If you had told me I'd enjoy a 24 pages or so story between a woman and her alien servant who has tentacles, I probably would've believed you. The story was good! I enjoyed it tremendously 🤭

It had everything you could want : a dash of angst/drama, a bit of backstory so you're not completely lost about who the characters are, and of course spicy goodness. I loved how both characters discover the differences between their species when it comes to both body description and "mating" specifities.

The book was both sweet (surprisingly) and hot ! And in case you were wondering, yes there is tentacle play 👀

I can't recommend it enough if you want quick, good spice with an alien. It just hits the spot! I'm looking forward to reading more from this author.

This was a short, but spicy read. Beverley is constantly being ignored and abandoned by her husband Riccardo, and when he claims he has to leave for a work thing, she takes some solace in their alien servant, Franz.

Franz gets around on eight powerful tentacles, rather than legs, and they can do more than just carry him around. Despite Riccardo laying down some rules about where Franz is allowed to go in his home, when Beverley asks him for help hanging a painting in her bedroom, it would have been rude to say no ....

While this was nicely spicy, it was a little tamer than some of the tentacles tales I've read, but I still enjoyed it. If you're curious about reading tentacle spice, but don't want something too extreme, this would be a nice introduction to that sub-genre of paranormal romance.

Ok so normally I’m not interested in stories containing infidelity/cheating spouses…however this is mostly smut (no complaints here), it seems this might have been a marriage of convenience or arranged or something, and there is no love lost between the husband and wife in the brief interaction we see, also it seems he’s (the husband) somewhat cruel to her and it’s intimated that he may be cheating already. She’s touch starved… and Franz (octopus type alien with the top part of a man) has so many appendages with which to touch🤗🥰🤗🥰…he seems sweet…also touch starved, as he is an alien on earth and his people normally are free with touch but he’s a servant here. And wow…. Once he starts touching???? Make sure you alone😉🔥🔥🔥 I REALLY liked this one a lot!!!!!.

I really enjoyed this story. It was a fun first part. Beverly's husband Riccardo barely pays attention to her anymore and she's lonely. They have a rich and lavish lifestyle, but she's ignored. She grows very interested in Franz, their 7-foot tall lavender-skinned tentacled alien servant. He tries to remain professional, but he's just as curious about her as she is about him. I liked that that air of curiosity carried on throughout the bedroom scene. Definitely looking forward to part two. 4 stars.

Beverly is married to Ricardo but marital bliss has turned into boredom. Ricardo barely looks at her, constantly gets text messages that make him smile, and now he's running off to work on a Sunday. She notices Franz, the alien servant, wince and give a sympathetic look. Beverly asks Franz to help her with a painting in her bedroom. Once there Franz figures out there is no painting issue. Franz asks Beverly if she wants to educate him on humans and exploring they go.

Honestly, I enjoyed this read so much. I’m happy I looked up Beatrix Steam before reading so that I got the context that the book was going to be mostly smut with little plot- which was exactly what I needed.

This was a short, easy, enjoyable read. I highly recommend to someone who is looking for palate cleaner between longer books, but who also still wants smut.

This wasn’t my typical genre but I loved it and will be picking up Beatrix Steam’s other books. And possibly looking into some alien related kinks…😂

Short, spicy, and little plot, however it has a lot of feeling. This story is well-written and allows the reader to relate to the FMC and the neglect she feels like rejection. Into the void comes an alien with tentacles, less relatable, and so the events unfold. No continuity errors, the whole story seemed to flow easily from start to finish.

A short, quick read, as hot as any story by the author. Beverly is unhappy in her marriage to her husband Richard. Franz is her servant, an alien from her world of Xala, which was destroyed. Beverly feels lonely and Franz interests her. Beverly and Franz begin to get closer, discover their bodies and they both like it very much.

It’s exactly as described: low on plot, high on heat. I would have liked more plot because I have questions!!! However, I can’t complain about a spicy little novella when that’s exactly what the author promised. Looks like there’s a 2nd book, so I’m definitely going to dive in because I did enjoy the heat.

There is cheating in this book. The female lead is in a failed marriage so she has some fun on the side.

It was exactly what the blurb said. A tiny bit of plot with a whole lot of spice. It was interesting, and a little different than other tentacle ones I've read. Overall good, but wish it was a bit longer.
