If you have never read Dogs of Fire, Road to the Edge will have you going to the beginning and reading them all. If you are like me and already a fan; you will be going back and reading the series all over again. Visiting with the club, reading the interactions had me falling in love and remembering what a great escape the Dogs of Fires are.
I have watched Archer grow up. I have watched his siblings fall in love. I thought he would never settle down. I was so wrong!!! He jsut needed to find the right gal. There is nothing like male stupidty to show a man their perfect person.
Echo puts Archer in his place after witnessing his very poor judgement. She doesn't hold back. If you are looking for a strong female character, look no further than Echo Weston. Her strength oozes off the pages. Her compassion for those she cares for as a hospice nurse crushed my heart and healed it in equal measure.
Famly drama had me thrilled for each chapter. Expect the unexpected. Echo's character shows that being on the autism spectrum is another way of looking at the world creating strength and respect. Archer might be a biker, but his is so much more. His heart overflows with love and exceptance. They are who they are because of how they were raised and by who they were raised. I couldn't wait for their happily ever after, but the journey was one of the best I have read in quite some time.
Archer and Echo’s romance continues the saga with a heartfelt story about finding love in the most unusual places Archer is still sowing chaos when he meets a feisty woman who will challenge him in myriad ways. It features Booker and Dani’s son and a neurodivergent hospice nurse who looks at the world from a. Wry different perspective. As always I enjoy the updates on beloved characters like Hatch and Maisie, and Archer’s mother Dani, who is a real hoot, shines in this one. On a serious note, I was deeply moved by the hospice storyline which is bear and dear to my heart. I will always be eternally grateful for the support and guidance I received when my own father was in his final months. Unfortunately, for me, the romance between Archer and Echo suffered in the wake of the serious subject matter.
I really enjoyed Archer & Echo! There's so much history in this series that it can feel overwhelming sometimes, but this story did a great job of balancing. 💜
Echo & Archer have matching hearts. They love hard & are passionate about ppl in general. And Echo might not realize it, but she's as much of a BA as Archer - or Dani! 😉 From the minute she hands Archer his butt at the beginning of the story, he's intrigued. I love how he reacts, too!
I also love getting to see how the club is growing & recovering from what happened with the Spiders. There's a particular bonding moment with Archer & another brother that made my heart happy!
We get humor, steam, family, new friendships, tears... lots of emotions for me in this one! Thumbs up!
Echo chases Archer and another biker into their club house parking lot and proceeds to berate them for how they were driving their bikes on the highway. Hatch tells her if she ever needs work on her car to bring it in and they will fix it. She brings it, but they don’t have a loaner for her to drive so Hatch has Archer drive her around. Somewhere along the way they start to fall, but Echo has to much in her past that holds her back and she doesn’t like violence. Can they find a way to make things work? Will Archer win her over. Come on in and find out.
I absolutely love this series, and from the very first, page Echo just stole my heart. She has so much spunk and I wanna be her when I grow up. Her very first encounter with Archer has her laying into him without a care in the world and that has Archer intrigued. This book had all the feels and serious laugh out loud moments. You get to hang out with all the dogs and I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough. Definitely a five star read for me!
Well, it is absolutely NO surprise to me that Arch and Echo's story is an absolute banger! I love this story so so much! Without giving too much away, Dani is one bad ass Momma! And bonus! We get Maisie and HATCH!!! Any time we get more Hatch is amazing! The conflict's that these two go through is by no means cookie cutter. And the Seth McFarland scene had me laughing out loud! If Piper writes it, I'm gonna read it!
Archer and his buddy were driving reckless on the highway. Echo fOllowed them home to there compond. Echo let them have it with there reckless driving. This was such a good book.
I absolutely love this book! It just sucks you in from the beginning and keeps your interest to the very end. This book made you laugh out loud and cry some. Archer was the perfect person for Echo! A highly recommend this book! And I can’t wait for further books.
I absolutely love reading this series, and this one didn't disappoint! The ladies are all warriors from Maisie and "Don Mom" all the way to Echo! The men don't take crap from anyone except their mamas or Hatch. It is just a fun MC read!
PSA: make sure you have tissues handy. The storytelling is powerful. The MMC and FMC POVs are so enlightening. Family is definitely on display in this book.
series hits the makers of funny, good dialogue, excellent ‘sexy’ talk and physical connection. I always enjoy when series characters actually intertwine together in the series. I would recommend reading each book in order to get the best of the story telling but it’s definitely not necessary…just more enjoyable in my experience.
