Halloween is here in Cornwall, and while it’s immediately clear to Mack that it’s not nearly as big a deal as it is back in America, someone decides to take advantage of the night to steal a display of gold jewelry from the art museum.

The museum’s curator calls in both Aksel and Mack to solve the case, and they’ve got to work together to get to the bottom of things. Mean‐while, Sophie’s sticker business is taking off, and Ada has a decision to make about her future.

But as Mack gets closer to solving the case, she soon uncovers a conspiracy that’s much bigger than she could have ever imagined. Will she find the thief in time, or will she be too late to stop an even bigger disaster?

I have read the whole series. The main character is very strong and the twists and turns keep you reading on what is happening next. I found myself laughing out loud and also exclaiming a "oh, no" at this characters daring.

I need to note that the proofreading needs to be better. Especially when in a previous book the character has one name and changes to another name. Very distracting. The character Sean changed to the spelling Shaun then changed entirely to Stuart.

I liked the story line and concept but I’m so frustrated at the Authors error of Sophie’s boyfriends name… when first introduced in earlier books he was Sean, then it was Shaun and in this book his name went to Stuart. I find that this error is so sloppy and lazy that it really made me question how much the author is correct in her descriptions of Cornwall or other things like that in the series.

a bit did appointed….

There are a few series of Jasmine Webbs that I look forward to and this is one of them. I did enjoy the story but it seemed really short. I was really looking forward to her and Askel working together but there wasn’t as much as I hoped. Still a good series, just not my favorite story

Excellent

I don't normally rate the series until I finish it, however I don't want to wait this time. First, I really loved the characters. The plot was strong and interesting. However, the editing was a problem. Sophie's boyfriend's name changed with each book and there were several other things.

Another good Cozy Mysyery

I always enjoy your Cozy Mysteries. I love the old small town setting and the characters who live there. Mack is such a good crime solver I look forward to the next book I’m this series.

This is the 8th book in a series that I am reading. I would definitely recommend the entire series to anyone interested in a crime, murder, mystery series. It is a fun book series with great characters.

I enjoy the characters and the plot but boy did this book need proofreading. They were inconsistencies all over the place.

Jewel Heist

And juicy jewel heist. All the usual characters. Nice growth and development. Web hits gold again. These are fun mysteries to try to solve before Mack does.

what’s the boyfriends name?

There are several places where a better proofreader/editor is needed, but the most glaring is changing Sophie’s boyfriend’s name from Sean to Stuart.
