glad i finished the series but it def dragged for me towards the end. the epilogue felt more like a dj or fanfic although it was sweet to see him become a dad. not as interested in the son so i'll prob not read ragnorak. overall it had some peak moments and cool art but got repetitive and the stakes felt pretty diminished at times given jinwoo's strength. still gotta give igris the red 10/10 - wish they had left his original chara design instead of going purple black.
After the 2nd season in anime i was like hell no, am not waiting for another year or two to watch the next season i wanna know what will happen now 😂 i was lucky to find the manga colored.
This is part 1 covering the first 11 side stories, and part 2 will cover the rest. I love the entire series and also the side stories as they cover some what-if scenarios and some future stories. All fun and all lovely. Let's just Keep on reading. This was the third re-read, and I would continue to read the series and probably start collecting the physical copies, like someone said, to support the creators.
I have always loved comics, and I can and I have. I love comics to bits, may the comics never leave my side. I loved reading this and love reading more. You should also read what you love, and I hope you will always love it. Even though I grew up reading local Indian comics like Raj Comics, Diamond Comics, or even Manoj Comics, now's the time to catch up on international and classic comics and Graphic novels. I am on my quest to read as many comics as I just want to Keep on Reading.
Could not wait for the next season of anime so all I could do was read it.
It was very worth it! Still funny how getting stronger makes you more hot, but I don't mind that. Also that statue will forever be part of my nightmares :)))
Retaining their memories of the previous timeline, Jinwoo and his shadow army settle into life within an alternate history where the Gates never opened, seeking new purpose - and reforming lost bonds - while deciding who will and will not learn the forgotten truths. Chugong and Disciples offer fans a charming and humourous series of epilogue chapters, an enjoyable blend of engaging tensions and heartwarming slice-of-life goodness. What new life shall the Shadow Monarch lead when the fate of humanity is no longer on his shoulders?
I really thought the epilogue would be a fun little wrap-up but I couldn't bring myself to care about most of it except for the shadow summons. Beru, as always, was the only one keeping me remotely interested.
It felt like the author tried to squeeze in some real-life, fanservice-y moments, but it all came off so forced that I nearly DNFed it. Just didn’t hit the mark for me.
ok this is a review for the entire manhwa bc i read it all in one go so.
GOOD LAWRDDDDDDDDD I FINALLY FINISHED THIS SHIT i was contemplating whether i should log the manhwa but i finished all 14 volumes in one sitting so pretty sure i deserve to add this to my stats because my back is ACHING and i haven't slept yet and it's already 8AM!!!!! someday i'll read a novel again fr i swear i'm a #reader but ao3 + tv/movies have me in a chokehold atm... ANYWAY ORV BETTER i only started this because i wanted to see what the hype was about and then persevered to the end because i thought it was a waste if i dropped it when i've come so far lmfao i liked it but idc about it much i fear i miss kim dokja's company
This was long overdue.. My close friend had asked me to watch this manga and was raving about it. Eventually this ended up in my watch list items and the day arrived - little did I know I would binge watch it but did I expect it to be damn good? Yes! And it has surpassed those expectations.
I was obsessing over the remaining episodes and knew I would not get a season release until 2026 end or who knows when! So I decided to pick up the book and I was blown away.
I loved it so much and this has a special place in my heart just as much as the Naruto series. I cannot get over this and I wish I could wipe away these memories so I could enjoy these emotions fresh
Wow, the extra episodes were really good. I enjoyed the series so much. I didn't like the anime that much but couldn't wait for what would happen next so I ended up reading the whole thing. It was a good choice. I now look forward to reading Ragnarok.
look the ending was kinda weird i get that like after EVERYTHING that has gone down... but its fun seeing this kinda life for jinwoo. him going back and doing things somewhat normally (well letting everyone else be normal) and him falling in love LIKE... I ENJOYED IT
Side stories, part one, mostly about what happened after Sung Jinwoo reset the world. They're not bad, but they're not as in-depth as I would've hoped for. Very hasty, with great time-jumps. They're not by the original artist either, but the quality of illustrations doesn't suffer from it.
