Artist Bridget Sullivan is burnt-out and just needs a holiday. A restful painting holiday in France is just the ticket, but things don’t go at all to plan. One of her fellow artists is found dead ‘en plein air’ and the peaceful escape becomes a crime scene.
As local police bumble through interviews and accusations fly faster than flicked paint, Bridget recognizes disturbing similarities to a murder back home.
Coincidence or something far more personal?
With her sketchbook, a sharp eye, and even sharper intuition, Bridget works with policeman friend Eddie to unravel the mystery.
Perfect for fans of art, mystery, and Richard Osman, Janice Hallett or Bella Mackie.

Second in the series and I'm already looking forward to number three. Bridget is at it again, seeing crimes where she shouldn't. This one is more of a who done it than the first one and I enjoyed trying to work out who did it. Was shocked to find out who did. Quirky and dark, just like the first one. Definitely recommend this five star read.
Bridget is such a great character and I thoroughly enjoyed the second book in the series. I had to drop one star though as there were so many typographical errors which really should have been spotted during the editing process.
