Snippets of Light illumines our inner self, sparking a positive perspective to the simple stories of life. The different characters of each story cohesively weave a larger picture of awareness, consciousness and manifestation. You only have to be looking for it within you. And when you do, these snippets will not only guide like a lamp but also accompany you on your journey with engaging stories. Simple stories of everyday lives with profound meaning, nestled inside each. As I read story after story, I was reminded of the 'Malgudi Days' for its authentic voice and of Alchemist for its philosophies. Can they both co-exist in a short stories collection? Sure, they do in real lives. Why wouldn't they work in a book that is far more real than the lives that some of us live? Lakshmi's honest writing touches something soul deep with scintillating resonance. I loved each of her characters, their crafts and their passion towards it. I loved Snippets of Light!
