About the author

J.C. Moore is the bestselling author of the Shadow Bay thrillers, the Frank Mallory novels, and the upcoming Shattered Horizon series.

His books are known for dark suspense, grounded characters, and the kind of trouble that keeps getting worse the deeper people dig.

Before writing full time, he worked a long list of jobs including bartender, IT technician, horse farm manager, touring musician, and restaurant owner. Some of his music later appeared in television and film.

He lives in upstate New York with his partner and their dog, spends too much money on books and guitars, and is a member of the Mystery Writers of America.

As always very entertaining, fun and easy to read. You never disappoint Mr. Moore! My favorite stories were "Death Masks", and "They Called Him The Boogeyman ".

Highly recommend his books for fans of middle grade and young adult genres (for mystery and horror).

I can't wait for your next book release.
