Logan Thomas Snyder has a potential break-out hit in his Violet series, but it wasn't until I read Being Violet that I realized the possibilities. In Becoming Violet, we meet Tom and Violet and the secrets she hides in a fairly well self-contained story. In the sequel, we see Violet's past come back to haunt her and Tom in a life or death scenario. I loved this story and couldn't wait to read the next.
