On Sale for a Limited time! From USA TODAY Bestselling Author Nora Flite-- the first book in Beyond Blood, a multi-part series:
Jacob: We've seen and done horrific things. One rule keeps us from destroying each other: Share everything. So when little miss curves and confidence swings her hips into our lives... Well. The rule can't change. I already said it. We share everything. That includes Marina. Even if we help her--the only kind of help two hitmen can offer--we can't let her live. No risks. No mistakes. We want to taste and touch and suffocate on this woman. But our desires don't matter. This ends with her in a cold grave.
Author's Note-- Cliffhanger ahead! Book 2 will be released this November. This is NOT a Love Triangle. Contains explicit, erotic scenes and themes of violence/mature situations. The first book in the Beyond Blood Series Approximately 200 pages
A USA Today Bestselling Author, Nora Flite lives in Burbank, California where the weather is warm and she doesn't have to shovel snow—something she never grew to love in her tiny home-state of Rhode Island. All of her romances involve passionate, filthy, and slightly obsessive heroes.
Well since Nora was so freaking awesome enough to send me an ARC of Book 2 so that I did not have to stew in my OOOOMMMMGGGGGness I want it now... I thought it would be a good idea to get my review written for book 1.
For the Thrill is a very good introduction to the Beyond Blood series. Don't expect to get all of the answers or deep into the heat of things quite yet. Also do not get me wrong the sexual tension between these three people is palpable and there are several smoking hot scenes. When an author can make a kiss make you sweat you know the sex is going to be FIRE!!!
Marina is an orphan and alone in the world with only one thing that fuels her in life... revenge!
Jacob and Kite are hitmen... well, retired now... and when their world collides with Marina's mission of revenge, they are all thrown into a passionate maze of secrets, lies, violence, and danger.
I really cannot say anymore as this is a quick read, and you are given a great deal of information in that time. November 8th don't walk, RUN, and pick this one up. You already know that book 2 is ready so there will not be a long wait in this series for those who hate that. This one does not end on a cliffhanger but it does leave you anticipating what you know is about to come next!!!
Quote Love: "A long sleeved grey button-down came next, the bright sapphire of my tie accenting my eyes. The shoes were always the same; mirror polished and unscuffed."
"Giving in to my basest of urges was too risky. I'd told her, leaving evidence was a mistake. Fucking her and digging my teeth into her shoulder, my cock feeding between her lovely thighs, it would be a map that pointed back to me."
"I'm going to make sure he understands my message." She was challenging us with her glare. Marina had shifted back from wilting flower to raging storm."
"The concept of someone else cleaning my gun was... almost sordid... As for me? Watching her lube the barrel, gliding her fist all over the shaft... come on. The visual was practically pornographic. I could see the crevice between her breasts with the way she leaned, her lower lip tucked in her teeth."
"Now I grab your thick fucking hair and see how my aim is when I shove my ridiculous hard-on between your thighs."
"Yanking the last of my clothing down, I fisted the base of my shaft. It arched into the air, veins like serpents on a sugar high."
"Hunching low, I pulled her to me and captured her lips. I wasn't gentle, the kiss was meant to show her my point. Ghosts don't feel, ghosts don't whimper, and ghosts don't fucking bleed."
OMG!!!!! IT CAN'T END THERE!!!! REVIEW TO COME.... I NEED BOOK TWO NOW PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE :)

well done great start to a great new series....Note ends sort of on a cliffhanger.... :(
Received a copy from the Author for my honest review / opinion. Wow! Kite and Jacob are best friends /blood brothers and hit men who share everything including women. They are ready to retire their hats as hitmen when they meet Marina who tries to blackmail them into helping her exact revenge on the man responsible for brutalizing and killing her parents /sister when she was 6 years old. After Marina witnesses Kite conduct his "last" hit on one of the men responsible for her parents / sisters death , she stalks and follows him and Jacob to convince them to help her find the other man responsible so she can kill him herself. The dynamics between the three of them is hot and even though they don't trust Marina since she basically is blackmailing them, they are both intensely attracted to her. I am anxious to see what happens between the three of them and what will happen to Marina? Will they really help her in her mission and what will they do about their feelings for each other ? Can't wait to read the next book! Loves this book. !
I just finished For the Thrill and Oh My God, Jacob and Kite, sigh. They are hitmen who really don’t care about anyone else. I mean of course not, they kill for a living. So is it so wrong that I completely fell for the two of them? Because I did and I can see why Marina is just as fascinated with them.
Jacob and Kite have been best friends since they were younger. Actually they are more than just best friends, they are blood brothers. They know each other better than anyone. They understand each other and know exactly what the other is feeling. They own a bar together but also work as a team to kill. But that part of their life has come to an end, after finishing their last hit. They have never been caught, always taking great care in using their skill to do what they do. But when Marina Fidel walks into their bar things change, because she knows. She knows exactly what they do. But Marina is not there to turn them in, she is there because she needs their help. Now Jacob and Kite’s first instinct, of course is to kill her. But knowing that killing her may have consequences they go with their second choice. Help her out and then take care of the situation at a later date. But in order to help her things need to go their way. She has no choice but to move in with them in exchange for their help.
Marina is a beautiful woman who is after one thing. Revenge! She knows how dangerous going to Kite and Jacob really is. But she doesn’t care. She wants one thing and if working with two very dangerous men will help her achieve her goal then who is she to argue, even if it means living with them. There is no denying that Jacob and Kite are attractive men. But what truly draws her to the both of them is the danger. She knows falling for a hit man is very dangerous and wrong on so many levels. But she cannot control what her body feels when she is near them. Being with Jacob or Kite reeks of danger. But will it be worth the risk?
Jacob and Kite feel the same attraction towards Marina. There is just something about the woman no matter how much they know being with her is wrong and sloppy. But no matter what they have rules. And no matter what happens between them and Marina, the rules will never be broken.
I love this book and cannot wait to start the second one in the series. This is a little dark in the sense that the well Jacob and Kite kill people, for money. But there is also that element of suspense of what will happen next? Will they stick to their rule? How will being with Marina get in the way of their plan? And will she come between two blood brothers? Even if they share everything, one has to wonder how the both of them sharing Marina will really work. These are all questions that I need answers to and know that we will get them as the series goes on and I cannot wait.
The first book or series that I read by Ms. Flite is her Body Rocks series which was fantastic. I have since read her other books and loved them all. But I think that this one may top the Body Rock series. It has such a unique and different storyline that I loved. I read it in one sitting and did not want it to end. Jacob and Kite are two very interesting characters both of who I just want more of. Marina is tough and smart and may understand more than one thinks. I loved her and cannot wait to see what she brings out in these two men. This is told in all three points of views, which I love. It is always nice to see the story from all views. It never got confusing and flowed perfectly. And I loved getting inside the head of these two very bad and very dangerous men. They kill for money and they thrive on it. Trust me no matter how dangerous these men are, you will fall for them and be wishing you were Marina. Another excellent read from Nora Flite.
a smart and not-a-mainstream menage story. cant wait the steamy level up a lot of notches in the next book.

For The Thrill
ARC given by the author via GR's DHASG group, in exchange of an honest review.
Enjoyment quantity :: 4.5 stars Literature quality :: 3 stars
Heroine :: Marina Fidel. Hero :: Jacob Fallow. Kite Lawson. Blood Brothers. Hitmen. Bar owner. Jacob is the stick to order one. Kite is the carefree, the sensitive one. Blood Brothers.
“I want her. You want her. That means we both get to have Marina...” "Or neither of us does.”
A supposedly erotic romance turned romantic suspense. Hitmen. Revenge. Alternating MC POV. Male POV. New York. Club owners. Tragedy. Masacree. Some bromance. No detailed description of physical appearance, just here and there. Under 25 y.o. To be continued.
Sharing is the keyword. From the thrill of kills, a bottle of Johnny Walker blue, till a woman. But dont be fooled by the blurbs. It is hinting a lot "sharing" experience, lots MFM actions. I thought at first, this would be typical menage erotica. Not much of a storyline. But NO! Actually in this book, the storyline is what driving the whole book. Tough the character is nicely described, the story still revolves around the plot instead of the character.
"There is something so paralyzing about a quiet danger. While Kite had been a million screaming crows and saw-blades, Jacob was a crocodile under the surface of a lake."
Usually a menage themed story jumped straight to sex, never doing the getting to know you part. Not in this case with this one, the sexual tension close to nothing till 25% end of the book. Not in a bad way. They actually try to solve the revolving issues between them first, then move to getting to know each other, then come the sexy times. I really give this notion a thumbs up. Its different from mainstream menage book.
"Was it that bad to want to grab hold of a man who had held me at gunpoint, if he made my thighs squeeze and my heart swell?"
What amaze me that, each of the men have a different kind of connection and bonding with the girl. And its very distinctive between each other .
“Come for me first. Then I'll fuck you. Is that really so cruel?”
Well. Overall. I enjoy this. Might even read the next book, but not that eager. Have a feeling that the next book would be a full blown erotica. Still thinking that this book might end perfectly if she got a taste of each men first. And this book could used much addition of sexy times, though it is still interesting as it is.
I have loved everything I have read of this author and this was no exception. For the Thrill is definitely well titled. The story gets under your skin and you can not wait to see what happens next. I loved the direction the story took, the characters, the darkness, everything. This has me hooked. Kite is a twenty something, good looking guy. He has one true friend, Jacob. They live in the same apartment building, own a bar together, and oh, he is a hit man. Jacob is a detailed kind of guy. Sexy, but organized. He is half owner in a bar. He has one best friend, Kite. And he is the other half of a team, a hit man too. He tends to set them up while Kite usually does the hit. Marina is a determined young woman. She is the sole survivor of a tragedy that hit her family. She has no friends, no family, and only one goal in her mind. Revenge. It is all she cares about. Kite and Jacob are hit men with a plan. Work contracts for 5 years, get out. They only trust each other. They know everything about each other and it served them well. They own a bar, they had a plan. Last contract, clean and neat, no surprises. They completed the job, and retired. For Kite, it was very difficult not doing what he was good at. He drank too much. Little did they know that someone did see them kill the last guy. She saw because she was following the mark. He and another man were responsible for killing her family. She had waited 16 years. She wanted revenge. Only she did not know who the second man was. And now she couldn't ask. Kite had killed her only lead. Marina had seen Kite's distinctive tattoos and tracked them down. But can she stay alive long enough to get them to help her? She wants to kill the other man. Can her "insurance" keep Kite and Jacob from murdering her too? She figures she has nothing to lose. And they are sexy. She wasn't expecting them to be. Both of them. How much will all three of their lives change as Marina seeks justice for her family? Or will she just become another victim? Can Jacob and Kite take the money and the risk? They never made mistakes anymore. They had learned from the ones they had. This whole situation just gets more complicated by the minute. This book has me so hooked that I cannot wait to watch this unfold. Nora Flite is one of the best at surprising the reader. Nothing is ever what you think it will be. I am hooked.
For me, this one doesn't belong on the romance shelf, but that doesn't meant it has none, it's just... anticlimactic. If I would have bought the three novellas separately I would be slightly pissed about the price.
The trilogy starts off good and interesting, as you jump right into action and learn about the characters and their history. I really enjoyed that, however the same pace didn't work out in the installments. I was bored, simply because the author tries imitate a crime story here. I started to flip through the pages to get back to action. Especially the second book is plain boring, because instead of investigation where the villain is, I rather would have read more about the three characters.
As the promised M/F/M hotness: there is none in the first book. Well year, our female lead is attracted to both but just has sex with one of them. Imagine my surprise that the other one doesn't get alone time at all later on. The description of the scenes when our lead character's are getting it on are... okay, but far too brief, so I actually ponder whether I should shelf it as erotica or not...
And the end... you can see it coming, it's not really plausible, but you're used to turn two blind eyes by then.
All in all this book was a disappointment. I wasn't hooked enough to read the whole stuff about investigating and so on. If you want some quick non-demanding book. This might be for you. But it's not outstanding.
Here's a little bit about me. I am one of those who absolutely love series books, especially novellas. I may say or act angry because of the cliffhangers but really I am just mad because I have to wait. Lately, some novella series are so short and it has a hard time holding my attention. With that said, For the Thrill by Nora Flite has brought back why I love novella series in the first place. I first read Hard Body Rock and loved her way with words and sexual tension she brings between her characters.
She messaged me here on GR asking if I could read her new novella. I jumped on the chance to read more from this author without even reading the synopsis (if you read HBR by Nora Flite you would do the same), all I really knew was that it was a romatic suspense. I was blown away from the very first page till the ending!!
I loved that we get to see everything from each of the main characters POVs. I would love to get into Jacobs head *wink wink*. I like that Nora has decided to write a semi "dark" book. It is not your average boy meets girl, they fall in love, and live happily ever after story. Its gritty and sinfully delicious. Sometimes books like these has either a too hard a$$ heroine or someone who is too vulnerable, Nora gives Marina just enough of both to make her intriguing and mysterious.
Book 2 seriously cannot get here fast enough. This cliffhanger says "come back for more because its going to get good."
I want to be the filling in a Jacob and Kite sandwich...OMG!! I am going to say right off the bat that I HATE serial type books...especially when they end at the really good part and I have to wait for what happens next! Two killers, a wanna-be killer and a really horrible, unforgettable childhood nightmare and you have some of the elements of this new thrilling (and very sexy) series. Marina was a little girl when she witnessed her family being brutalized and murdered...and has spent many years trying to find and kill the men responsible. Just as she is about to make that dream a reality, she catches a hitman taking out one of her intended targets and it goes from there. What happens when she stalks and finds the hitmen, intending to enlist their help in finding the second killer so SHE can be the one to get sweet revenge...and they can't decide if they want to put her in the ground or put her in a bed somewhere and play...well that is the fun stuff you will discover when you read this one. I loved it...it was fast, playful, dangerously intense and sexy as hell. Bring on the next book because where it ended about drove me crazy...geez! I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
***** 5 ***** "a killer thriller with a sexy surprise of a twist"
Two gorgeous hitmen. That's right two. One smooth, refined and sexy, and the other rough, brash and handsome. With one last kill they are finally finished with the lifestyle.
Enter Marina. She has lost everyone. Her family is dead. She finds one of the men responsible and is about to commit murder for the first time in her life. There's only one catch, the man she's about to exact revenge on drops dead.
From then on out, it's a thrill (sorry)ride of blackmail, lust and heartache. The steamy parts are, well... as you'd expect them to be from Nora Flite. Fantastic!
It's incredibly hard not to cheer for these characters. This isn't a story you see often and in a lot of ways it had the potential to just not work. Fortunately for us, Nora not only pressed this coal into diamond but shinned it brilliantly. I can not wait for the second book!
There is a cliffhanger ending, but c'mon, it's in the name(#1). So prepare yourself for that. I hear she's wrapped up the second book so we wont have to wait long for more Kite, Jacob and Marina.
I'm team Kite but... why not both? I'm sure Nora has some wicked stuff in store for them and us!
Kite and Jacob are blood brothers who share everything. They also happen to be hit men. Well they are supposed to be retiring when a little spitfire named Marina comes along. Marina wants only one thing revenge. She approaches Kite and Jacob and asks that they teach her how to kill the only question is what they plan on doing with her too. What none of them were counting on is the strong attraction between Marina and the two men.
This is my favorite book to date by Nora Flite. The characters are very quirky and eccentric. Its got a sort of noir-ish vibe going on. The book definitely has its own distinctive...personality, for lack of a better word. Kite is also my favorite character out of all of the books by this author. He puts the bad in badass. The sex scene between Kite and Marina is hot, hot, hot! I cant wait to find out what happens with the three of them next!
I don't think there will be a lot of in between opinions on this book. I think people will either love it or absolutely hate it. I am firmly on the love it side of things. I cant wait for the next book!
Kite and Jacob are def H.O.T!! Delicious duo with guns and Marina wants revenge for her family equals cliffhanger!! Love it and I can't wait for the next book.
“That rush. That fucking rush. Nothing compared to this. Nothing from this bland world, anyway. Believe me. I've tried every other high."
“He told my dad obey, or be killed. That was his message to anyone else who stood up for themselves. I'm going to make sure he understands my message.” She was challenging us with her glare. Marina had shifted back from wilting flower to raging storm. “You can't murder my family and live happily ever after.”
“No one had ever handled us both. Marina wouldn't be the first... and knowing that sobered me. That girl with her tempting hips and perceptive eyes, she had no clue what we had in store for her. Beyond the reality of our plan to throw her to the wolves—or the Jackals—and free us from the risk she represented. Beyond all of the grimness. What waited for Marina would be too much for her. In more ways than one, I felt in my heart that we would destroy her. And I didn't care. If it meant I got to taste her again... I didn't care at all.”
I love me a good romantic suspense and I sure do love revenge stories. This book has it all and keaves you wanting so much more. The great thing about this book is that it is written in all the POVs and we get to see what each one is thinking or feeling. This is not your average HEA type story but puts you into the mind of a hitman. Aren't killers worthy of love too? After reading this novella it has made me believe so. I am totally rooting for Jacob, Kite, and Marina. This is definitely not a love triangle you may be thinking. Without giving anything away, this thriller is sexy, gritty, and unexpecting,
The characters in this novella are very well developed in such a short time. One thing that makes a good book is good chemistry between the "hero" (in this case heroes) and the heroine. Nora writes the hottest sexual tension that goes on between her H/h. And the way that Marina is not afraid of Kite and Jacob is amazing and I hope one day to have her courage. This novella is a great start and their story is just beginning and I cannot wait to read more of it!
*I was given this arc from the author for my honest review and I was in no way compensated*
This book was awesome!!!!!! I absolutely loved it! I can't wait for the next one to come out, I'm going to go crazy waiting!!
I love how meticulous Kite & Jacob are...how they think everything through, it was a bit disturbing. How careful they are with every aspect of their lives. Marina isn't really afraid of anything or anyone, she says she has already lost what was important to her. She stalked Kite and Jacob to learn their habits so she could approach them with her request or her blackmail really. When she enters the bar and goes straight for Kite, his immediate reaction to her is quite amusing. He thinks she's there for sex, that other women he has been with have spoken highly of his prowess and he couldn't be further from the truth! The three, Marina, Kite and Jacob, definitely have chemistry. I love how the characters interacted with one another and how they came together. How Ms. Flite is going to bring this together has me on pins and needles
I received an advanced copy from the author in exchange for an honest review!
First off, I loved the Kite|Jacob|Marina experience! This book proves that when someone feels as if they have nothing to lose, they’re willing to do ANYTHING.
The bond displayed by Kite & Jacob was remarkable, the fact that they were able to make a career out of becoming hitmen, without ever seeing a jail cell or a coffin (or so we think) speaks to the control, trust and strength they show and have for each other.
But then here comes Marina and practically turns their world upside down in a matter of hours. At first, I thought – this chick is bananas, but then I determined, this chick IS bananas – like certifiably crazy! But her reasoning for her behavior is completely understandable.
I hope the author is able to keep the momentum going in book two and we see the Kite|Jacob|Marina experience get better!!!!
I love ready whatever this author writes! This book was definitely a page turner for me.
Marina is a young woman who wants revenge for the loss of her family. Her parents ans sister were brutally murdered when she was 6. When she finally tracks down the only lead to her family's murderers, she witnesses him being killed. She basically tries to blackmail the killer of the guy who murdered her family by asking him to train her how to kill. She wants to go after the second person involved in her family's death.
Kite and Jacob are hot alpha hit men who own a bar together. They have a plan to retire after their next hit. However, Marina witnesses Kite's last hit. An intense attraction between Marina and the two men that no one saw coming.
Will Kite and Jacob kill Marina for being a witness to the hit? I can't wait for the next book. I received this book in return for an honest review.

I received an advanced copy from the author in exchange for an honest review. There are 3 main characters: Kite a hitman and blood brother to Jacob who is also a hitman. Maybe I should say retired hitmen because Kite gets seen on his last hit by Marina who wanted to kill the target Frank herself for personal reasons of vengeance. Marina tries to blackmail them into letting her hire them to help her find a second target and teach her how to kill. As this story progresses we find emotions running high between Kite, Jacob, and Marina as well as an increase in sexual tensions. A great read that leaves the reader wanting for the next installation.

For The Thrill is a great start to what's going to be a great series. I can say that this book has me hooked on all things wrote by Nora now. Only problem I have with this book is that I need more! It really is a thrilling, hot read. The attraction between all 3 characters are through the roof. But there's also the dangerous vibe because Kite and Jacob are 2 "retired" hitmen and with Marina figuring them out, they know something will have to be done about this and that she can never tell anyone. Marina has her own agenda of why she hunts them down and even though she knows it's a dangerous game she's playing with them, she doesn't care because she has revenge on her mind but she never guessed the situations it would put her in. Book 1 ends leaving us wanting more and setting us up for book 2 and what's to come. I'm so excited to see how everything plays out between the 3 and from the ending we got from this book, I know the next one is going to be off the charts HOT and hopefully give us some more answers. Loved it and I would for sure recommend this!
Okay so this is my first time dabbling in a Novella series and I must say I don't know how to feel. I love the idea of short stories meant to keep you coming back for more, but I would honestly rather read a 600 page book than to keep buying short novella's and reading them in about an hour at most. I must be weird.
Anyways, I LOVED this story. Jacob and Kite have my heart in such a strange way. I must have become desensitized to all things fucked up (due to copious amounts of reading I'm assuming) because I was drawn to them in such a strong way. I honestly could have done without Marina, I felt like she was just an extra when Jacob and Kite took center stage for me. She had way too many cheesy lines and I felt no connection to her what-so-ever.
I loved the fact that these two are opposites in every way, yet they are one in the same. I have a feeling that there is some drama ahead due to the (obvious) foreshadowing in the book, but I won't think that these two will ever part. I must be fucked up because I kind of wanted Kite and Jacob to end up together....hmmmm.
I really don't know how many books this story will have but this is a very good -perfect- book number 1.
Obviously, being the first book, it explains the story, presents the characters and leaves you with almost more questions than answers at the end. The most important question being when will book #2 be released.
The story goes around 3 people: Kite and Jacob, two young men, best friends, blood brothers...and recently retired hitmen; and Marina, an orphan, survivor of a very ugly tragedy that happened 16 years ago and who is looking for revenge (while doing this the crashes into Jacob and Kite's lives).
It's a very well written romantic suspense. Got my attention from the very beginning.
Wow! You ever read a book that draws you in instantly & you cannot put it down? I've read a ton of great books, but only a few times have I experienced the thrill of a book so good that I can't even explain in words how much I love it. This is why I download a ton of free books, then go through all the "meh" one's, on the off chance that I find a book like this. This is my 1st Nora Flite book & I hooked. I wouldn't have expected from the synopsis that I would have loved this book so much, I mean two retiring hitmen who never leave any evidence, dead or alive. A woman bent on vengeance, blackmailing them into helping her. It shouldn't have worked but baby it did! Read all 3 of these books, you will not be disappointed. Plus at the end she gives an extra little novella for free :)
Let me begin by saying that I am really looking forward to book 2.
This story is told from 3 different POV's - Jacob, Kite, and Marina (by the way, I think this was a great idea by the author!!).
It was a slow start for me. The first chapter begins with a very dramatic scene unfolding - unfortunately I did not feel the intensity as I was reading it.
However, once these 3 characters begin their arrangement, it picked up for me. I loved seeing how Jacob and Kite interacted with Marina, while at the same time figuring out their game plan.
I look forward learning more about these characters and the sharing that will take place in book 2.
*UPDATE* The entire series is combined in Never Kiss a Bad Boy.
I absolutely loved this book and cannot wait for the next one in the series. We finally have a gifted writer who is willing to break away from the cookie cutter themes that take up much of ROMANCE books today. (You know,billionaire/alpha male meets quirky young single girl for sex, sex, and unbelievably more sex.) One thing I love is Ms. Flite has the ability to make her characters real. You feel them, understand them, and root for them. Jacob, Kite and Marina are tangible people whose storyline you want more of. (I personally hope she winds up with Kite -- but that is just me.) This is a definite must read to me. Try it, I am sure you'll end up wanting more like I am.
First, I loved Marina. She's strong, confident and determined, everything a kickass heroine needs to be. I really liked that she didn't take any shit from Kite or Jacob.
Let's talk about THEM. Hitmen, cold-blooded killers. God, they were hot, especially Kite. Something I expect in future books is a little more information about their past; I'm intrigued.
The plot is not exactly new but I liked how it was executed. At first, the pace is a little slow but around the 25% it picks up and doesn't stop until the end.
First in a three part series, Marina is out for revenge and on her quest she stumbles upon a pair of hitmen, who takes out one of her intended victims. Needing help to find the other one, she convinces them to help her. Jacob and Kite were just retired from the hitman career when Miranda came along. Now they need to take care of her, since she´s the only one alive who´s capable of identifying them as the Jackals. Quick read, suspense, action and smutty fluff in a great combo.
Wow what a great start to this story. Kite and Jacob I do believe have met their match with Marina. Kite and Jacob come from a past of abuse and neglect and have made their way as killers. Finally deciding to get out if the business they make their final kill only to meet Marina which turns them upside down. I can't wait to read more in this series.
