Amazing Loved it. BDSM is a lifestyle to be understood, its as individual as the people themselves. Always keep in mind the three basic rules should never be altered... after that how one proceeds is up to that person and what they are looking for. I liked how Lora Ann brought that across in this book.
This read was twisted in some parts had me going damn a few times. Its not a stand alone, elemenets from the first one is in this one also , but truly worth the read.
Even .. E to most people thinks his life is pretty much settled, or so he thought. The youngest brother of three and a career path that would leave most gasping and turning their nose up... but secretly wishing they could be a part of. Lately women just didn't stir that need anymore... or so he thought.
Lacey “the good daughter” straight laced girl next door.. now a stripper out looking for her sister. She is in the middle of her set when she notices him. Lacey has been burning up pavement for some clue on where her sister is....all she gets is the feeling of danger and hopelessness.
There as been young women coming up missing... Alex another strand brother has been on the case of sorts with no viable lead. No women are safe.. not even Aimee.
I wanted to hand out a few slaps to the back of the head. I had to put my tablet down, then pick it up again, I like how easily your life shifts. If you read “Branded” then pull up a seat and let Lora Ann shock you, make you mad and make you giggle.. had a few times I saw myself fanning my face.
What a exciting journey this story was … I dont think I can find one negative about bound ..Do I recommend it .. hell yeah! It was fun in parts, it was enlightening in parts. Dangerous in parts... Id have to say some scenes were intense I found myself in a WTF or WTH mode a few times. Enjoy

Book two in the Strand Brothers series. Book one we got Niks story. Now this is Evens (E)story. I highly recommend you read book one before you jump into this story.
E is a strong alpha male who will do what he has to to protect those he cares about. E is definitely my favourite brother so far. E owns several sex clubs. He's also a bdsm instructor. He loves that lifestyle and is reluctant to get into a relationship. That is until he sees Lacey. There's a chemistry there that he can't deny. Lacey is looking for her sister and will do anything she can to find her.
In this story we also get to read about the characters we met in book one. I love Nik & Aimee. Let's not forget the slime ball Senator Caleb.
This series is a mixture of mystery and erotica on the dark side. I loved it.

Ahhh I love these Strand brothers!! Each one is amazing in their own way and the feisty women in their lives make for a great read!!

Ok so I didn't like this book as much as the first book. Not that it was a bad read, it had everything; death, BDSM, a killer, lost siblings, kidnappings, hot sexy time....the list can go on. Maybe that was my issue, that there was so much going on. Following on from book one, and seriously you need to read book one before this!! The "bad guy" is still on the loose and still kidnapping women. Aimee is still under guard as she is still in danger. The brothers are all still trying to solve problem.
Even, or E (yes the spelling is different, but it was only needed one time in reference not 5) is looking after his sister-in-law Aimee while Nic is away on business. Owning a club and being a Master, he is used to getting what he wants, and needs. One night he spots Lacey and from that point on that's all he can think about.
Lacey is looking for her sister, and she will do anything, even strip, to find answers. She feels E staring at her and from there the two fight their attraction two fold. She has no clue what BDSM is and E is willing to teach her, after a while that is.
What happens when they get in too deep in the search? What happens when Lacey is too scared to trust E with her heart? Will she find her sister? Will the "bad guy" be stopped?
Well you have to read to find out. I will say I did enjoy the sexy time scenes to a point. I did enjoy getting to see Aimee and Nic in this story as well. I just felt there was a bit too much going on, and quiet frankly it was a bit over the top for me; but that's why its a story. It took me too long to read this book as I found it a bit boring, I don't know why, I just did. I'm hoping for more from book three. I have to read it as I have already told my bestie xyz is going to happen in book three I bet you. But this one just fell flat, this is all just IMO. I give it 3.5 stars.

The Strand Brothers are still standing strong. Their nemesis Senator Caleb Reynolds is still, in my mind, the Devil's spawn. Never have I encountered a villain like this one. His desire for pain and torture is the only outlet for his deranged mind. Still he continues to go free due to his superior intelligence and power to manipulate situations.
In this installment, E has fallen for a woman who desperately needs his help to locate her missing sister. Caught in the underbelly of drug users and prostitution in Lake Tahoe, Keeley has gone missing without a trace. E is taken by not only Lacey's beauty but her innocence. The protector side of his psyche will not let her down. He is committed to helping her, even though he senses his bachelor days are numbered.
Although this story focuses on the love affair between E and Lacey, the story also includes Nik, Aimee and Alex. All their lives are affected as they are supporting and protecting each other. They are a united front and always there to help each other out. The Senator continues to threaten Aimee's life and now appears to have expanded his sick hobby to include more young women of the Lake Tahoe area.
This is a book for a mature over 18 audience. There are aspects of the S & M lifestyle the Senator is involved in that although skillfully depicted, are still disturbing. The plight of the women that fall under the Senator's grip is both horrifying and thrilling, as they seek their freedom from his influence.
Never a dull moment. You will not want to put this book down!

I received Bound by Lora Ann for a fair and honest review......... Let start by SAYING I could NOT wait to read after finishing branded bk 1 in the strand brother series. One thing i did not go into in my review on first bk 1 was that THE books are based on the brothers each bk highlighting a brother and how close all three them ARE and would do anything for each other. Last bk was about nik and Aimee they are in this book too .. all characters are mesh together with the sub-plot which is totally awesome !!! but bound is showing more of even strand he is a master in bdsm and own a string of clubs all over and also teaches couple how to do bdsm right !!! This book so more than everyday bdsm bk , this series will hook you AND does not let you go . even see a dancer at one his clubs that he has a attraction for and try to fight it ,Lacy takes a job dancing because she looking for her sister in this story .once Even and lacy team to try find the sister even is not going to let Lacy down along way he can't keep his hand off lacy as much as he try too . lacy is a virgin even trying to do right but he fighting his feeling. When him and lacy do get together OMG the heat some really hot scenes!!! Caleb the evil mess up sick f**k is in bk 2 does he have something to do with the missing sister? , what does he have in store for nik and Aimee? i can tell to read the book ..i can't wait to bk 3 to meet more of Alex the third brother find out what more caleb up too !!! Gotta love Even
I enjoyed this book even better than the first one. Surprisingly, even though E owns a BDSM club and is into that lifestyle, this book was much milder than the first one. In this story, the torture inflicted by the villain was more behind the scenes than in book 1. His sadistic nature still came through loud and clear though. Aimee and Nik play a big roll in this story, as does Alex. I liked the mix of familiar characters and new. As for Lacey and E, they were a beautiful match. I completely loved E. He was unbelievably kind and gentle. The sexual scenes between the two were more "vanilla with a twist" than anything. E was very tender and loving with her. The danger ramped up a notch in this book as did the emotions. As with book 1, once the sexual aspects enter the picture, they are super frequent. Don't get me wrong, the story was not all about the sex, but I did feel the need to skim over at times. Otherwise, I'm totally hooked in the series and can't wait to see what happens in book 3.

I was so happy to be able to read Even's (pronounced Evan) & Lacey's story and what a story. Even is the youngest of 3 brothers. And, the Strand brothers are Nordic gods (well not really but, they are Norwegian & of course hunks and they even speak the language which, I felt was very sexy.
I won't go into detail about Bound because you can read the synopsis for yourself. I really enjoyed this story. There is a very bad evil man in this series and I am hoping that he gets his own in the next book. Because no one should be able to live with all the bad things he does in both the Strand Brothers books.
There was no announcement as to whether there would be a third book, but there is a 3rd brother, Alex and I hope I will get to read about this hunk too! And, of course I hope the evil doesn't make it but, I am sure he will show up to continue his evilness! I give this book 4.0 O's (O's for Orgasms)

This is book 2 in the Strand Brothers series. This is Even's (Evan) story. I was thrown with the spelling personally, kept reading it wrong but that is the only thing I would change in the story.
Even and Lacy are the main characters in this book and oh what a story it is. Lora is truly a great author that pulls you in from the get go.
There is the villain in this book that was also in book one, and lets just say I hope the jerk gets what he deserves. I don't know how one family can take everything this villain does to them. (great writing)
Even falls for a girl that is looking for her sister in this story and Even is not going to let Lacy down if he has any control over it.
I sure hope there is a book for Alex! I so want to read about him now.

My Review of Bound by Lora Ann
My Rating 4.5 Stars
Book 2 in “The Strand Series.” Loved this book the writer is really detailed in her storyline. Even Strand and Lacey are a dynamic couple just as Nik and Aimee were. This story is heartbreaking as one sister is living through hell and the other is finding the life with a Master Dom is liberating. I can’t say how I hope that Caleb Reynolds who we seen in the first book and get another look at how demented he truly is in book 2 gets whats’ coming to him.
I look forward to reading Alex’s story next in Broken.

Loved this book, it is the second in the series, this one is about Even (pronounced Evan) and Lacey, Even is a Dom and Master in BDSM world, and Lacey is an innocent but sexy dancer in his club.
Lacey needs Even's help to find her sister Keely, who has got herself into some bad stuff with Senetor Calab Reynolds who we met in the first book Branded.

I was on the edge of my seat. I was thrilled by the sexual prowess of Even and the innocence of Lacey. The were as much a perfect fit as Nik and Aimee. I was so scared for Aimee and hurting for Nik when that evil man had her. Caleb is so sick and twist you are prayingforthe brothers to catch him soon. I can't wait to read Alex's story and have justice be done.

Definitely a Keeper
This is a good intro to the Dom/Sub lifestyle. Lora Ann writes about it in a way that does not elicit judgment and acknowledges the lifestyle and not what some see as mere proclivities. Even Strand is a keeper! We finally get to his story. Lacey is the right good girl for this bad boy....who isn't bad at all. Their love story is sweet yet erotica as heck. Once again Lora Ann makes eroticism and romance meld perfectly. She makes a distinction between the physicality and emotional aspects of both. The Strand brothers are perfection, especially in their love for and loyalty to one another.

Ok so I didn't like this book as much as the first book. Not that it was a bad read, it had everything; death, BDSM, a killer, lost siblings, kidnappings, hot sexy time....the list can go on. Maybe that was my issue, that there was so much going on. Following on from book one, and seriously you need to read book one before this!! The "bad guy" is still on the loose and still kidnapping women. Aimee is still under guard as she is still in danger. The brothers are all still trying to solve problem.
Even, or E (yes the spelling is different, but it was only needed one time in reference not 5) is looking after his sister-in-law Aimee while Nic is away on business. Owning a club and being a Master, he is used to getting what he wants, and needs. One night he spots Lacey and from that point on that's all he can think about.
Lacey is looking for her sister, and she will do anything, even strip, to find answers. She feels E staring at her and from there the two fight their attraction two fold. She has no clue what BDSM is and E is willing to teach her, after a while that is.
What happens when they get in too deep in the search? What happens when Lacey is too scared to trust E with her heart? Will she find her sister? Will the "bad guy" be stopped?
Well you have to read to find out. I will say I did enjoy the sexy time scenes to a point. I did enjoy getting to see Aimee and Nic in this story as well. I just felt there was a bit too much going on, and quiet frankly it was a bit over the top for me; but that's why its a story. It took me too long to read this book as I found it a bit boring, I don't know why, I just did. I'm hoping for more from book three. I have to read it as I have already told my bestie xyz is going to happen in book three I bet you. But this one just fell flat, this is all just IMO. I give it 3.5 stars.

I absolutely love this series! I fell in love with Nik Strand in book one, but holy crapola, E comes along and shifts the world on its axis. He's sexy, smart and commanding and most of all he has a heart of gold. I'm so glad I got to read this book, it's eye catching, has humour, lots of hot as hell sex and most of all an Alpha AND a heroine.
This book is aimed at mature audiences of 18+ with sexual content (alot of it I may add!) and violence.

Strand Dom, what more could we want?
Nothing!!! I absolutely love Even Strand. You could tell that this brother would be so much more complex than the others. Every family has a bad boy right??? And Even fits that to a T.

Only his love for his brothers is all he thinks he is capable of. But one innocent will show him otherwise. She will shed light into his world making Even truly see that he is so much more. While darkness and danger try to invade, will love be able to conquer all?

Wow!!!!
So her first book left me bereft. I loved the Strand brothers and the story around them. Ms Lora Ann didn't disappoint in this amazing story with brother #2, Even. I seriously cannot wait for Alex's story and for that matter a possible story with Tar....!!!

Awesome book filled with suspense
Lora Ann has a way of weaving words together to draw you in. This book was AWESOME. Needs to be read in order so you have more understanding of the characters. Be prepared to not be able to put this book down until the end.

VANILLA WITH A TWIST!!!
That about describes Even and Lacey. Lackey is undercover dancing in clubs , trying to look for her twin , Keeley. She disappeared a while back. Got hooked on drugs and started hanging with a wild crowd. But that twin intuition has Lacey believing something bad has happened. But her journey runs her into non other than master Even Strand and she happens to be a dancer in one of his clubs. E usually doesn't fool around with his employees but when Lacey and Evens eyes connect, Even throws his own rules out the window. But Lacey is a very innocent young woman and Master E has to behave. But he decides that he's going to help look for Laceys twin sister, because, no way is he going to let Lacey go undercover into some of the places she'll have to go to get information.

Given Bound 5 stars because it's a must read . Even or master E as he is known in his world love's the lifestyle but lately has found his needs have been left unsatisfied. All the brother's are still concerned about Aimee who has now married Nik they are all keeping watch in case Caleb tries anything again. One night he happened to go to his club and his eyes are drawn to the stage where he saw the most striking beauty dancing on stage. What was it about this beauty he couldn't take his eyes off her. He never mixed business with pleasure but could he keep to his own rules or would his heart win out. Yet again love this story to lora Ann been on edge of my seat the whole way throughout.

Ok listen.. I truly love the storyline, where it's going, how it's being played out. The characters are great but some of the dialogue, I thought, just didn't seem to fit. That was my only thing that kinda threw me at times. But like I said the story itself and what was happening kept me turning the pages. There is some extremely hot scenes too.. wow! On to book 3 I need to know what happens!

The second book in this series delves deeper into the Strand brothers through E, as he called, and his Lacey. Wow, this book is a one heck of a ride. Lora Ann handles E and his Dom side with realism and Lacey's innocence and passion with elegance. Loving this series and now onto book three.....
