A wave of kaiju spawn is fast approaching his Settlement. It'll be up to Pax and his allies to ensure their remnant of humanity can survive the hostile world around them. New dangers, however, bring new opportunities, and Pax is ready to push his power even higher. With elves and dwarves to bolster their ranks, Pax won't let anything destroy his Safe Zone.
And once the Wave has been dealt with, Pax has his sights set on a larger target. He's after the biggest threat any of them have ever seen.
Began gaming at the age of 8 and explored a lot of different ways to play table top. When I got older, I experimented with MMOs and found a few I really liked. My first job was mowing lawns as a young teen, and I worked to use the money to pay for fantasy series like DragonLance, Dark Sun, and Forgotten Realms. As soon as I discovered LitRPG I knew I wanted to incorporate it into my writing.
Aside from taking care of my sons as a single father, writing is what I love to do most. I hope you all enjoy my work.
This book was a pretty strong conclusion to the first arc of this series.
The OP remains a little too OP for my preferred tastes, since between his own combat abilities and all of his "pets" he summons, he's a one man army. This is proven at one point in the book when the rest take a rest break and he handles the same number of creatures in a massive wave by himself. So many of his women are kick butt warriors, and yet they are greatly diminished by his overwhelming abilities too often.
One woman joins the harem, and it was one of the two we suspected would join. The other is on the cusp, but the author deliberately saved her joining for the next arc.
Bizarre book. Literally the first 3/4 of the book were completely bland, the characters had no personality beyond ‘horny’ (or ‘serious, sometimes horny’ for Pax), the whole thing was a real drudge. Then at 75% it was like a miracle happened, all their personalities switched back on and it was like, boy, I wish the rest of the book was like this. Average marks is the best I can do as I was seriously about to stop reading. Mystery novel but not in the fun way.
