This was a ok story for me. It brought along a few old tropes with a few twists that made the story interesting. I loved Nova & Phoenix relationship from the start and wanted more of their dynamics from before they were connected as mates. I felt the author really left behind a lot after pairing the two friends as mates. I also noticed some inconsistencies that left me wondering on certain things. But other than that, the story was OK. It's a long one and to me it's fits more on the magical side of things than werewolf. I'll admit there were places where the story did drag for me, but I generally did like the story.

I really enjoyed this book. This is a longer read but it was engaging. I really enjoyed Nova and Phoenix's relationship-intensity and romance. I didn't quite care for some of the sex scenes as I felt like their relationship was strong enough without it on here. The plot and the fantasy elements were great. This world Babin has built is great! Looking forward to continuing this series with book 2 and a different couple.

He left her years ago and she tried to block him from her mind but now he is back. He has something living inside him and he needs to keep her safe but it may be too late for that now. He will do anything to keep her safe see if he can

I wasn't sure what to expect with this book and I was definitely surprised by how good it was. It starts out grabbing your attention, with lots of surprises throughout and keeps you drawn in to the end. I can't wait to read the remaining books.

Omg. Amazing story. Fantastic detailed storyline. Crazy plot twists. So much secrets and suspense filled pages. This was intense. I couldn’t put it down. Absolutely recommend!!

pretty decent book! has some troupes that have been around for awhile now. love the twists and turns. Definitely a vibe read for me
