The beginning of the book seemed a bit lackluster. The dungeon dives didn't pull me in, not like the first ones. And still there was the harem aspect, Kos Play toned it way, way back, which is the only reason I was even able to read the series, a known consequence. But boy do the sexual innuendos fly! The farther I delved into the story I realized that the book had changed to more of a slice-of-life adventure, with fighting bein just a side job. As Alex, the now King of Albion sets out to not only level himself but his Kingdom too, and like I said fighting monsters, and saving the universe another side-job. I also felt that the ending dragged on too long for my taste. But Alex finishes what he sets out to do, with a good wrap-up ending the trilogy.
And yeah you're gonna hafta grab the to discover how the adventure plays out.

Story never really makes sense

The first part of the first book is a funny fun loving story while still exciting and intriguing (I liked this part enough to continue reading). All the remainder of book 1 all of book 2 and 80 % of 3 is a tragic angst arc. No humor or fun to be found. Then the last 20% of book 3 becomes a relaxed empire building story? Chaotic and made no sense.

Interesting and imaginative.

This adds a level of realism that I’ve only ever seen George R. R. Martin use. The ups and downs had me reading way past bed time.

The story has lost most of its interest as it travels to the MC kingdom and becomes intergalactic with gods involved.

Great Trilogy

I loved all three books, I am really hoping for more books. It had some nice surprises, and definitely some twists to it. Keep writing Kos Play.

Great series!

Excellent books. Loved the wrap up and tied most of the loose ends. (That poor first dungeon. Robbed and forgotten...)
