This has quickly become one of my favourite books. This book deserves all the fanfare.
I really loved this book, it was emotionally raw and you can tell the words came from and were written from the heart. It’s a written collection of letters that have never been and never will be sent, it’s a book for anyone who needs to hear the words contained and to be reminded your voice matters. This book is a shout out into the void, in the hope that someone is listening. My favourite letter is the letter to Margaret from Henry, if you take a chance and read this book you will understand why this letter is my favourite as it’s so heartbreakingly beautiful.
There are quite a few letters I’ve written but never sent so I can appreciate the sentiments written and contained within this book. To my beloved grans who died when I was a teenager and I never got to tell you how much you really meant to me, to my first best friend Laura who was suddenly not at school one day and I never knew what happened to you, to my mum and most recently a friend who encouraged me with my venture into book reviewing whom I treated badly and ghosted. A friend who offered nothing but encouragement and unconditional support while I was experiencing one of the worst episodes of Bipolar Disorder I have ever experienced. I longed for the chance to say I was sorry. Inspired by this book I wrote my own letter, which I never intended to send but finally got a chance to send it when they got back in touch. We hold all these words inside us and Mo has put his to paper and the result is a beautifully moving and poignant book which I cannot recommend highly enough. If I could give this book more than 5 stars I would.
This isn’t just a book to me. This is the first time I get to hold my words — not just type them, not just dream about them — but actually hold them, wrapped in paper and ink.
Letters I Never Sent – Keepsake Edition is my first-ever printed book. And that means something I can’t fully put into words (which is funny, coming from someone who just wrote a book of letters).
I wrote these letters over many quiet nights and early mornings. Some came from memory, some from imagination, and some from emotions I never knew how to say out loud. But they’re all real. All mine.
Publishing this edition is a huge step in my journey as a writer. It’s the start of something I’ve wanted for years — to connect with people, quietly, page by page.
If you’re reading this, I hope you’ll give my book a chance. And maybe, just maybe, you’ll find a letter inside that feels like it was written for you.
Thank you for being part of this moment. I’ll never forget it.
M. Ezzat’s Keepsake Edition is more than just a book, it’s an experience of silence transformed into words. This edition feels like holding someone’s quietest truths in your hands, presented with elegance and emotional grace.
Each letter is a gentle reminder of the things we often leave unsaid, capturing moments of longing, regret, healing, and closure. The hardcover format enhances its intimate, timeless feel making it a perfect gift, or a treasure for your own shelf.
If you’ve ever carried unsent words in your heart, this book will make you feel seen.
