is scared, he's been hurt in the past and doesn't stay in one place too long and wants nothing serious. Can Jude and Sam prove to him that he's worth a loving relationship? Can all three make this relationship last?

It’s really no secret that I love MMM stories, so of course I ran the second I saw this book — and it did not disappoint. The story has the perfect balance between drama and coziness, meaning it never leans too heavy on either side. The characters are incredibly lovable, and every single one of them goes through such solid character growth. And honestly? I did not expect it to be that hot.

I love this series and was so excited when I found out all the amazing tropes for it. These characters fit perfectly together. This story was heartwarming, spicy, and just a perfect small-town romance overall. Mandy Muse does why-choose romances so well, and I can't wait to read what's next.

When I saw this book was a hockey player, cowboy, and firefighter, I knew I had to read it! This is my greatest hits of MMCs and I loved that it was a why choose situation between the three! It was my first MMM, but I knew I was in good hands with Mandy.

There was so much emotion packed into this book! The characters individual stories along with their relationship grew in a way that felt right and once I started, I didn't want it to end!

Forest had the quiet commanding energy, Jude was fun loving, and Sam was the grump to round the group out! I loved how each character balanced other and each gave the other something they needed.

When firefighter Jude's best friend, Sam, comes home to rehab from his perhaps career-ending injury/surgery, it just might be their time. There are a lot of unacknowledged/unknown feelings between the two that need some resolution. To aid in all this comes new guy in town, Forest, a temporary ranch hand at Jude's family ranch. Three more different, but somehow fitting, men should probably not work as a united trio, but somehow, they do, in all kinds of beautiful, delicious ways.

Threesomes can be tricky to get right. So can friends to lovers. But Mandy managed both these tropes and more, with just the right amount of heart and emotion and heat. I wouldn't have thought, on the surface that these different men would have made a good fit, but they did - Forest the dominant one with a closed off heart, Jude the sweet, inexperienced one who put himself last, and Sam the brooding one facing a crossroads. Jude and Sam could have seemingly been a great couple, but actually needed Forest - he was the missing piece they didn't even know they needed until he was gone. This is the first I've read of this author's writing, but after having fallen so hard for this awesome threesome, I'm going to be on the lookout for all her future writing.

Somewhere Together by Mandy Muse is a tender, emotional, and beautifully character-driven romance that captures the magic of small towns, second chances, and the unexpected ways love can reshape a life. It’s heartfelt, messy, healing, and deeply human everything I love about the Sterling Ridge universe.

Jude Malone’s voice is soft, aching, and unforgettable. A shy firefighter with a lifetime of quiet longing, he has loved his best friend Sam Webber for years but has never once believed he deserved him. Jude’s gentle nature, his selflessness, and the way he carries his hurt in silence make him instantly endearing and heartbreaking. Sam, the grumpy hockey star recovering, from yet another devastating injury, returns to Sterling Ridge not just to heal his body, but to figure out who he is when the ice is no longer an option. His love for Jude is raw, unspoken, and simmering just beneath every interaction.

And then there’s Forest the ranch hand with steady hands, quiet strength, and an emotional awareness that feels like a lifeline. He has a complicated past with Sam and an instant connection with Jude, and somehow, he sees both men with a clarity they’ve never granted themselves. Forest becomes the missing piece, the grounding force, the one who brings warmth, honesty, and possibility into their lives.

Together, these three form a connection that is electric, tender, and irresistibly real. Their chemistry is explosive, but their emotional bond is what makes this story shine. Each man brings something the others need: Jude’s heart, Sam’s vulnerability, Forest’s strength. What begins as cautious desire blossoms into something full and expansive love in its most honest, imperfect form.

The small-town charm of Sterling Ridge adds depth and richness, from the found family dynamics to the quiet moments that make this world feel lived-in and welcoming. While communication is a struggle, the breakthrough is worth every page. Their journey is about trust, honesty, healing past wounds, and choosing each other fully.

The third-act heartbreak hurts, but the reunion is beautifully crafted, hitting all the emotional notes without ever feeling rushed. The epilogues are warm, hopeful, and deeply satisfying, offering the exact kind of closure these men deserve.

Somewhere Together is more than a romance it’s a story about three men finding the courage to speak their truths, to ask for what they need, and to build a life where love isn’t a risk but a refuge. Emotional, intimate, and beautifully written, this book reminds us that sometimes love doesn’t come in the shape you expected sometimes it’s bigger, braver, and exactly what you didn’t know you needed.

THIS! This is EXACTLY what I’ve been looking for 😭

I’m completely obsessed with this story. I’ve been searching for a contemporary MMM book for months, and this one checked every box. It has spice, humor, and all the coziness I could ever wish for🥹🩵

I signed up for an ARC pretty late and was unsure about the timing, so I planned an entire schedule to finish it on time, but all of that went out the window the moment I started reading. I am completely in love with this book and these guys. It literally flew by! I could not, for the life of me, put it down.

It was so easy to read, with a perfect balance of everything that (for me) makes a perfect book. Especially with MMM stories, I’ve noticed they often place too much emphasis on the sexual aspect, but this one did an incredible job portraying their relationship as just as meaningful and well-rounded as any other couple. It was never just about the “sex.” Their emotional connection was highlighted beautifully. There was plenty of spice, hot sex, kinky scenes, but also so many heartfelt, cozy, genuinely beautiful moments where you could see how deeply they loved and cared for each other... As well as how pivotal each of them was in the relationship.

💌 About the main characters:

♥ Jude is an absolute sweetheart who wins your heart the moment he appears. He’s shy and comes off as a bit innocent at first, since he blushes easily and tends to look away. But the more comfortable he gets, the more you start wondering if he’s really that innocent lol because his thoughts and kinks definitely aren’t. He just doesn’t voice them, which can be very misleading 😂

♥ Sam was everything. He’s funny, outgoing, and friendly, definitely passionate about the things he loves, whether that’s work or the people close to him. One of my favorite things about him was how naturally affectionate he was. He’s a hugger (which is adorable) and has no problem speaking his mind, whether it’s calling someone out or telling someone he loves or misses them. He was a perfect middle ground for all three personalities, since he was already close to Jude and had zero shyness in embracing Forest.

♥ Ohhh Forest… the sexy new man in town who knows he’s hot and has no problem owning it. He starts off as a loner (closed off and determined not to get attached to anybody) but Jude and Sam definitely rocked his world. I loved watching him slowly come out of his emotional shell and start embracing both Sam and Jude. He played such an important role in bringing everyone together and pushing Sam and Jude to finally go after what they wanted 😉

I just love these guys so much, and I can’t say it enough. I know each book focuses on different people, but honestly… I wish we could get more of them 🤣 They’re just so perfect, and I’m not ready to say goodbye😭

A 4,5 ⭐️

With this book, I had two firsts (maybe even more, but we’ll get to that!): it was the first time I read a book by this author, and also the first time I read an why-choose MMM story. But it definitely won’t be the last.

I loved everything about this book, and I’m not saying this just because I was an ARC reader, but being completely honest here.

I began this book driven by sheer curiosity, what would a polyamorous relationship between three men truly look like? What I found was a story that was beautiful, achingly sensual, and brimming with emotion.
There is something endlessly compelling about broken men striving to piece themselves back together, to rediscover love despite every obstacle in their path.

These three captured my heart completely, and I cannot choose between them, and that, in itself, makes this book extraordinary. Usually, there is one character who resonates most deeply with me, who lingers long after the last page. But here? Jude, the gentle and unassuming firefighter, has carried a quiet, unwavering love for his best friend since adolescence. Sam, that best friend, gruff, wounded, and fiercely loyal, once lived for hockey, until a devastating injury shattered his dream and left him grappling with loss and identity. Both men walked separate roads, yet each carried the same hollow ache, the sense that something vital was missing from their lives.

And this is where Forest enters, the rugged, nomadic cowboy handyman who takes a job at Jude’s brother’s ranch and is, quite frankly, a dream to behold. Yet beneath that sun-worn exterior lies a man scarred by past trauma, carrying a fractured heart and a fierce determination to keep moving, to avoid roots, bonds, and the feelings he fears most.

What makes this story truly remarkable is the delicate balance of its elements: drama intertwined with humor, heat laced with tenderness, and the quiet affection between two lifelong friends—completed by Forest, the missing piece that allows them all to feel whole.

And then there’s the chemistry, the sensuality, the simmering tension. Everything in perfect measure, and oh, so scorching! How does one recover from that unforgettable night of b**w jobs shots? Or from the scene where a firefighter washes cars in poses that could melt steel? I’m not sure I’ll ever recover. The spice is masterfully written, intense yet elegant, brimming with desire without losing its emotional depth.

At its heart, this book carries a message: love is always the right choice, and home is not a place but the space where your heart resides, even if that heart is shared among more than one soul. That truth makes this story unforgettable!

And if you’re still not convinced, let me leave you with this: a small town, a firefighter who has loved his best friend since high school, a former professional hockey player nursing a shattered dream, and a cowboy handyman who could set the world on fire. Three men, impossibly sexy, all searching for the same thing: happiness.

Tank you for this ARC and see you in Sterling Ridge, with Nova and Sol, and her men.

Somewhere Together by Mandy Muse ended me in the best, most feral, most emotionally compromised way possible. And yes — OF COURSE I accidentally started this series with book two like a gremlin cursed by the ARC gods… so naturally I inhaled book one first, became fully unwell over Sterling Ridge, and then absolutely devoured this one. And now? I’m feral. I’m foaming at the mouth. I need book three yesterday. 😭🔥💛

This story is tender, messy, healing, sensual, and so beautifully human — everything I love about the Sterling Ridge universe times a thousand.

Jude Malone owns my entire heart. A shy, soft-hearted firefighter who has been in love with his best friend since they were literal teenagers?? The way he carries his longing quietly… the way he gives and gives… the way he doesn’t think he deserves the love he wants… I was GUTTED. 💔🔥

Sam Webber, former hockey star with a career-ending injury, comes home with grief in his bones and love he refuses to name. He’s grumpy, loyal, wounded, and so deeply in love with Jude it spills out of him in every scene. The tension between them? I FELT IT IN MY TEETH. 🥹🏒

And then FOREST walks in — the cowboy handyman with rough hands, a complicated past, a night with Sam he thought he’d never revisit, and an instant, soul-deep pull toward Jude. Forest sees these men with a clarity they’ve never afforded themselves. He’s the grounding force, the spark, the emotional lifeline. A tragic, wandering heart with daddy energy strong enough to knock the wind out of you. 🤠🔥

Together? These three are electric. They are tender. They are real.
Their chemistry is scorching, but their emotional balance is what makes them unforgettable. Each of them brings something the others were missing:

💛 Jude’s heart
🔥 Sam’s vulnerability
🌲 Forest’s strength

And the SPICE??? Oh, Mandy Muse said “beautiful emotional arc” AND “I’m going to melt your soul.” The scenes were intense, sensual, and written with so much care that the spice adds weight, not just heat. A perfect blend. 🌶️🌶️🌶️

Small-town atmosphere? Immaculate.
Miscommunication? Painful but purposeful.
Found family? Top tier.
Third-act heartbreak? I was feral.
The reunion + epilogues? CHEF’S KISS. 👨‍🍳💋

This book is a love letter to healing, to honesty, to letting yourself choose joy even when it scares you. It’s about three men who deserve love learning they don’t have to settle for fragments — they get the whole thing, together, completely.

Jude and Sam has been best friends since college and secretly love each other but they never confessed. Now, miles apart and with friendship in tatters, it's hard to reconnect. Enter Forest, the ranch hand who worked closely with Jude and had a one-night stand with Sam, seemed to be the glue that holds their relationship together.

My first MMM romance and I enjoyed this book.

I read this book in almost one-sitting but I had to stop to sleep lol.

Not my first poly relationship book but my first queer one and boy, I had lot of thoughts.

This is also the second book in the series and I did not read the first one so I was a little bit confused with a lot of names thrown at me at the first few chapters but once I got to know everyone, it was easier.

Characters-wise, I adore every single one of our character. Jude's always prioritzed his loved one and put himself last. He's also a firefighter and a helping hand in her brother's ranch, and been in love with his best friend. Sam, was on a brink of a mid-life crisis career-wise. He got injured and undergone another set of surgery and coming to terms that he cannot play professional hockey, and was initially depressed with his life but his best friend is not talking to him. Forest was the mature guy who always got your back. He brought Sam back to life and was initially flirting with Jude. He got a past that he doesn't want to talk about and a drifter.

Plot-wise, I was engaged with all of it. The best friend dynamic, the will-they-won't-they, the push-and-pull was really entertaining to read. It's very fast-paced with all things happening. However, I did not like that they really didn't talk about what's happening with them, there's no label to things and no proper communication about their relationship. So it was physical then emotional and communication, which I figured that I did not like plots like that.

I really did like the MMM dynamic this book got. I also love the characters, and the side characters. It's a found family within a great community.

This was such a great read! It had big emotions, gorgeous characters, delicious spice, and so much heart. And an epilogue that just made me feel all gooey and happy. Adore!

Jude is a firefighter who has been in love with his best friend for years.

Sam is a professional hockey player trying to recover from a serious injury.

Forest is a ranch hand who doesn't stay anywhere long.

They have been friends since college but recently fought and aren't talking. He met him at his family's ranch. He met him at a bar. They all meet at the bar. It goes badly. Quite badly. Then things get interesting. And physical.

Jude wants a happily ever after and a family of his own. And he wants it with Sam. But he is scared to tell Sam how he feels. Jude has a lot of learning to do when it comes to communication and speaking up for himself. I really enjoyed watching him learn to let his voice be heard and let himself explore love.

Sam is afraid of losing Jude and is struggling with the physical & mental recovery of a second surgery. He is facing the potential end of his career and he doesn't know what that means or who he is without hockey. His journey of learning to let people help him and really exploring & going after what he wants to build the life of his dreams is beautiful.

Forest is a strong & dominating man who is carrying around hurt & pain that keeps him from relationships and makes him scared to stay. He has some very hard lessons to learn about not letting fear ruin his future and allowing himself to love AND be loved.

I loved these three men so much. They are stunning and sweet and I love how they love each other. And how they love their people. Family goals.

This was my first Mandy Muse book and I am a fan. I liked how she wrote her characters and the ways they expressed themselves. Excited to read more of her work.

I received this as an ARC and am beyond grateful! This had zero impact on my review.

Excuse me Ma'am this why choose/MMM is perfection. I have read a few MM but this takes it up a notch with all the feelings, angst and delicious men that I already love with your writing, Mandy. And, I always fold for a 'Daddy'.

Jude we met again in the first book in this series, Somewhere We Belong. He is that steadfast, defends his brother Theo with a fierceness that is in contrast to the emotional nice guy he is. And, he loves his best friend Sam. Sam is trying to recover from a near career ending hockey injury, and is none the wiser as to why his BFF has stopped talking to him.

Forest is a drifter, working never in one place too long, but there is something about Sterling Ridge and the ranch where he finds work that has him breaking down some carefully created walls. Doesn't hurt that Jude (who is a firefighter) has caught is eye, or the object of a one night stand a few months back, Sam, is here also, but is not the man he hooked up with at the time. All three men are like flames curling together as one, each bringing together what they need, and not just what they want. There is the friendship that already exists between Sam and Jude, with Forest completing that circle, and all giving each other support, love and understanding.

This was perfect, and I enjoyed seeing those characters I had met in previous books from Mandy (IYKYK) come thru, I think I spent a big part of this book, smiling as I remembered their stories and how their relationships had come about. I am so excited for Jude's sister Iris' story next, and highly recommend this book (which can be read as a standalone). If this is your first time dipping your toes in a why choose and a MMM, this is perfect. There is nothing uncomfortable or 'ick' about this, it is a beautiful story of love and finding family, finding home.

I am UNHINGED over this book. Somewhere Together by Mandy Muse absolutely wrapped me in a warm small-town hug and then set me on FIRE with all the yearning, tension, and chaotic, heartfelt perfection of Jude, Sam, and Forest. I swear this book rewired my brain. 🔥💛

Jude Malone… my shy, quiet, soft-hearted firefighter who has been in love with his best friend for YEARS. Just silently pining. Silently hurting. Silently hoping. And Sam??? The grumpy, gorgeous, world-famous hockey star who is JUST as in love but too terrified of losing Jude to say a word?? The tension between them was unreal. Like, I felt it in my chest.

And THEN.
FOREST WALKS IN.
This ranch hand with BDE, a past with Sam, a heart of absolute gold, and the emotional awareness to SEE Jude in a way no one ever has?? I ascended. I literally levitated.

The way Forest falls for both Jude and Sam?
The way Sam realizes he can’t ignore his feelings anymore?
The way Jude is terrified but so desperately wants to be chosen??
I was SCREAMING. They are a TROUBLE TRIO in the best, softest, hottest way.

Once these three actually sit down and TALK—finally letting all the fears and insecurities spill out—it’s over. They fit. They make sense. They heal each other’s cracks in ways no single pairing ever could. The love is so balanced, so tender, so earned.

Small-town vibes? Immaculate.
Emotional angst? Delicious.
Sexual chemistry? THROUGH. THE. ROOF.
Found family? Absolutely elite.
Three men discovering they are each other’s home? I’m sobbing.

Jude, Sam, and Forest together are EVERYTHING—messy, sweet, protective, vulnerable, and so, so in love. I’m obsessed. Completely ruined. I want to move to Sterling Ridge immediately.

Five stars, forever. 💛🔥🌲

ARC Review

Mandy Muse has once again captivated me with Somewhere Together, the second book in The Sterling Ridge Series. This story beautifully intertwines love, friendship, and self-discovery in a small-town setting that feels as warm as a cozy blanket on a chilly evening.

Firefighter Jude Malone is the embodiment of quiet strength and vulnerability. His longstanding feelings for his best friend, hockey star Sam Webber, add layers of emotional depth to the narrative. Muse skillfully captures Jude's internal struggle, making it easy to empathize with his character as he navigates the complexities of love.

Then there's the new ranch hand, Forest—a perfect contrast to Jude with his BDE energy that lights up the pages. The dynamic between these three characters is electric, filled with tension, humor, and genuine affection. Muse excels at crafting relationships that feel real and relatable, making the reader root for each character's happiness.

At one point, the story had me very emotional, but I pushed through, and I'm so glad I did. The journey was heart-wrenching yet beautifully crafted, reminding me of the resilience of the human spirit.

Muse’s descriptive writing invites readers into the picturesque small-town life, with rich details that evoke a sense of place. The separate journeys of Jude, Sam, and Forest intertwine seamlessly, leading to an emotionally satisfying conclusion that left me smiling and hopeful.

Somewhere Together is not just a love story; it’s a celebration of identity, love in all its forms, and the importance of being true to oneself. This book is a must-read for anyone who craves heartfelt romance filled with authentic characters. I can't wait to see where Muse takes us next in this beautiful series!

My first MMM romance.. and wow, it had me intrigued from page one. This second book in the series brings small town charm, slow building tension, and so much yearning my emotions were all over the place. And something I loved- the touches of Spanglish throughout the story.

We follow Sam, a hockey player sidelined by an injury; Jude, the firefighter who puts everyone else first; and Forest, a rootless cowboy just passing through looking for work. Their dynamic? Tender, messy, and addictive. The pull between them is nerve wrecking in the best way- heavy glances, missed chances, and a desire that refused to fade. And yes...the spice is spicing! tasteful, emotional and exactly when it needs to be.
If you love small-town friends to lovers, emotional depth, and those little Spanglish moments that make you smile then this one hits perfectly.

MY OPINION: This is the first time I’ve read anything by this author. Typically, I read only MM or MM+, so this fit within my normal reading preferences. It’s absolutely not necessary to read the first book to enjoy the second one, but you do see plenty of the family from the first book in this one.

I am so glad I picked this up because I loved it. Typically, I read in the mornings over coffee, then before bed, but this one had me, and I wanted to read it through. These men, I liked them all. Each of them was damaged, accepting their fate when it came to love.

Two best friends who neglect to mention their feelings for each other for years. A hot ranch hand who is up for a good time. The three of them find comfort with each other. Throughout, you don’t see a dynamic with only two of them at a time. It’s always the three of them together, sharing a connection.

All of them find that old habits are hard to break, so feelings they don’t want to embrace are the root of not moving forward. As each of them accepts their lives and heals their hearts, you root for them to find their way to a forever. I am not too proud to admit there were tears by me, lots of feels, lots of emotion. It was a wonderful story of love that works for the three of them.

Early on, there is spice, and there is plenty of it throughout. There is clearly passion and love in the scenes, giving you a peek behind the curtain. This is a MMM romance, which means you need to be on board with that type of relationship, but I highly recommend the book. It was a winner for me, and I think it should be near the top of your TBR list.

Somewhere Together was a great surprise to me, and I loved the interactions between Jude and Sam and Forest the most. I loved both of them separately, but something even better was the cohesion between them. I went in a little apprehensive of the best friends to lovers department of the equation pushing the third partner out of the limelight, but Forest kept himself well in the limelight. Their connection was equal, sincere and heartfelt and I liked that the story made all the three men feel equally significant.

Their chemistry is so high that it is beyond words, yet the fact that their relationship becomes so emotional and tender is something that caught my eye. The uncertainty of his career as a hockey player, Jude prioritizing other people over himself and Forest wandering in circles made all of them seem so true. It was such a gratification to see them settle and be at home with one another. They were fun together in their chaotic energy, and the manner in which they relaxed around each other served to put depth into the book.

Their journey was given a warm background by the small town setting and the combination of family and found family. I was frustrated by the miscommunication of the third act, but the groveling made it go down a little better, although I wish it had been a little longer.

All in all, it was a touching, sensual and charismatic book. Mandy Muse is very skillful at integrating the humorous, heartbreak, and character development, and this tale is one more successful story in that direction. It is an excellent poly romance with a touch of reality, and I highly suggest it as worth reading.

FMC: N/A
MMC(s): Jude, Sam, Forest
Tropes: m/m/m, small town, friends-to-lovers, hockey player, firefighter/cowboy romance, virgin mc
Spice Rating: Four
Series: Yes | Book Two of Sterling Ridge - Interconnected Series
POV: Multiple
Cliffhanger: No

I haven’t found many m/m/m books to enjoy, not that I’ve searched extensively, but sometimes a reader wants more than m/m, m/f/m, and reverse harem.

I will admit I struggled a little while reading and with deciding on my review. Probably due to my lack of research prior to reading. I didn’t realize this was book two in an interconnected series. However, I found myself struggling to keep some of the characters organized in my head while reading, especially with multiple happy poly relationships among secondary characters.

I did enjoyed this one. Each main character brings something a bit different to the relationship. Jude is the shy, quiet, virgin of the group. He’s been in love with his best friend for years but is too afraid to say anything. Sam, his best friend, is the hockey player and the outgoing one. He’s portrayed as a bit of a playboy. Forest is the drifter. He keeps mostly to himself knowing he doesn’t stay in one area for long. He’s also the one in charge... in the best kind of way.

Overall, a nice read for those looking for an openminded small town where these men find themselves all up in their feelings for each other.

Thank you to the author, Mandy Muse, and the team at The Author Agency for the opportunity to read an ARC.

Best friends pining for each other until Forest arrives

This is a super sweet story. 4.5 stars.

Best friends who have been pining for each other since college but were afraid to take that next step because they don't know if the other feels the same. When a nomadic rancher comes to town he shakes things up in a way that brings them all together in a beautiful way. You see these men find balance as a trio.

We've got Sam the grumpy injured hockey player who has been pretending he's healing fine but knows he's not and when he needs another surgery He comes back to town but doesn't bother to tell anyone since he isn't talking to his best friend.

Jude is our shy firefighter who has been pining for his bestie for so long that it seems everybody knows except Sam. I really loved Jude he's just so sweet and soft.

Lastly we have Forest who is a nomadic rancher who was on his way to Montana when he got sidetracked by a pretty face in Colorado. He never expected that he would end up seeing this guy again and especially not falling for him and another man. You see Forest has been running from anything that holds him down because of something from his past.

This story was both super spicy and super super sweet. These guys fit together as if they were made to even while they are fighting what they feel. They definitely have their struggles and communication about how they actually feel and what they want is at the top of that.

I absolutely adore these guys but if you don't read that bonus epilogue you are missing out so much because it was perfection.
